Aria Cote
- Battle Information - [Bael is at the ready in case of conflict!]
The ribbon had been a hit, getting the adorible little sandshrew to squeak happily and excitedly. It was enough to persuade the pokemon to paw at the pokeball and capture herself, no real effort from the trainer needed. "Great~" Aria said happily as she felt the ball wiggle once in her hand before heard it click shut. She hadn't understood what the white sandshrew had said, but she had offered to give the ribbon to the little pokemon, so she quickly let the little pokemon back out before her legs could start to protest from squatting for so long. "Okay, now hold still so I can tie this on you~" she cooed as she tied the ribbon in a cute bow behind the little pokemon's right ear. Not that it was easy to do, given the shape of the ear and all, but she had some practice due to Bael's ear shape being somewhat similar.
The girl couldn't help but notice that her fingers felt cold and, after giving the sandshrew a rub behind the ear she tied the ribbon around, was surprised to realize that the sandshrew herself felt more cold than she should. "Ice, huh...?" the girl muttered, earning a squeak of confirmation from the frosty little pokemon. "Well then... How about if I call you Isolde? Is that a good name for you?" The little sandshrew thought a moment before bobbing her head up and down and squeaking happily. "Isolde it is, then~ Glad to have you on the team." With that, she recalled the little pokemon and started back down the path. Bael followed close behind, his tail wagging as he felt he did a good job.

Aria Cote
- Battle Information - [Bael is at the ready in case of conflict!]
Aria felt that it was good that she managed to find a new team member so quickly. Even better that it was apparently an ice type of some sort. Isolde wouldn't cover for all of Bael's weaknesses, but ground types would have to beware from any ice attacks she might have. Actually, now that she thought about it, she didn't know what sort of moves Isolde might have. That... Wasn't good. She'd have to fix that soon.
The loud rapping probably save it's life, because Chrono had started to hunch lower in the branches. His eyes were lock on a morse that he had a hard time convincing himself to let go. It wasn't often that one got a chance at a Fledgling, and the pokemon silly enough wasn't aware of the predator that was close.
Wings pulled tight, he got ready to swoop down, but Jasiri would actually groan at the noise.
"Darn it, i guess nap time is cancel."
The girl would yawn as she sat up and would prepare herself to get up and then she would notice him.
"Don't you dare, Chrono, you will get fat if you keep eating everything we come across."
Jasiri didn't miss the look the bird gave her.
"Let's go, I promise, if it's not worth catching you can get to eat the next one. I just need you to fly a bit to make sure you don't get too fat."
Chrono gave a rasping crow, and simply floated down to land on her arm. The girl would get up and start back down the trail before flinging him back towards the sky.
"I really mean, you need to fly off some of that weight."
Chrono would flap his wings as he scouted from above, His eyes still on his trainer as they walked and looked for any signs of the missing people, the girl was beginning to think that they needed to get further in ...just to even start getting clues about their whereabout, which meant it was going to take longer to get back out of this place.
Now more than every, Jasiri wished the idiot would have cooperated.
"Humph, this is stupid."
She would grumble at the mere thought of him. Stomping a bit, she continued as her Murkrow was happy that he managed to stay a loft and away from her when she is in such a mood.
She was starting to notice the differences in the forest about this point. She had to be reaching the end of it ...as she looks at the thinning of the trees and could see Chrono more clearly following her from above. His black against the blue sky make him look like a moving shadow in the clouds, and she chuckles lightly at the sight of him.
She already knew if he was given the chance he would dive down and probably attack some unsuspecting pokemon, but for now he was busy being her scout. She had the best partner, maybe, killing him to see what the dart didn't wouldn't be worth it.
Then again, once she catches another pokemon...it might be a good enough partner to allow her ...that sort of breathing room as she remembers exactly the second part of this stupid mission.
Yup, if it was worth it ...she was catching the next pokemon.
Onyxia watched as the new Pokémon showed up. Looking at the group and then to the leader she knelt down. "Ummmmm..... what do you want do?" She was confused, watching Ordo step forward. Onyxia studied the other Pokémon. "Ohhh.... dance off? Who do want to face?"

Nim had never drunk tea before, but if all of it was like this, she clearly needed to drink more. She finished the entire cup, savoring the strange but fulfilling taste before gently placing it down on the table.
/That was great!/ chirped Eins, wiggling her shadow tentacles with joyous abandon. /Compliments to the chef!/
"Y-yeah, thanks." For a moment, Nim had almost understood her Mimikyu... but even magic tea couldn't heal all her weirdness in one gulp. "W-we'll, uh, get going now..." Carefully, she'd slink away, the ghost fairy nipping at her heels.

Starter Pokemon: Mimikyu [F] Name & Level: Eins, Level 4 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Eins spent most of her pre-capture time haunting a candy store and sneaking free lollipops into the pockets of screaming children. She'd have been content to stay that way but for the will of the cult. Indeed, she was actually caught by Nim's sponsor, and given to the girl in an attempt to give her a step up when it came to fighting. The sponsor also has a slightly better sense of humor than Nim-- giving a Mimikyu a Mimikyu! No one could count on Nim's dislike of Pokémon being quite as... intense as it was, for the girl can barely stand to look at her starter. Nim couldn't even name the creature properly, just giving it a number for a name. For her part, Eins isn't too fussed; humans are strange, and she'll melt her trainer's heart one way or another... possibly by giving it a heart attack, but still. Stats: 15/19/PP:20/ATK:14/DEF:10/SPD:13/SP-ATK:10/SP-DEF:14 - Wood Hammer - X-Scissor - Copycat - Curse EXP: 118/125 Friendship: 5 Pokemon held items: N/A

Beautiful and quiet. Exactly what Nim wanted out of a garden. If she'd ever considered wanting a garden, which she hadn't until now. Still, the greenery was peaceful and charming for a girl who'd grown up on an ice-locked valley.

Not that Nim minded the cold. Honestly, she tended to prefer it-- she shuddered at the thought of the steam fields and all their abysmal heat. But... well, a little variety was nice. A little color. A ton of whiteness didn't do any good for anyone.

She couldn't help humming a bit, a skip in her step. This really was quite a lovely place to be! Maybe Nim could just stay here? Did she really need to go back to the Academy?

Aria might have just assumed she was walking past some rocks, given how quiet and unmoving they were. However, she was totally wrong. As the young trainer made her way down the mountain, she'd be able to notice out of the corner of her eye a rock rolling at a strangely slow pace. Almost as though... it was pacing her.
But now, it was time for the creature to reveal itself! The rock's path arch so that she'd rest right in front of Aria. The Roggenrola raised her head, staring with one unblinking eye, before launching herself right at the student. It was a battle, whether Aria wanted it or not!

/Hehehe.../
Jasiri might not have noticed it, but for quite some time, something stalked her through the darkness. It skittered and bounced as its claws dug across the bark. It'd been watching her since she'd arrived on the island, ever since she'd been dropped off on the tree. Humans were fascinating, in there odd, odd way... but that didn't mean she was getting out of here scratch free. It was time to strike. With a hiss, the Pokemon would bound past Jasiri to come to a halt right in her path. /Where do you think you're going, toots?/
A Pachirisu stood their, hind claws digging into the bark, gaze cool and casual. He chewed roughing on the wood, gaze oscillating between the girl and her pet. /Yeesh, are all humans so ugly, or did you just get lucky? I'm talking to you, bird brain!/ This last part would be shouted up at Chrono, who he considered to be the bigger threat. /All you birds are the same; empty-headed twittering bozos without even a bit of creativity. Did she catchya because you were too stupid to escape, or do you just have really bad taste in humans?/ He'd give a cackle, thumping his tail against the ground in amusement at his own perceived humor. /Still, it's your unlucky day. Ain't never met a bird I couldn't beat, and you're no exception, feathers. Let's rumble!/ With a war whoop, he'd leap straight up in the air, throwing himself jaw-first at the Murkrow. Chrono was in for a battle against an Area Guardian, and if he wasn't careful, he'd get Crunched!

Aria Cote
- Battle Information - [Bael attacks with Ember! It's not very effective...]
It was... Really weird. Aria could swear that one rock was following her, and not just because it was rolling down the mountain. It sped up when she did and slowed down when she did so that it kept pace with her. That was really... Weird. It was only when the rock rolled in front of her to block her way that the girl could see what the creature was. A roggenrola, not something she'd consider dangerous normally, but still a threat to her budding team due to its typing. And unfortunately, this pokemon was more hostile than Isolde had been, immediately rushing towards Aria. The girl stepped aside to avoid risking a bruised or broken shin.
Bael didn't consider himself a pokemon with a hot temper, but one way to get on his bad side quickly was attacking Aria. He was supposed to be her guard dog! ^Hey!^ the pup barked before spitting an ember at the rock. Not... The best choice of move to use against a rock type, but it would probably at least attract the roggenrola's attention. Or get it stuck in an indent melted in the snow.
- Traveling down Everlast Summit (paused) - [4/10]
In a roar of flames, the Vullaby was no longer their problem. Aida would smile happily as she came towards Tiye with her rump wagging. The girl would pat her between the ears.
"Great job."
"Now, let's get back to work."
With the bird down, mean look's effects were over and the snubbull would put her nose to the earth once more as they continued forward.
A sneaky lick attack from Kecleon came out and slapped against Dante. "Arrrgh." Dante was feeling very weak, now. However, he would never give up without a fight. His jaw erupted in flames, he needed to unleash another Fire Fang!
