I have attended a couple professional drama performances with my dad in New York City. My dad has taken me to see the Rockettes, Cinderella, The Nutcracker, and The Lion King. I was younger when we went so sometimes I found it boring (especially the nutcracker). However I’ve come to appreciate it now that I’m older.

The Nutcracker is a fun one, but The Lion King is even more interesting!

• Have you ever attended a professional drama performance? Which type of drama was it (play, opera, musical, dance)?
Ans: I have not attended a professional drama performance. I have only attended a high school play
.• What is the last play you read? Did you enjoy it?
Ans: The last play I have read was Hamlet. I liked it, but I enjoyed watching the movie more than reading it.
• Have you ever seen a musical drama? What type of musical was it? Do you enjoy musicals?
Ans: I do not think I have seen a musical drama. Unless a high school musical is considered a musical drama.
• What is your experience with opera and ballet?
Ans: I have no experience with opera and ballet.
• Have you watched a film / TV adaptation of a play? Which format did you enjoy most, and why?
Ans: Yes, I have watched multiple and mostly enjoy watching the film after reading because it puts a picture of the emotions and settings of the characters.

The last play I have read was The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. I enjoyed it because it was a good adaptation of the book.

I don't believe I have ever seen a musical drama before. However, I wouldn't be opposed to watching one.

I don't have any experience with opera or ballet. The most I really know about opera is the Opera House in Sydney, Australia. What I know about ballet is that it is a way for people to express themselves through dance.

I have watched a TV adaptation of a play. I enjoy the TV adaption's more because the content is more engaging than the plays.

The last play I read was Hamlet by Shakespeare. I liked the first half with the second half and ending feeling underwhelming. I also didn’t really enjoy Hamlet’s character and found him annoying throughout the story. I personally enjoyed Death of a Salesman more honestly.

I do not really like opera since most of what I have heard about it is that it’s loud. I would not be opposed to learning more. I don’t know much about ballet, but from what I have seen, it looks like a challenging and expressive dance form.

Yes, I have watched several film adaptations of plays, and personally, I enjoy that format more. The reason is that we get to see someone else’s perspective and understanding of the play without any restrictions. Sometimes the adaptation can be worse, but other times it can enhance the play.

I probably have but I can’t remember. I was also unaware that there are different types of musicals. I do enjoy some musicals, it mostly depends on how I like the songs and if they make sense in the story. I probably need to watch more musicals to say anything else.

Have you ever seen a musical drama? What type of musical was it? Do you enjoy musicals?
I am not sure if this counts, but I've been to a school musical called Footloose, and it was very entertaining because my friends were in the play and it was alot of different dances.
