Lighthouse
Peyton didn't so much flop against Lex's shoulder, as slump. She felt well and truly exhausted, or spent, or drained, or a combination of all three. It left her a little pale, but she tried to flash Otto a smile. Lips twitched, but the expression melted into a grimace before fully forming. If she could have reassured him, she would have, but she didn't know what to say.
She did give Rin an odd look, one that would have been quite a bit incredulous had she not been in such a great deal of pain. "Cousin," she corrected, and if Rin didn't want to ask about Mark, Peyton certainly didn't want to force the knowledge on her. It still seemed terribly unreal to her.
Shock, she suspected. It a was working as an insulator. Protecting her from the worst of it all.

[ hospital basement -> first floor -> lighthouse ]
"Yes, I did find something interesting," he answered Chel, and then ignored her other comment in lieu of investigating what could be scrounged in a hospital. He picked up several more guns (one could never be sure with simply one after all), a grey coat, as well as raided what folders or medical tech he could scrounge through the damage on his way up and through the first floor.
The alarms made him think quickly. Pairing off was sensible. Finn to Fini, Chel to whatshisface (Chris, he caught a Chris in passing), him with--alright. He'd have to suppose wherever Abbi and Ripley were, or Ian and Shiloh and his other soon-to-be-lackey, they were out of the base. Priority one: get out alive with as high a number as possible.
The back of Oliver's collar was grabbed forcefully. "Princess," he greeted, "time to go to another castle." The poor guy was yanked along by a giant with long legs bringing up the rear of the group, watching for stragglers.
They would get a swift kick from him if any dragged behind. That was his life insurance policy.

Peyton didn't even give Rin a response. The comment didn't deserve one. Not the place, not the time, and ridiculous to boot.
Instead she scowled, shifting her weight on Lex's shoulders. It was incredibly uncomfortable, putting pressure on chest and hips, but she knew the alternative, being set down only to be picked up again, would be worst.
Was the portal up yet? She just wanted to go home.
Wordlessly she reached out a hand towards Otto, The only person currently present she really knew. Someone she cared about, that she had worried over. And maybe, just maybe she needed the reassurance of his touch, for her own selfish reasons.
Behind him she saw Kostya heading towards them, and one more tightly clenched knot of anxiety uncurled just a little. "Kostya, how are you holding up?" He had almost been crushed.
