Kinmotsu ChibiChels I used to play trumpet then moved to baritone. They needed more people cause everyone was quitting from that section. gonk But now that I have played I shall never go back to trumpet blaugh Anyway I am section leader.. My section has no Sousaphone crying two baritones and four trombones in our section, but only two of thosecan play.. Okay I am honestly asking this... Is it hard to play trombone? I mean no sarcasm either I am genuinely curious... Ha. I started off with trombone. I sucked at it. You just gotta be able to easily coordinate slide possitions and still remember to play. Trombones do it in seven positions. <3 okay I was wondering.. I was thinking of learning it to help a few trombones out with their pitch... sweatdrop

Alright, gonna need some feedback from all of you. I was thinking of ordering some t-shirts for the low brass of my marching band and I want to put a catchy phrase on the front. Maybe even something to relate to our show (Mask of Zorro). So, any ideas would be awesome. Thanks.

My band did a mask of zorror show last year. But I got no shirt idea
But I was just in here to inform you now that we got subforums . . . you can make "seperate" sections for the low brass if you guys want to.

Haha. The day before state, a lot of the band kids are gonna wear their show shirts and we're all gonna go to the movies and see The Legend of Zorro. Heck yes.

Tee hee! sorry about that. I just think that although they are, for some reason(bass cleff mabye?) addressed as one section, I believe that the differences between instruments are great enough to justify seperate threads. I've played every instrument in low brass, so, yeah....

my t-bone section made something for the trombones of the world...and you can wear it to school...
Front: Why are trombones the best?
Back: 'Cause we can do it in 7 different positions....

I love the tuba but I can't play it (my ma won't let me 'cause it's not lady like) so I play trombone and I'm trying the trumpet but low brass is THE BEST! we keep the wole band together 'cause we're cool like that

Our low brass shirts are going to say "All your bass are belong to us" just like in the BNG banner i made ><. I still dunno about the spliting masq. now were getting more baritone/tuba feedback. last time we tried it was all trombone. It should be euphonium tuba section and trombone section tho.
