"You sure do seem happy." Areli murmured, hearing the call from Jayvyn. She smiled, nosing Cade and Jax. "Don't kill eachother... wait... let me say that a different way... Jax... don't kill your brother." she said, smiling lightly, as she stood up, shaking her coat lightly. She looked in the direction of Jayvyn.

Jax shrugged, staring at Cade as Areli left. "Don't think I can't." He said, and stalked farther away from him. His words seemed to have hit home, because on Cade's face came an uneasy, squirmish look as he scooted himself out of pawrange.

A soft mew rolled over the lands, as a small male cub padded through the grasses, along side the water's edge. "Where am I?" the little cub mewed. He gazed around, sniffing the air. There were others there... Lions... Near by. Maybe I should go find them... or should I let them find me....? he wondered. He let out another mew, a loud one, that he hoped could be heard. He was almost acting as if he were an older male, roaring to announce his presence.

((Let's send her out! xD))
Brooke didn't feel like going back into the den. The thing about Rellick, he cared. Sometimes he cared a little too much. She sighed, shaking her head as she lay on the ledge, watching the world pass by below her. She saw Jayvyn returning, flanked by a purple lioness that struck her as strangely familiar. She shrugged.
Then her finely attuned ears caught the sound of... mewling? She stood up, her eyes scanning the lay of the land briefly. Before she had the time to locate the kit, she lept from the ledge. There's a kit out there alone... she thought, remembering the days she'd been through before meeting Elli and joining Rackna's pride. Those days hadn't been the best, and she was sure that this cub would be glad to have a roof over his head.
She knew she was near. She could smell the strange smell of the new kit. Carefully, she wandered forward, following the scent. And then... There he was, right near the water. Blue and tan and spotted, he reminded her of... herself.

The small cub raised his head, gazing at the blue and tan lioness before him. "Hi." he said without really thinking first. For all he knew, this lioness could be a threat to him... But, oddly enough-- Something deep inside of him told him that he was safe around this lion, along with the other lions in the area.

Rellick resisted the urge to snarl at Brooke, and pawed at the ground with unsheathed claws. He felt anger, deep and boiling.. To act that way to the cub was inexcusable, to be so ... He snarled and paced, back and forth, back and forth. His daughter slipped off to find Synda, and he growled to himself. The sound of Cade asking him to join the hunt pulled him out of himeself for a moment, and he gave his blessing. "Go with Areli, have fun..." He smiled, then turned away, pouncing up to his ledge and laying down, rumbling his anger and thrashing his tail about.
Jade took one look up at her angry brother and pinned her ears in worry, glancing around the den as though searching for something to cheer him. Nothing came to mind, or paw, so she paced toward the nearest ledge, and pounced up on it, slowly making her way toward her sullen sibling. As she reached the ledge below him, which she assumed to be the Queen's Ledge- Should Rell ever find one- she met golden eyes of pure rage and took an involuntary step back. "Rellick?" She whispered cautiously, never remembering him being angry or upset, let alone livid.
"Jadera." He fairly snarled back, golden eyes gleaming as the sun danced through the cave.
"A-are you well?" She asked. A tail twitch and a rumbling growl were his only reply, so she pounced back down the line of ledges and paced out of the cave, striding toward the water. "Apparently not.." Seeing Brooke, Jay and a female that reminded her of someone she couldn't place, Jadera pinned her ears and sidestepped, turning toward a green path that went toward the water in a roundabout way.
Naharia curled up in a little alcove near the front of the cave, where she could look out and see the Pride, as well as look up and watch her brooding father. With a soft sigh she scrunched lower into her little hole and tried to sleep.

Hearing no response didn't deterr the male in the most. It only added confusion to the pile. Rellick always greeted him. Chuffing at Tay, the black male sped ahead. "Rellick?!" The Dark Prince plunged into the dark mouth of the cave.
Pausing a moment to let his eyes adjust, the Consort spotted the red form of his mate. With a youth's energy and ease he leaped from ledge to ledge, landing on the King's with the slapping of paws. "Rell?" He could feel the anger but he didn't stay away.
If anything he stepped closer.

Brooke felt her heart stop. Oh, god, who was this? Dazed, she sat back on her haunches, shaking her head. "No.. Y-you're a dream. You're a nightmare. This has all got to be a big dream. How can you..." She stared at the cub in horror, blinking. But he didn't go away. If anything, he seemed more real with every blink. "Who... are you?"
"That's weird. I'd have thought she'd be back to apologize already..." Jax muttered to himself. He padded to the mouth of the cave and saw two blue and tan forms faintly, the bigger one obviously Brooke. He frowned. "You stay here." He told Cade, who had come up behind him curiously. Then he made for the water.
As he got closer, the sight that greeted him near knocked the air from his lungs. There was a kit. And it was like the mini version of Brooke... He looked up at the blue lioness, who had been reduced to a frozen lion staring at the kit by surprise. "You're not... related...?" Jax broke the awkward silence.
"But how could we be related...?" She wondered absently. But her head seemed to clear a little.
"Should we bring him back to the den?" Jax asked, coming behind the kit and nudging him away from the water. "Don't fall in." He told him.
Brooke shook her head. "I don't really wanna be in there right now... Rellick..."
"Boy, is he mad..." Jax finished, thinking of the snarling King as he'd left. "I'll take him back then. You stay here and get a drink or something."
"No." Brooke interrupted. "I'm mad. I didn't do nothin' to the cub, and I didn't say anythin' wrong either. I said what I had to. He could hear it however he wanted, but it sure wasn't what I meant." She finished in a huff. But she seemed to realize she could stay away forever. "And besides, you're not big enough to carry him, Jax."
Shutting out their similarities, she gently picked the kit up and the headed back for the den.

"But I can walk you know." Hajari said, tilting his head up alittle as he listened to the twos conversation.
"Rellick..." Areli murmured, watching the angry king, before glancing at Jay. She smiled softly. Maybe thats what he needs... she thought, though, she still didn't move from her spot. She stared up at the angry king. She pondered going to try to comfort him-- But, she desided, that Jayvyn would probably do that. She glanced off to the side, seeing Brooke, with a small cub in her mouth, along with little Jax trailing behind. Areli smiled softly, before turning her gaze back to Rellick.

Sensing that Brooke couldn't very well talk with the kit in her mouth, Jax answered for her. "Y'ain't walkin' nowheres." Catching Brooke's look, he shrugged and corrected himself. "Y'ain't walkin' nowhere."
They lapsed into a short silence, and then Jax piped up. "So what's your name... You two look like twins."

"My names Hajari." he said, before bringing his paw to his mouth and nipping it softly to stop it from a light itch he had for no reason. He dropped the front paw, and looked down at Jax, blinking slightly.

"Don't yer see the similarities?" Jax said, blinking back at the kit. "You an' her? She could be yer mom, man!" A sharp growl slipped through Brooke's fangs, and Jax shrugged sheepishly. "Well, it's true, y'know..."

"I didn't notice..." He murmured, watching the cub. He didn't see the similarities, but, what do you want? He's a kit!

"Well, you take a niiiiiice long look at yerself in th'water some day." Jax told him. "Oh, here we go." They had reached the den.
Brooke hesitated at the mouth of the den, then ducked into the cool shadows, carefully avoiding Rellick as she went, and plopped the blue kit down against the side. Then she took up a place farther away, staring at him strangely.

Hajari blinked at Brooke. "Whats wrong?" he asked, getting up and padding closer to her, his cyan and tan coat shimmering slightly. He stared at her, blinking, slightly confused. Then, randomly, he laughed lightly, his tail batting the ground.
