Nero "...Ugh." Several moments after his body had rematerialized there in the Reaper Castle, Nero would finally let out that noise following first inhaling air into his lungs after so long. Why was he alive? And why was his power gathering around him? Cosmos could have become an Omnigod after his death, why wouldn't she? Still... after resurrection, he wouldn't have full access to his powers anytime soon.
His senses likewise wouldn't aid him so soon, so he'd have to use his eyeballs to survey the room around him. It didn't take much investigative work to realize where he was, and who very likely orchestrated this. "Ah, the Reaper Queen. You get hotter every time I see you." He said dully. "I appreciate your interest in my power, but I meant for there to be no room for my return. If you could kill me and not bring me back, I would certainly appreciate it." Straight to the point. Nero knew he shouldn't be alive, and it would be best if he went back to death as soon as possible. He shouldn't be here.(( OOC: ))

     Her smirk couldn't be any bigger, that twisted, terrifying smirk on the Reaper Queen's face was never a good sight to see, destruction of some kind always followed soon after! "Ah, how perfect. I am brilliant. The plan worked out perfectly! " While she absolutely hated every Serenitian, she knew this had to work. With Hana's powers of the Angel, and Unisha's holy energy combined, this resurrection just HAD to work. "That's to bad, isn't it? I need your power, and I will get it..." She stepped towards him, raising her hand a bit, he would feel himself lift up off the ground just enough so that he was sitting up. "You are weak right now, aren't you? There's literally nothing you can do to stop me, a powerless God..for now.." She wasn't really here to chat up a storm with her enemies, and who knew when all that power would come back to him? She had to move fast. And fast....she did move, as in the blink of his eye, she was kneeling on the ground over him, her fangs suddenly sunk deep into the flesh of his neck as she would claim him, all the while injecting a dark form of her own energy into him.This would work in dulling out his senses that would force him to obey Krul's every word.
She hadn't had a taste of fresh blood in a LONG time, making it almost impossible to stop. At least...that was...until a strong, terrible burning sensation struck through her entire body, causing her to remove her fangs from his neck and spring back in pain. "That ...damn...contract!! " She really couldn't wait to destroy it! " It's done...You are mine, you...and all your powers will be mine...I want you to destroy, eliminate the contract on all of us.Understand?!" If he couldn't do it now, well, that would be a terrible wait til enough of his power came back to him that would allow him to destroy it..

Nero"Yes, yes, pat yourself on the back. Congratulations, you had to force two people you hated to do something you were too weak to do. We're all impressed." Well, being dead for a while hadn't dulled his sharp tongue it seemed. Nero understood the difficult position he was in, but that wouldn't protect Krul from his wit. "Yes, but before you do anything, you should know, I'm a masochist. So if you bite me or try to otherwise dominate me, I'll just enjoy it." Well, trying to disgust her into inaction was a longshot, but that's about all he could really manage. Not that it was a bluff... what he said was true.
It wasn't likely to deter her, though, and soon he'd be treated to the painfully pleasant sensation of her fangs in his neck, as he felt himself being claimed. How unfortunate. She might notice this was rather unlike any other claiming she had done. She'd feel her own power surge as part of his power was siphoned into her, and every ounce of blood she took from him only continued the meteoric rise of her power. Her physical prowess would be more than tripled, while her mental powers would be more than doubled. She was perhaps on her way to becoming something new--a Reaper goddess. He fell limp after she recoiled in pain, and before he could speak, he felt a Silence spell overtake him suddenly."I should've known." An irritatingly familiar voice to Krul would call her attention, as she would see her dear daughter there, the one responsible for the contract in the first place. "You couldn't just leave it alone, could you? Can you not see we MUST be united to have any hope of defeating Selene?! You selfish b***h--I should've just killed you again and taken your place. I let sentimentality get the better of me. The desire for our family to be together again. But those days are long gone, and I know what I have to do." She drew her anti-matter blade. Though as Krul's powers continued to settle into her, she may realize how suddenly the burning sensation subsided. No, it wasn't the result of its natural decay--it was like a blanket on the fire, dousing all of the pain in seconds. She'd realize quickly that, with the power she attained from claiming Nero, she was now above the contract, and it could no longer punish her. (( OOC: ))

"Unfortunate that your irritating side never stayed dead.." As if that side, one of Nero's biggest traits besides his power was his never ending sarcasm. She choose to ignore his next comment, she wasn't about to fall for that, nor did she care if he really was one. It wouldn't get in the way of her plan.The power she would feel flow into her was......more incredible then any other's she ever would feel upon the claiming process, and it was safe to say, Krul claimed a LOT of people, Serenitians, and the like. Nero was always one she wanted, but never succeeded. His death was the best way to get his power, and him, all in one after all. All it took was getting him back.
And then, there was that voice. A voice that caused her to turn with narrowed eyes. They were not a mother's joyful eyes upon seeing their child, far, far from that. "You.." The newly acquired powers she would continue to gain were incredible, and unfortunately for Velora, she was going to be her new test dummy. "I know what you must do, too.." She barely even raised her hand, flicking her finger just slightly towards her daughter. At that second, it would feel like a train slammed into her, sending her flying back....through many walls of the castle. "Stay down, disappear, or die here. The choice is yours! " She yelled, had Velora been even conscious after such a harsh strike through several brick walls.
Meanwhile, a golden light formed around Nero as Hana created the holy barrier to protect him, at this point..she wasn't sure what affects Krul's claim on him may of had, she could only try to protect him from any further corruption he might of received. At the same time the barrier formed to protect Nero, many, many vines burst out of the flooring and began to quickly wrap around Krul..
Only to instantly wither away from her own corruptive aura.Her power, everything about her, was incredibly heightened to lengths never before seen.

Velora Krul wasn't getting any weaker as the moments passed, and Velora recognized she didn't have the greatest chance of victory. But she also understood that everything she had worked for would be destroyed if she didn't fight this fight, so as she hit the ground, she spun backwards as she slid, getting back to her feet as she began to sprint right back towards Krul. Her split shields flew away from her, speeding towards Krul and attempting to close in around her, trying to keep her in place as Velora reared her weapon back, hurling it towards Krul's neck. Had it struck, Velora would be upon her in a moment, gripping the weapon's handle and attempting to slice straight through, and completely decapitate her.
She didn't exactly have time to waste--every second that passed was a second that Krul gained power, and if she didn't finish this quickly, she would have no chance, and Krul become too powerful. Not only too powerful for her--she would become powerful enough to break the contract herself, and powerful enough to defeat all of Avalanche by herself.(( OOC: ))

"Tick tock...tick tock..I can feel the immense amount of power inside me..And your time is running out." She raised her hand this time, and just as the split shields came upon her, they would fly back like missiles, right back at Velora with just another flick of her finger.
Her control over the shields that belonged to Velora were near perfection, aiming one to strike her in the gut, something that may hinder her helpless for a short amount of time, at that speed, it would be next to impossible to recover instantly had the shield struck her. Had it not, it wouldn't much matter as the gravity suddenly became incredibly heavy in the room. Far heavier then they once might of remembered, Nero's power was no joke, and now Krul had a little taste of that power, literally. She would use it to her advantage and at full power.Could Velora even stand against this incredible growing power?

VeloraVelora's sprinting wasn't stopped as she noticed Krul take possession of her shields--something no one else had really managed. Carmen had managed to make them worthless, but no one had taken control of them before. Still, she couldn't really throw her sword like this without Krul trapped, and instead she did a nimble jump forward, her body narrowly avoiding the shield coming for her gut as her hands reached the ground and she did a roll forward, continuing her momentum in her sprint forward. She'd slide on her knees to dodge beneath the next incoming shield, quickly back to her feet and holding her blade poised to strike--but right when she got in melee range, she'd let out a gasp as she was forced down to her hands and knees by the sudden gravity. "...Nghh... Aaaghh...!" She let out as she tried desperately to put her strength into forcing herself up, but to no avail. It was difficult enough to remain here--on her hands and knees, instead of flat on the ground.
Velora had once usurped Krul's throne, and become the Reaper Queen herself. Krul would remember this too, as everyone's memory had been restored of past cycles. Velora had every intention of doing the same thing again in this timeline after Selene was dealt with. She believed she could certainly handle Krul. As far as she was concerned, she was still the queen, and Krul was just keeping her throne warm. But now... The reality of the situation would be made apparent to both of them as Velora was forced down to her hands and knees, a pathetic, lowly position before Krul.
Velora was bowing to her queen. The real Reaper Queen. Velora was nothing but a lowly subject at her queen's mercy once again.
The real queen had won. Krul had won.(( OOC: ))

"Hmph..How does it feel now? You can no longer ever over power me. You can never win.This power, it's still growing stronger. I'm becoming stronger.. " The cruel smirk at her features would be the permanent, twisted smile as her high in power continued to grow. "This look suits you best. On the ground, where you belong. " It was hard not to forget the memories of the past cycles, and it was those memories that fueled her hate for her very daughter here, but the most hate towards her now, was all due to the contract she created. "You stay there, just like that. The pathetic fool that you are as you bow to your forever Queen.." She wouldn't be a problem anymore, as long as the gravity held her there, there was little to worry about as she let her focus go to the contract, the whole entire reason all of this was happening. That measly contract! She HAD planned, and even expected Nero to be the one to break the contract under her enslavement, but it was to hard not to indulge in her power high. She had to see, if she could destroy it herself.
It was...nothing short of incredible, she barely had to put a lot of thought into it, before that cursed contract appeared there before her. "Watch as all you've worked for, disappears before your very eyes.." She smiled coldly at Velora, and the contract, which she held so dearly to her, burnt up into a unholy energy, completely destroyed in only the matter of a second! It was at that very moment, the heaviest weight was lifted from her shoulders, and every Reaper, human and Serenitian alike would feel a sense of freedom as the contract was finally terminated from existence!

VeloraLuckily for Velora, and as she had almost forgotten, Krul was a complete dumbass. Velora was one of her greatest threats, and instead of killing her when she had the chance, she just decided to gloat, in typical Krul fashion. But while others may feeling very woe-is-me and being degraded by Krul's superior words, Velora was her father's daughter--her brain was still working overtime here. Much like her father, though she was very strong, she didn't win most of her battles with strength--her ingenuity served her just as well, if not more so. Velora put her concentration into taking control of one of her shields back, and poor Hana would be the unfortunate victim as she'd feel the shield slam into her, possibly hard enough to knock her unconscious, but certainly hard enough to break her concentration. And in the same moment, Velora poured all her strength into her next task--raising her blade and plunging it not into Krul, but into Nero's neck. All this as Krul was basking in her victory and monologuing, and her focus was on the contract--and had she not been able to prevent this, she'd feel her power suddenly and alarmingly begin to plummet as Nero was put right back on death's door. Not instantly dead, but so close to death that the powers that had begun to gather around him again fled in an instant. And with it went away the power Krul had taken from him. Literal seconds before Krul accomplished her goal of destroying that contract, the power would leave her, and the contract would vanish--once again out of her reach.
And her control over gravity would likewise leave her, rather tragically as Velora stood with purpose, tearing her anti-matter blade straight up through her torso before gripping it with both hands and once again attempting to rend her head from her shoulders in a moment of swift ferocity.(( OOC: ))

It was quite possible, especially now, to get some word in all the while paying full attention to her surroundings, she wasn't quite as dumb as Velora thought, her senses were heightened greatly with all this power she gained, her attention to the contract didn't exactly make her oblivious to Velora's actions, and it was the very moment when her shield knocked Hana out, that.........! ....Unisha tackled her down, along with the blade that was meant for Nero. Oops. What a huge mess this was quickly turning into! "..? ." Krul found herself actually snickering to herself.Was it really a surprise that Unisha would defend Nero? In so many past cycles, he was her brother in law, and someone very important to her sister, Phoenix. She wasn't about to let Nero's second chance of life be so quickly ended. "Don't kill him! Don't you dare! Krul is the one who should not be here. Get rid of her, and every problem goes away! " Well, all the problems that involved her and her darker minded Reapers. Unfortunately this little moment of distraction may cause bigger problems, giving Krul the time she needed to completely destroy the contract once and for all..Had that happened, would that turn Velora and Unisha into enemies? As Unisha's good heart would be the reason the contract was able to be destroyed, and the new course of dangers with the Reaper Queen would begin with all her new gained godly power.. As interesting as this was getting, she was so close now to let anything risk her goal, and it was time to kick it up a notch. It was then, that same portal would form and Krul would reach in suddenly, this all happening incredibly fast, faster then any of them could keep up with, and that was hardly surprising with all the power she gained.
And grasped in her deadly hold, was the neck of Viola as she pulled her to her, One might say Viola's soul just left her body she was so frozen in fear! The very thing she had feared, just came true. Were fears supposed to come true?! Several blades materialized into thin air, all pointed for Viola's throat. "Let's play a game, shall we? You will stop everything. If you try to harm Nero, and continue to try and stop me...This is the last time you will see her alive." She looked right at Velora, her cold eyes narrowed onto her seriously. "You two are close, hmm? A little....to close. " The thought sickened her to the core, and for good reason. "I can end her right here, right now with just a thought. Do you want to continue trying to stop me, and watch her die? Or will you return to the ground, begging me not to take away the love of your life? " What ever choice she made, would lead to some kind of disaster. She could agree not to bother her anymore to save Viola, but in doing so, the contract would be destroyed and everything she put together would come undone, and far worse then ever before as Krul rose in power to an even greater threat to the world with her masses of Reapers at her side, and a God! Or she could choose to let Viola die, to save everything she worked so hard for. As she waitted for her reaction, another thought came to mind. Velora obviously wanted that little dream of a family back again, and maybe, she could use that to her advantage here, if nothing else worked. "Think about it. Give up, let this happen and you may have that dream you always wanted. Ephraim here, you're father..along side us. You can have all you ever wanted, the family you wanted, if you just back away."

VeloraUnisha seemed to be under the false impression that Velora was on her side. When she tried to tackle her down, Velora braced herself on her arm, turning her blade and stabbing Unisha straight through the stomach, before grabbing her by the hair and hurling her away hard enough to crash her into the wall. "Fool!" She shouted in frustration during the process, the idiotic princess possibly being the reason Krul would become a Reaper goddess. As Krul brought out her next little trick, threatening Viola, Velora gritted her teeth. With strain, she found the strength to force herself to her feet, sword in hand, wordlessly facing Krul. Her eyes subtly moved around, scanning the situation, the environment, everything--all in an attempt to identify a way to turn the tables. If she killed Nero now, she risked Viola. If she attacked Krul, she risked Viola and it was unlikely she could overpower her even still. Her heart began to sink slowly, as she began to believe that there may be no winning this situation. The smallest push might send her into defeat at this point...
And the push Krul gave her wasn't a small one. Those last words... most of her knew that the likelihood of that being true was slim. Yet... she desired it more than nearly anything else. More than her conquest. She stood still for several moments, before swallowing hard, and lowering her weapon. She tossed the sword aside--it clattered down to the floor moments before she would join it, dropping down to her knees before Krul. Then, crumbling down to her hands and knees, prostrating herself before... her queen.
Unlike moments before, she wasn't just put down here in potential defeat. It wasn't just Krul overpowering her. She now took a completely submissive posture before the true Reaper queen, surrendering utterly to her and accepting her defeat.
This time, truly--the real queen had won. Krul had won. Velora had chosen submission, becoming subservient once again to the real Reaper queen.(( OOC: ))

The look of complete shock on Krul's face was a rare one, like she had seen something completely unbelievably near impossible to believe had she not seen it with her own eyes. Velora, stabbing the pink haired princess she hated most in the world, and it wasn't just some little stab in the arm, it could be pretty well deadly. For so many years she dreamed of the moment she was able to do that very thing, little did she know, it was the daughter she labeled useless, a traitor and many other unkind things! For a while, she believed she was helping the Serentians, but this little move of hers, it was safe to say, she likely wasn't looking to help them. Had anyone knew about this little incident, it would be a complete shocker if anyone allowed Velora near. Well, anyone but one person, he was soft when it came to his children, be it in some other timeline or current. "How...impressive..." She finally began to say,as she watched Velora fold completely before her in mere moments. That look of defeat in her eyes was not only relieving to see, but quite satisfying. Finally, she had truly given up..There was no more determination in those eyes..
"I was wrong about you..You are quite close to perfect after all. " She didn't exactly let Viola go, but the blades did fade away, so long as she had her in her grasp, Velora couldn't pull any tricks on her, she wasn't about to take a chance like that again. "If you really want to be my perfect daughter...as much as I dreamed of doing it myself, to see you, my daughter...be the one to completely bring her to an end would make me all the more happy. You would like that, wouldn't you? Eliminate all those who get in our way, and it will truly be just our family, and all of our kind to take over the world of Gaia.."
With those words, the contract returned in front of her.."Now then...I will take care of the first interruption in our family time. "
".......What is she talking about?" Viola only arrived moments after Velora stabbed Unisha, so, she had no idea what the reason of this praise was. She also didn't even notice her, as when she crashed into the wall with the force she was thrown,a few things kind of fell over her, blocking her from view. She did know however, know how fake Krul was being. Velora's fragile mind when it came to the dream of her family was easily twisted. "...You're not...really..--!! " Her words were cut short as she felt her throat close up, feeling as though an unseen force was cutting off her air supply. As if Krul was going to let her try to bring sense back to Velora...She would hear Krul's voice in her head instead, warning to her be silent or worse would come to her..For now, all Viola could hope for was that Velora had some kind of plan...she had to be tricking her..........

VeloraAs she prostrated herself there before the Reaper queen, Velora's defeat slowly began to melt into a sort of... acceptance. Perhaps this was where she belonged, bowing to the true queen. She had spent so much of her life under Krul's oppressive heel, perhaps she simply found comfort in the familiarity. Maybe it was for the best. Krul was becoming too powerful regardless--maybe their only hope of stopping Selene was to force the world to kneel to her and unite under her rule. Besides, if she and her father's lives were spent on their knees, in submission to Krul, well--at least they were together, right? Wasn't that all that mattered? Lifting her head, her submissive gaze met Krul's powerful, dominant eyes as she listened to her orders. When she summoned the contract, Velora felt her heart skip a beat. Everything she had worked so hard for... so close to being undone. Yet as Krul's powerful, dominant eyes pierced through her, she felt herself shrinking before her. "...Y-yes, my... queen." She uttered out defeatedly in response, signaling the certain end of this conflict--and Krul's absolute, utterly dominant victory. The contract's fate was in her hands utterly now, as Velora had surrendered any claim to its fate.After Krul made her "choice" with the contract and had a few moments to relish in it, and before her orders could be undertaken regarding Unisha, someone else appeared there next to Unisha, kneeling down and lifting her weak body off the ground from the rubble. Then, were she still conscious, she'd feel teeth sinking into her neck--probably not the most surprising sensation to feel in this realm. What would be surprising was that, while she may feel the oppressive sensation of feeling herself claimed, she'd also feel her wound being healed at the same time. Hard to say if this was a pleasant or unpleasant feeling overall, between the biting, the claiming, and the healing. Though if she enjoyed pain, it would definitely be overall a net positive. Raising his head to look at Krul afterwards, Aeon spoke dryly. "Oops. She's mine now. Guess you can't kill her." Typically when Reapers claimed "property" it was forbidden to try to take it or hurt it without permission, but given Krul was the queen, she wasn't necessarily beholden to the "laws."Closing her eyes for a moment, Velora took a short breath, before raising to her knees, her hand coming to her sword handle, though she didn't make any moves yet. "I can kill them both if that's what you order, my q... queen." She was slowly settling into her place... beneath Krul once again. Where she belonged...(( OOC: ))

It wasn't long before Krul relented her choking hold of her neck, as to focus everything on the contracts destruction. It was only seconds, but enough to gather what she already heard and saw, and try to piece it all together. Now, she was fully certain Krul was heavily manipulating Velora into doing her dirty work. To make her like herself. All for the sake of a family that didn't exist and never would be.
She really thought she had time before Krul destroyed the contract, but it was at the very second Viola's sneaky little tail turned into a actual bladed tip, and plunged through Krul's chest, that the contract was destroyed......
And thus, a massive pulse of a shockwave flew from Krul's body, one that would reach through the entire realm and the world of Gaia, and anyone under the contract would feel that heavy weight lifted from their shoulders, and each and every Reaper would find they were no longer in danger, including Krul. While Velora wouldn't be affected by the force of the shockwave, nor would Nero, anyone else there, including Aeon who so bravely made his appearance, if he didn't manage to avoid it somehow. "That was once the rule, wasn't it.." She looked at him with cold eyes. Since he had been with them, he was always far to cocky for his own good. But to pull this stunt, it was as if he was mocking Krul all together. She HAD seen him as one of her most reliable Reapers for a time, but now..well, she had plenty and a new high of power that a few lost Reapers, including Aeon, wouldn't hurt her to much. "I'd rather not lose someone so useful, though if Aeon stays in the way, you can kill them both." Ether way, she would be enjoying this. To see Velora finally obey her, to have submitted so easily, she should be honored to be given the chance to kill the one person she dreamed of killing since the day the princess was born.
"Velora?! ....You're not serious...Don't listen to her! She's using you! You know that.......You KNOW that! Don't let her manipulate you! Don't let her destroy the good in you! You know....she has no intention of letting you be a family..What about me?! Do I matter at all? We could have been a real family..a real one!" Unlike Krul's twisted lies..
Unisha, meanwhile, wasn't quite so awake after her collision with the wall, even for a Serenitian with extremely powerful healing abilities, in such a state, a stab wound like she received wasn't easy to just brush off and heal. That and the loss of blood together, was a lot for a body to handle even for her. She was never physically strong after all. Only when the sting of fangs entering her neck came, he would hear the soft moan from that brief moment of pain, she already was in quite a bit of pain as it was! At first, she didn't realize the healing that was happening, she only saw the familiar crimson eyes responsible for the pain in her neck.And it finally hit her, Aeon had claimed her. Something she nor any Serentian wanted to have happen to them.But in doing so, he..saved her? As she looked into the eyes of her childhood friend, despite all that was going on that she didn't seem to one hundred perfect realize yet, she found herself searching those eyes for any hint of good...what was his reason for doing this?
