Kage saw the boss heading for the second set of stairs and followed, dragging the whore behind when something clipped his foot. he looked down to see a huge piece of concrete and metal skidding away. The back of his foot had been shattered, pain flared from it's ruin, but had he not moved at that exact moment, both feet would have been gone. he looked in the direction of where it had come from and saw the droid. somehow it had gotten out, but that didn't matter. the rubble made it impossible for the droid to reach him just yet, so why not taunt it a bit? the pain was ignored as he saw a hunk of wood that was on fire. with one more look at the droid, he shoved the whore onto the fire, smothering it with his torso. the sizzling of flesh and scream made the pain on his heel almost worth it as he drug the whore back and once more ran for the stairs.

Momo felt something fly past him and saw the blood on Kage's ruined shoe. he looked to see what had hit him, but was jerked forward and thrown over something. fire seared his flesh and he started to scream as he was pushed down onto the burning beam and held until the flame went out. Momo's vision blackened and he passed out. his body was limp as Kage drug him to the stairs, unable to move any more.

Kas slipped out of the elevator shaft and had to cover his face with his arm, the smoke and dust too much to breath in. "dammit." the thing was suppose to be a small flash bomb, not an actual one! the idiots must have stored it with their ammo, that was the only way things could have turn out like this. his leg had been bandaged and stitched where the bullet had hit earlier, but because of that he was in charge of getting the hostages out, instead of in the actual fight. it was annoying, but he obeyed the orders. now it was a search and rescue and his leg was going to be a problem. he followed the blueprints Mun had drawn out in his mind and went to where they were suppose to be. what he found sent his blood cold. the only one there was Mun, and he had been shot. "s**t-" he took off his shirt and wrapped it around the man before lifting him onto his back. his leg screamed in protest, but he ignored it. "let's get you out of here, big boy." he could worry about the other two after that.

Kage screamed as his shoulder was dislocated. the grip on his wrist made him let go and he dropped the boy, turning on the droid and drawing out his cutlass at the same time. he slashed down, slicing the droid's shirt and leaving a long gash in his front. Kage jumped back and looked at his arm, "can't hurt a human, my a**!" he smirked, "But that makes it more fun. never fought a droid before." he readied himself, "don't worry, i'll make sure you don't die. not right away, you can watch me play with your pet while the light fades from your eyes."

Kage ran to meet him, swinging the cutlass downward in an attempt to cut off the droid's arm. he may be made of metal, but metal could be cut. his blade glanced off the arm and Kage cursed as he tried to dodge the blows coming his way. he managed to miss the first, but couldn't maneuver out of the way fast enough to miss the second. he felt something crunch as the bitterly warm taste of iron rose in his mouth. he skid away a few feet and spit out blood. "the ******** is with this droid?" he growled before swinging back into the fight, not caring about the unconscious whore. he was pissed now, all he wanted was to see this thing in pieces.

Thomas let out a low whistle as he lowered his gun, having been about to shoot the man attacking the android, but there was no need for that now. the android ran to the man on the ground and more from that than their appearances did he make out who they were. he stood up from the rubble he'd hidden behind and held his hands out, the high powered rifle handing from it's strap on his shoulder. "Hal?" he called out, as he stopped a few feet away, "and Momo, right?" he smiled, "My name's Thomas, i'm with Mun and Kas, well, you probably haven't met Kas since you're up here. anyways, i'm here to help. by the looks of things, your friend needs medical care. i know the way out of here, we can get him to a doctor if you'll follow me?" he was quite a bit shorter than Hal, making him seem like less of a threat. his smile was well worn and friendly. "we should hurry, the building's collapsing around us."

Thomas nodded, "good, let's go. most of these idiots are occupied with the fires, so it should be an easy out." he lead the way he'd come, going to the elevator shaft since it was a direct shot out and was on the other side of the building from the explosion. "alright, you are going to have to carry him up, sorry. i'll cover you here." the truth was that finding these two had not been his goal, just a happenstance. he was here to hunt down Boss and take him out, this was just a detour. "carry him up to that open shaft on top, some of my men will be keeping an eye on it. they have your descriptions so they will cover you. when you get on the street head left, North. go to the next street, it's called Cherry, and turn right. one block down and you'll find our meet up point, they will take you in and get you medical care." he lifted his gun to his shoulder and stood in front of the shaft, "hurry. tell the men there i'm still on the hunt, but will pull out if target is not found in ten."

Kas looked up from where he'd been working on the wounded and saw a ragged looking pair run into their mist. "Hal?" he asked as he hurried over, motioning for some people to help him. "looks like Tom found you," he saw the state of the human and grimaced. he was bad off. "here, let us get him on a blanket." he motioned to a clear spot and let Hal lay the human down before he got to work. "i'm Kas, i was suppose to help get you out of there before all hell broke loose, but-" he glanced at where Mun lay being worked on still, a major surgery happening on the ground of some ancient parking lot, "those idiots were stupider than we thought." he was handed a med kit and got to work, cutting away the remainder of Momo's clothing for better access. "sorry if you need help, none of our mechanic team are here right now, they're helping in the fight." a blast came from the sight of the fight and Kas smirked as he cut away dead, burnt skin and rubbed in lotion, "this will be over soon. thankfully they lost a lot of their fire power with the explosions." he glanced at the bruises and cuts that covered Momo's body and shook his head, "poor kid. got a brother round his age, would kill me to see him like this." he looked up at Hal, "you got in a fight yourself, huh? you take care of the man that did this?"

"Battle rage," Kas said with a shrug as he started to loosely wrap Momo's torso in bandages, "happens to the best of us." he paused and looked at Hal curiously, "i didn't think androids could feel something like that. huh, the kiddo was right. you're a strange one." he went back to wrapping and when that was finished, he moved to Momo's feet. the kid had been worked over and Kas had been focusing on the burns before he went to work on the rest. "listen," he said softly as he reached Momo's thighs, "i need to check his a**s. i know you probably don't want me to, and we're damned lucky he's asleep for this, but the amount of blood on his underwear worries me. they did some damage and i need to treat it. will you roll him onto his side and hold him? i promise to be as quick as possible."
