Miyuki was a bit outside of the camp grounds as she was practicing growing a plant. A flower (technically a weed by some standards), as she figured it was the easiest thing to start out with. She was focused on her task, while trying to ignore the fact Ai was trying to keep Suki from interfering.

It was half tempting to put the too curious eevee in her ball.

She didn't actually hear him, being more focused on the seed in the ground in front of her. The mental exercise that magic required wasn't hard for her. She could, in her mind's eye see her magic flow into the ground, it would be the energy to feed the plant, like the sun. To speed up the growth and have it push out, through the ground.

It was just, Lancerial was not kidding when she said that took a great deal of magic and focus.

Miyuki frowned slightly as she tried to imagine her magic and the flower poke up from the ground. It was creating a little dome of magic on the ground where the seed was as she tried to focus and get the seed to sprout.

To say the least, the dome of magic was shiny to Suki who was wiggling out of Ai's grasp to paw at the sparkly light.

Ai dropped Suki, being taken off guard by the pounce. This allowed Suki to go after her skidding sibling with all the intention of pouncing her back. Landing both eevees into the dome of light.

The sudden introduction of other life forms caused Miyuki's magic to surge out of control.

"Wha-"

It was already too late as the dome exploded and some sort of additional light kept Miyuki from opening her eyes lest she be blinded by it.

Miyuki blinked the stars out of her eyes, even with her eyes closed she could see the light in the back of her eyelids. Shaking her head a bit, she looked to see what had happened.

No wonder why it was so bright, they had evolved, but while Kaede was something she had recognized from Shiro's Pokemon entries, Suki was something else.

For starters, Suki was mainly pink with a bit of blue, a colour combination Miyuki didn't think existed in land animals. She looked like a cross between a bunny and dog, with bunny ears and a cute doggy tail. Both a very pink colour, with the rest of the body being an off white pink. Her eyes were now large and blue, which could cute and creepy. The weirdest part though was the bow like things on the now not-eevee, that had streamers that seemed to move despite there being no wind. Miyuki wasn't sure if those were decoration and body parts.

"I don't think that was supposed to happen," Miyuki finally spoke.

"I have no clue, I'm pretty sure Shiro's tablet never had an entry for an evolution like this," Miyuki mused as she held out a hand.

Suki bounded over and used the two streamers on her head to reach out and wrap around Miyuki's arm.

"That feels kind of weird," Miyuki murmured, "There's no bones in there, and it's soft but it's... skin? Fat? It's something..."

It was really soft, but it was really bizarre at the same time.

"How is she doing that?" Miyuki tried to tug her arm away and realized it did have a grip.

Suki on her part cuddled up against her trainer, pleased with the evolution, and not caring she was confusing both trainers.

Ai and Yasu were also bemused by this, mainly because it was unexpected for the two to evolve by magic like this.

"So... when they jumped into my work space, Kaede got the plant portion and Suki got the magic? I thought Pokemon didn't use... magic... what is she?"

Miyuki hoped she didn't accidentally create a magical accident. That would be hard to explain. Getting Suki to move so she could get up, Miyuki brushed herself off.

"Let's go get Shiro, and maybe Lancerial for good measure," Miyuki suggested, "She's not too bright with those googles is she?"

She wondered if she could teach Suki to contain her magic at all, she wondered how that would even work.

Miyuki looked down at Suki who was walking beside her, almost with this cheeky smile. Maybe she was pleased she was being so confusing.

"So... what are you called?" Miyuki asked.

Some yips later, Miyuki was perhaps a bit more bemused because she didn't know where the term came from.

"Sylveon? Are there other types of evolutions that we don't know about?" Miyuki inquired.

She only got a few yips and what certainly looked like a cheeky grin.

"That's not fair..." she murmured to her Pokemon, "Ai?"

She looked to her main Pokemon and Ai just tilted her head yipped and joined Eon.

"I didn't think Pokemon could be mysterious," Miyuki muttered, "I guess I was wrong."

Ai twittered at him and nipped Eon in the shoulder, perhaps getting Eon's head back down to earth.

Miyuki chuckled, "Possibly, I don't think this is something that normally happens. Though it does make me wonder, since they're not that surprised about it, how does this happen in nature? And what type is she?"

She couldn't be any of the types that they knew, because all types didn't involve magic.

"Is there a magic type?" Miyuki had never heard of such a thing for a Pokemon.
