Guardian Cat HaniaHania's ears went flat to his head when the sounds of shattering changed, and he turned his head quickly to look behind them at the path then up to where the sounds were now coming from. His eyes went round at the sight of the falling debris and a quick check to see if they would continue dealing with the wraiths showed that they would only have this new challenge to deal with beyond the tiredness from the drainings. TO his horror the debris, while missing him completely thanks to Isolda's protection, were hurting the girls and ripping their outfits. Hania's horror only grew when he saw and smelt the blood of Isolda on her arm. "We need to move!" He yowled but it was too late as the debris hit the area of the path they were on, breaking it and sending them falling. He tried not to dig into Isolda too much out of reflex and hopefully managed to only catch her clothes as he was shifted so the Senshi could try to hold on. Roll 1: 3 Roll 2: 2 Roll 3: 9 Roll 4: 9 Roll 5: 10 Total: 338 or higher: You manage to avoid the falling debris (unless you choose to take any damage), though the ground below you has splintered and crumbles beneath you. You manage to keep your balance, but still fall downwards.

Sailor Valjean
Valjean wanted to believe her, wanted to be certain they were almost free of this strange mirrored hellscape.
If wishes were fishes, though, he'd have a whole sea.
Still, for her sake, he managed a smile and a nod. "We must be close," he said, and he even managed to sound like he believed it. They had to be, surely, they'd been going for so very, very long --
But then the ceiling started to crumble above them, and Valjean let out a cry of horror.
"No, no no no --"
Valjean pulled Cassipeia to him, curling around her as the path crumbled beneath him, and it was instinct to protect her with his body. He could feel pieces raining down, leaving bruises, and he felt something slash open his left side, and another something catch his right upper arm, but he still held on.
He wasn't going to let go of her. No matter what.Total: 20

Sailor Guinevere
Gwen reached back for Morgan, even as the other Senshi shoved her away to get free of the debris, feeling pieces pelt her and open small cuts on her arms and shoulders as the path below her gave way.
"Oh please no," she gasped, but there was no stopping it, and no amount of exhorting the universe was going to change that.
She fell, and the debris fell with her.
Pain spread from her abdomen, and she looked down, and made a distant noise of surprise.
There was a shard of glass wedged there - not large, but certainly not small, either.
"Oh," she said quietly, almost to herself, as she continued to fall.Total: 27

Aokigahara Squire
Aokigahara nodded along with Ochre's explanation. It sounded perfectly reasonable, and frankly he didn't know enough about Mirrorspace or wraiths or the Dark Mirror in general to dispute any of it.
"So they function like significantly more fragile youma - oh, hell." He started to theorize aloud, but he was interrupted by the sudden crashing of debris from above onto the path. He jumped backwards, which was probably a stupid move because the path was probably still crumbling behind them, but it was all he could do. He managed to dodge most of the debris -- but it didn't matter.
The path did not dodge them. It crumbled out from underneath him, and it fell.Total: 40Strickenized "senshisplain" is a beautiful word it's cool though it's not like aoki knows ******** class="clear">

TomlinFor a while, fighting through the wraith swarm was all Tomlin could focus on. Though he slashed through shadow after shadow, many still got past his guard. He didn’t want to admit it, but he was tiring. Abruptly, the wraiths were gone, but the sound above now earned his full attention. Broken mirror pieces were falling through the smoke, and it wasn’t only distance that made them seem big. He heard Liryn’s voice above the shattering glass. Good plan. “Got it,” he called back, and headed in the other Mauvian’s direction. If they could get high enough up the stairs to be above the falling debris… He wasn’t fast enough. A crashing shape hit the floor millimetres from his feet, splintering the path between them, sending shards rocketing back up to bounce and bruise against his side. Liryn reached out a hand - he could still make it with the other guardian’s help. He leapt forward as the ground beneath him disintegrated, paws outstretched. His back leg slipped. His reach fell short. For a moment, he almost hung in the air, watching the slow-motion crumble as Liryn’s stair gave way beneath him. Then another twisted mirror shard slammed into him, stealing his breath and sending him plummeting with it. It hurt, he thought, as his limp body tumbled towards blackness. …The boys were going to be mad if they found out. Total: 19 + 2 = 21Chibi EuporieIt's a bad dream, Chibi Euporie thought. I’m really tired, so I fell asleep. Little choking sobs made squeaky noises of her breathing, and it was hard to see the ghost-things through her tears. She wanted to wake up now. She batted away another ghosty, and pinched the back of her hand. It hurt. And then a glassy shard of mirror stuff fell right on her arm, leaving a little red-pen cut, and that hurt. She looked up, into a meteor shower, and then down into the darkness opening below her feet. There wasn’t time to run again, even if there’d been anywhere safe to run to. Euporie opened her mouth in a shrieking wail as the stair she was on dropped away, leaving her falling again. Total: 15 + 2 = 17

At first, everyone seemed to fall normally. Some may have felt like they were falling slowly, as if through water, and others may have felt as though they were skyrocketing downwards. They fell for a few long seconds—and then, suddenly, they began to catch up with those that had fallen before. No one was safe though; even though they all seemed to be coming together, there was no telling if they were going to stay together—or what would happen if they kept falling. Thankfully, the longer they fell, the slower things seemed to move. It seemed like the world was moving in slow motion around them. Some of the larger pieces of mirror and debris had fallen with them, nearby but far enough away that they weren’t in immediate danger of being crushed. In the distance, a purple light flashed from a strange, crystalline black pillar that stood alone atop a white platform. It was the only platform they could see, but if they wasted too much time, they were going to miss their chance. They couldn’t reach it where they were, but maybe—just maybe—they would have enough time to climb atop the massive mirror fragments and leap across them to reach the platform. Quote: If you have hope of getting out of this place, you’re going to have to climb atop these falling platforms and jump to it! Some strange, ethereal force has made both you and the debris slow, but you shouldn’t waste any time. Get over there, now! Roll one ten-sided dice to determine how your character progresses! If your character fell off the pathway earlier, you can roll for this prompt! They will simply have been floating until this point.1-3: It is difficult, but you manage to scramble atop a piece of debris. Your path is long and arduous, but after a struggle you manage to hop over enough debris to reach the solid platform! 4-7: You had a rough start but manage to climb atop a chunk of debris. You’ve got a clean path in front of you and manage to make your way over to the platform without too much trouble. 8 or higher: A large piece of debris floats in front of you; you are able to climb atop of it and navigate an easy path to the platform. Rank Bonus: Depending on what stage your character has reached, you may add the following bonus to your roll! This bonus will apply for every prompt! Civilians are the only faction that is disadvantaged by this, but due to the draining of Mirrorspace they are not as effective in this domain as powered characters! Sorry, civs!Civilians: -1 Cats (in Mauvian Form), First Stage Characters: 0 Youma, Cats (in Humanoid Form), Second Stage Characters: +1 Cats (in Senshi Form), Third Stage Characters: +2 Fourth Stage Characters: +3 Please keep a tally of your total points in bold red at the bottom of your post! If you miss a roll, you can make it up, but any late roll will have two points deducted from the number. If your character is sticking with a partner or group and your dice rolls would force you to separate, the player with the highest roll can choose to sacrifice points on their roll to lower them to the same path as their partner. For example, if your partner has a total of two and is forced down path a, and you have a total of five, you would need to sacrifice two points to put you at the 1-3 roll tier. This can be indicated with an OOC note to inform us what you are doing, as well as applying the deduction you voluntarily claim in your character’s total! This is the last prompt; there will be no more rolls after this point in time so if you need to make up rolls, please do it now! If your character fell off the bridge before the prompt said to, you cannot make up any rolls that occurred after that point in time. Please make sure all of your posts are filled out; if they are not filled out by this time tomorrow, they will not be counted towards your total score! (Even just one sentence will suffice, so please just double check so you don’t wind up losing points!)

Kari
The fall didn’t last long, at least. In fact, it felt as though Kari had hardly closed her eyes, finally given up, expected to hit the ground…or the…whatever there was in this place when something tapped against her and she opened her periwinkle eyes once more, frowning as she saw a large piece of mirror floating by..and something quite solid in the distance.
Maybe Evan would be there. Maybe that was a way to go home… He had promised her a lot of food…and wasn’t that enough to keep her going? Thoughts of pumpkin pecan pie…
Swallowing, the senshi rolled herself over in the air and managed to get herself onto one of the large shards, then began the long hopping climb to safety…or whatever safety could be in this place.
A safe-ish place, or at least she hoped that’s what she was heading towards.

AndalusiteHe had been falling an awful long time. Falling and trying without much success to keep pulling on the other lieutenants hair…or kick his shins…but after a while even that got boring. As the debris started popping up and the others started falling down, Andalusite slowly began to realize that perhaps he would never reach the ground…and perhaps this was the best way to save his a**…of course…ideally he would be able to make sure that the darker haired lieutenant didn’t quite make it…but then he saw that his new sworn enemy was already scrambling up and doing so with more speed than Andalusite had the power to think about right now, so he grabbed a chunk of rock and chucked it.
“You rat b*****d. I hope you fall again and this time I hope you break your neck.”
…Because if he met the douche again, he would break it for him.4 + 3 + 3 = 10

JulienneJulienne thought that all hope was pretty much completely lost when she fell off the edge, scared and alone and worried and confused…and hatless
It didn’t seem to take too long though before she saw Altais and tried to scamper over to him, her legs wriggling as she attempted to swim to him through the swirling smoke. “Altais! You’re alive!” It made her happier than she cared to admit and when she finally made it to his arms, she knew everything would be okay again. She was safe and he was strong and they were going to make it…somehow.
“Oh! Oh! That, right there!” It was a piece of mirror…one they could climb up and get out of here on. “We aren’t going to die after all!”
She nuzzled closer to the senshi, burying her little furry face against his chest. She was so, utterly tired.4 + 7 + 4 + 1 + 2 = 18

LysitheaWhen Lysithea didn’t go splat after the first few moments of falling, she felt a little better about the way things were going, and tried very hard to swim through the air towards Malus. “Come on. We can do this…we can…”
She glanced around, reaching for the senshi and then spotted the debris floating. “We can use these…we just…let’s get over there!” Whatever that platform in the distance was…it looked solid and that was more than good enough for her. “Malus, come on, we’re almost there…we might have taken a tumble…but I’m okay and you’re okay…”
She glanced around for the youma, hoping he was okay too, and then pulled herself up onto a piece of the broken mirror, panting a little with the effort. “Come on, guys. Jump. It’s just…Frogger. Without the cars, right? Leapfrog? I don’t know…but…”
Lysithea flashed Malus a tired looking grin and leapt to the next piece of debris, fully intent to get to that platform. She was going to get out of here, and then make sure to never let Evan out of her arms again for at least the next fifty minutes. Maybe more.6 + 6 + 7 + 11 + 3 + (3 + 2) = 38

WhislerWhisler did look at Alya and as they fell, he even managed a tiny smile, nuzzling against the hand that wiped away his tears. “Okay…” There wasn’t much conviction behind the word, at least not until Whisler’s eyes landed on the large piece of mirror that was floating nearby. “Okay. You’re right. I won’t give up…I’ll get you out of here. I’ll get us both out of here.”
He tried to direct his slowmotion falling closer to the debris and after banging his head against it, he managed to scramble up. “Can you get onto my back, Rell? I think it’ll be easier to go from piece to piece if you’re up there…”
It would free up his arms at any rate…perhaps offer some extra balance. Besides. It would feel like Virell was hugging him, and perhaps that was what he wanted right now more than anything. “Maybe if we can make it over there…we’ll be home.” Or at least…closer to getting out of this place. Home enough.3 + 10 + 9 + 4 + 6 + ( 1 + 2) = 35

Amesite
Amesite couldn’t help but snicker; falling with Andalusite had been frustrating but they’d worn themselves out after a short while of struggling to annoy and hurt each other. When the floating platforms began to appear, he was optimistic; or, at least, desperate. He wanted out of here, away from Tobias and away from faling.
He wanted to go home and file a complaint to Cavansite and get answers about what was going on—but mostly he wanted to be done with tonight.
When the falling slowed and it registered to him that he could climb onto the debris, that he could leap towards the only stable platform he’d seen since falling?
He wasn’t going to waste any time.
“You’d better keep up,” he called to Andalusite behind him—because, it didn’t matter if he thought Tobias was a little s**t who deserved a few good dents on the head, his mother would be heartbroken if anything happened to her precious, baby son. And even if she didn’t know that he was there, she’d still probably find some way to bame him for anything happening to Tobias.
And, perhaps, because a small part of him actually cared about his brother.
But he wouldn’t admit it, and he hoped that a few pieces of debris hit him hard enough in the head that when they got out of here he’d have miraculously adopted a better personality.2+1+6=9

Sailor Malus
Malus forced himself to shove down the emotions; he hadn’t even been able to see the platform, and likely would have missed it altogether if it hadn’t been for Lysithea pointing it out. He was exhausted and battered and his body didn’t want to cooperate, but he didn’t want to die.
So, he followed her. He was hardly graceful, and his motions were slower and less precise; he wound up hitting a few chunks of debris hard enough that he knew he’d have bruises in the morning, but…
That would be okay as long as he lived to see the morning.
He just wanted out of here. He wanted to go home, he wanted to cook. He tried to keep his eye on Lysithea, tried to keep tabs on Airi—tried to see if he could find Kari.
He didn’t know a lot of powered people, but he hoped that the important ones—the good ones—made it.
He wasn’t so sure he liked being surrounded by so many Chaos people, but so far he’d been able to block it out and just focus on Lysithea’s energy signature.
The platform was so close—she was so close.

Super Sailor Alya
Alya seemed a bit alarmed when Whisler hit his head; he reached up to rub at the spot carefully. “I can do that,” he promised; he waited for Whisler to release him and then carefully twisted behind him so he could wrap his legs around him. He gripped him tightly and kept one arm wrapped carefully around him, using his free arm to try and swat at debris before it hit Whisler.
“I like being this close to you. But your muscles are tense,” he said, pressing his chest closer. “When we get out of here, you’ll have to stop by my pace. I’ll give you a good massage. I have some new oils, they’re good for your skin.”
He was still focused on getting out of there; he just wanted to make sure Whisler understood that he was confident they would make it. He nuzzled his cheek close to Whisler’s for a second before he resumed trying to push away any debris that threatened to hurt either of them.

Super Sailor Adria
Lace’s tenderness—the way she stayed with him, and stayed curled against his neck—was enough to give Adria the power to do just about anything. Or, at least, it felt that way.
He held her close as they fell, determined to do what he could to make sure they got to safety. “It’s okay!” he promised, even when he wasn’t sure if it was going to be. “I see something, over there. It doesn’t look like things are falling, so if we can get over there, we might be safe!”
He was still optimistic—and he saw the perfect pathway in front of them. “Just hold on,” he said; he managed to land on his feet and climb over one piece of debris before leaping to the next. He was focused only on his goal and tried to keep Lace as safe as possible as he leapt. He held her tight enough that he wasn’t going to accidentally drop her, but if he fell he wanted to make sure that she could still jump away and try to save herself.
