Haha, welcome Erin, good to have you here. Perhaps you'll find some worth while fiction in our Writer's Corner, there's quite a few works of Fantasy, mine I don't think qualifies, but its listed as Fantasy none the less.

Why I joined this guild: I joined because I was looking for a good fiction guild.
about me: D&D freak....love reading Jordan, Eddings, Brooks as well as Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms books.
I have also read most of the Pern series....as well as a lot in the Recluse novels by Modelstet (sp?) and the Renshai books by Reichhart (sp)
also a fan of Shadowrun.
Currently I am also writing my own story, which up to chapter 6 is posted in my journals.
anything else, just ask!

Good to have you all here, don't be shy, give the place a once over, be mindful, not all of the guild gets used, its mostly the main forum and the Writer's Corner that get the most attention so feel free to create new posts, show off your writing, comment on other's works, all I ask is you be respectful of others and obey the rules!

Why I joined this guild: Because I adore reading decent books and was glad to find a place where I can interact with others who do too.
What I expect out of this guild: To find new things to read and give insight on some I have read. Possibly to add some of my own for people to read once I stop being lazy and copyright then of course. (I can be a bit paranoid about that.)
What I expect out of the Crew Members of this guild: Simply to be good leaders and enforce the rules where they need to be inforced.

Why I joined this guild: Because when I'm not daydreaming, drawing, or writing a brutally-long college paper, I'm reading a good, fictional (usually science-fiction or fantasy) book.
What I expect out of this guild: To learn of some new good reads, and finally be able to talk intelligently to people about some of my literary passions.
What I expect out of the Crew Members of this guild: to be informative, helpful, and friendly. reading around, I see that's the case. Good job, Crew!
I'm a crew member in another guild, and thus I take literacy seriously, so if I make a mistake, please correct me. I think I'm a nice guy to get to know, so don't be shy to drop me a random *poke* message in my profile or PM. Other than that, I'm a huge Halo and Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare fan, as well as any 4* or higher Xbox Game.
