The fifth and final shard appeared nearby. With a more confident grasp, he obtained the fragment. Another flicker of something crossed his vision. It was quiet, peaceful. A private conversation in a comfortable environment. At least, that's how it seemed. Whatever these fragments originated from had to be big. Perhaps memories. Of whom?

No matter. His task was complete. It was time to go back.

Raumias watched the growing party with skepticism. The one of them asked her politely, though, and that should mean something. Not that she'd be polite in return, but... honestly, she wasn't about to turn down a fight. And having others around would give her a better environment for learning how to do that.

"Does it matter what we fight? Let's go," she said. "You can all call me Raumias."

She turned to them individually now, to address each of them. First, the one who'd addressed her when she approached. "Your ideals, I suppose they are sweet. I do not agree with them, but I am glad for the fight and if you are all heading towards that end I will follow and I will fight."

Secondly, the excitable one who hadn't asked so politely, but rather firmly. Raumias had nothing against them: "And I will join, yes."

"I hope you will prove useful in battle, Wyng," Raumias addressed the final one.



Raumias sidestepped the gesture of the one trying to usher them to combat, escorting herself proudly wherever they were going.

She had no idea where they were going, but she'd go there with flair and confidence.

Ralifa had no clue what these other squiggly people were talking about. Or where they were going. But it seemed interesting enough.

So she followed. Even if she wasn't quite personally invited to go along by them. If they said no oh well.

{Exiting to battle arena)

"Ah should be." Was Wyng's only comment before she too left for battle.

[Wyng exits to the battle arena]

"I wonder if ye can pin 'em," Harland added, blushing faintly grey as his mind wandered and he imagined that you could probably at least chase one directly into someone and lock it in place.

He didn't exactly want to be that close to new people, much less-- well, no, just this one stranger, basically. He didn't know anyone else, and all his memories were gone; did he even have memories? Was there anything he was missing?

In passing, Arldhan started to grab at straggling fragments.

Maybe if he passed off the herding as practice?

On second thought, while they were talking, the fragments seemed to have gravitated away from one another again. It seemed like Arldhan had no dignity at all, because he proceeded to race back and forth whooping and baying like a hound to try to startle them back into a pool for the new friend to scoop some from.

"If ye leave 'em for too long, they get away from ye, the bol--" Arldhan stopped himself. He couldn't remember what he'd been about to say, but he did know he did not want to say it.

in a towel? he heard, and tried to pay it no mind. He seemed to smile extra when he was trying not to feel crazy.

Nojha was again impressed by this acquaintance's deftness with the fragments. As the herd came back around to him, he attempted to imitate the other's movements. He hadn't seemed to pick up the nuance of the technique as the fragments all avoided him.

"But vhat vould ve pin them vith?" he asked, glancing around their surroundings. He didn't really see anything of use... unless they wanted to use his robe. It was certainly in bad enough shape that tear away a bit of a sleeve wouldn't be too difficult.

Kirki paused and furrowed his brows, then tried again. "Chaaaaesel? I'm Kirki." He held up the fragment he'd collected only moments ago. "Have you touched any of these yet? It talked to me when I grabbed it."
