Yep, it's Sairoh.

1. The man's pretty clam for an old guy wholost his family and was basically a pirate.
2. He's a merchant, but before was a guy who hired out mercenaries and was basically a pirate.
3. When shinro's parents died, he abandoned hisjob to come look after him.
