Tri quietly moved to sit down by him, reaching up to dry his tears with his sleeve. "I guess you didn't...the stares, what you muttered when you were on me and the sad looks, but I couldn't say anything " he explained with a faint sad smile. "(date) a few days after the eve of Hexxis death " he said softly with a sigh. "A few years after you remade the Renegades and changed their name" he explained quietly.

"It isn't the first time you've forgotten after an episode but eventually you start to remember everything again...but during those times ..." he shook his head. "You've been our best ally and our worst enemy ...as for knowing you married me it has been a fifty fifty deal, to the point that it isn't mentioned " he continued seriously. "... though I can't say it isn't comforting that the thought of me being with someone else ate at you...." he said quietly as the smirk faded and he brushed his cheek lightly before pulling his hand back again.

Tri nodded quietly in confirmation and looked faintly surprised but nodded again as he spoke of his feelings even if it sounded so ironic to him.

Quietly Tri lifted and covered him with the wings of one side as he closed his eyes listening, just comforted with him being near. At the mention of Ree he tensed and opened his eyes glancing toward the door but not daring to get up just now to check if Andy found him. As Zaku continued his frowned deepened and he sighed softly. "Ree... Ree never joined with Cordelia or Andy ..not until recently at least" he said quietly. "Hexxis never returned...she's dead" he said firmly with a look that it may have taken time but he had moved on. "SIU ...it's been a long time since I heard that name..it was disbanded shortly after Parley ...Mara was killed a few months later" he said with a faint pain in his voice. "I joined Norcrest to fight against you..." he didn't expand on that.

"A vampire...out of all the races you could have imitated you went for vampire?" he looked amused. "I never heard of Silver before but you told me she was dead and I never heard of Silence....and Sol..I already told you about" he sighed softly. "It is always like this... you gain a different history. Prior to the last time you were looking for Hexxis and had no idea who I was" he went silent. "Not drinking would have helped" he smirks faintlyas he started stroking his hair gently, nudge off the glowing band and handing it to him. "Do you want me to leave so you can sleep? " he asked softly ,his eyes on the band.

Tri looked intrigued, he always was really when he spoke of things so similar to what really happened. "What Haven facility?" He asked quietly, not hoping on much but it was to good to pass up on. He also wanted to ask about why he had to protect him from a fake Zaku, what happened to Mara and what happened to him but it was already obvious Zaku was pushing himself to even say this much.

"I know. I should have been more alert to that " he muttered, as he continued to stoke his hair, having been mentally kicking himself through the last part of the mission for failing to do so. It had hurt when Zaku was more willing to listen to the women he just meet than to him, but it made sense after what happened to Zaku earlier.

He was waiting when Zaku stirred, sat up and hugged him. He quietly returned the hug, moving slightly so he could rest his forehead against Zaku's. "and you me... but I will be here. We are safe here " he spoke quietly. "You won't forget ..you might even remember " he continued softly as he started to tilt trying to get them both to fall on the bed before pulling one arm back. "Sleep, I'll be here " he promised.

"Hm... the not so good old times...I am glad you didn't forget me this time though." he huffed softly in amusement and raised his wing over him again closing his eyes and just holding him gently as Zaku fell asleep. Zaku completely missed the look of concern on his face as he sighed softly.


It was midday when the sound of muffled arguing could barely be heard outside the door as two people shouted at each other before it abruptly stopped then started up again a few minutes later.

Tri was no where to be seen but Zaku would see that had covered him with one of the blankets in the room.

He wasn't alone in the room either, pale blue glowing cat eyes were watching him with a look of contemplation as their owner lounged in the chair wearing a white shirt and black pants all sprinkled or drenched in dried blood. Black cat ears flicked toward the sound of shouting as his tail twitched but other wise he didn't seem to care.

Ree blinked slowly and just watched him lazily with a faint flicker of amusement on his face but made no attempt to stop him or even talk.

Outside Andy and Tri were yelling as Baelen watched silently from the shadows, arms crossed.

"You know I won't do that, yet you still sent them?! " Andy yelled looking ready to knock Tri out in anger. "You sent them without me... while we're over here looking for Ree...which was your responsibility!"

"We have the intel, I confirmed it with Cordelia as well." he said waving at Baelen quickly with a wing. "They were fit for the job, it will be fine... it isn't about destroy everything in sight either so ..a little out of your league" he said holding his ground but hints of glass were starting to surround him as if he expected Andy to hit him anyways.

She glared at him.

Andy glared at him pointed to Tri and just left.

Tri was frowning "I sent some people to look into Simco ....Andy thinks I should have passed it by her since she's running around trying to find Ree. He was seen killing a few mafia members in Norcrest ... likely the ones that had been after us. " he looked worried and shook his head. "We have to find him before the body count starts going up again " he took a breath and fully looked at him. "It was worth it ... definitely worth it " as if he was trying to convince him. "How are you feeling? You look ... horrid. Hangover? "

Tri looked hesitant but then nodded "Yes... a few things have panned out others haven't. It's a 50/50 chance" he said carefully. "We are not sure why " he added and sighed, at the mention of Ree his eyes widen and he looked him over before rushing toward the room. "He's gone, playing with us" he said a moment's later looking angry then running his hand through his hair as he looked at Baelen. "Check for bodies" he took a deep breath then focused on Zaku. " Are you okay? ... check with your powers " he asked with concern.

A dark green haired meta headed toward them."Hey .. we finished data pulling everything from their base ...few interesting tidbits we recognized right awa-. er what's wrong?"

"Nothing... did you inform Cordellia? "

"Yea she's already on it..." he said looking to Zaku now as if expecting him to add something more.
