Dara internally face palmed herself for her mistake. "Oh yeah, I never practiced it with you. I had only practiced it with Eric. Well Gathering Cutter is when while using the extra resonance from the Chain Resonance, I would be able to use your shadow to hold the enemy in place, allowing the others to attack without fear of being attacked back."
 "If you can't be number one by yourself, then surround yourself with strong friends, and be number one together."

Never again... Harold nodded. It seemed like a decent enough plan. If they all ganged up on Kain they should be able to bring him down. "Sounds like a plan," he told her. He was still almost at full power and the resonance force he was giving off was enormous. Hopefully the others would be able to control it. He closed his eyes and attempted to begin a chain resonance, reaching out towards the others with his soul wavelength. Will I be bound in chains... [[so...umm...does that mean this mission is on pause for a while then?]]

 As the vines came at him, Divine drew back his lance and rushed in towards them. One vine aimed at his head, but he would dodge it and he would do the same thing for each and every vine that came his way. The way he moved and the speed in which he did it, made Divine seem like he was barely even trying. Stopping in motion, Divine used his lance and slashed it in the direction where the vines had originated, releasing a powerful blast of black energy at it. Then he constructed an all-around energy barrier to protect himself from the few vines that he could not dodge.
While he attempted to strike Michi down, Kain would fail in his attempt as she avoided his attack and went to try and bind him in place. At the same exact moment, Shira would appear behind him and attempt a kick. Bending down quickly, Kain jumped into the air and landed behind Shira, who would now be the one in the path of the shadow claw. As soon as he landed, Kain turned around quickly and slashed his sword in the air, deflecting Emma's knives like they were nothing. "Come, you must have more strength than this." he stated as he vanished and appeared right in front of Emma, attempting to pierce her abdomen with his sword.
"That was too reckless." With Shira in the line of fire, Atticus would react instinctively jumping out of Shira's hand, Atticus transforming back into his human form and using the moment gained from the jump, Atticus took Shira by the hand and pulled her out of the way of Michi's claw, but now he was the one in danger. Transforming part of his arm into a sword, Atticus held it up in front of himself and tried to block the claw.

 CharlotteThe Nightmare Witch-in her prime- The dark matter was sliced in half and sent back by the black energy. It suddenly seemed to absorb is and grew bigger. Some vines came up from underneath the barrier Divine had and came at him at an even faster speed while the darkness managed to reconstruct itself.

 The Next Shinigami ◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆••• Shira had a difficult time keeping up with what was going on. Next thing she knew, she was next to Atticus as he attempted to block the attack from Michi. Deciding to rely on Atticus for that, she saw Kain had an opening on the side and managed to send a pulse of her wavelength at him. At the same time, she felt Harold attempt a chain resonance. She had no idea what to do honestly but thought it would be best to try and help. She managed to increase her wavelength enough the resonate with his. She still had her hand on Atticus' so that both of their souls would be involved with the chain. How strange, she had no idea what she was doing and yet it was like this was happening out of instinct. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

"Why always me?" she muttered as she swung her sword which collided with Kain's with a sharp clang. She moved back so she wouldn't get hit by Shira's or another one of Kain's attack "Alright, you want my all, you got it." she said as blue flames suddenly appeared around her and enveloped her. The flames formed into the shape of her soul for a moments before exploding and a large demonic cat stood near Kain. One of the blazing tails came at Kain at incredible speeds and, even if it grazed, would cause major damage to Kain. ☾

Never again... Harold could feel Shira and Atticus begin to resonate with Dara and himself. Now he just needed Michi, Aislin and her dog Weapon to resonate. He watched with frustration as Kain attacked Emma. But suddenly flames wrapped around her and exploded, revealing her true form. "So that's what you really look like..." muttered Harold with a grin. Huh, Eric thought. I never thought of the fact that she had a demon form....I see... Other than that he remained silent as he watched the battle between Emma and Kain take place. Hopefully she could buy them enough time to fully resonate together. Will I be bound in chains... [[wow! Emma looks freakin awesome in that form cool ]]

 Max nodded from the reflection of the blades as he began resonating with the others. He could feel their souls as they connected and pooled their strength. The Emma girl had changed into a giant cat. He didn't like cats.

Never again... Now that they were all linked up, Harold looked back down at Dara. "Right, do the chain cutter thing or whatever," he told her, eager to attack the enemy and take him down. Will I be bound in chains...

Seeing his energy attack do no damage to the dark substance, Divine smile and vanished before the vines could hit his barrier. Appearing higher in the air above the dark matter, Divine observed the way the dark matter moved and how the vines reacted to its movement. Hovering their for about a few seconds, it would seem as though Divine had something in mind. Holding up his lance in the air, a small black orb would appear before it and actually grow smaller and smaller, until it became the size of a marble. Pointing the lance at dark matter, Divine fired the marble-sized orb right at it. Once it reached about three feet of the matter, the small orb expanded quickly, to the size of a miniature moon. If it should make contact with the substance it would be burned away immediately, but somehow Divine didn't seem to concerned about that.
With his attempt to pierce her abdomen negated, Kain was suddenly hit by Shira's pulse and was knocked sideways, but would dig his right foot into the ground and stop his body from moving, "A nice sneak attack." as he stopped his movements, Kain saw Emma envelope herself in blue flames and then transform into a demonic cat. "Interesting" Kain muttered as he gripped his sword tighter and quickly held it up in front of him, trying to block Emma's tail. As the tail hit his sword, it would not break but the power behind it was more than enough to crack the sword and send Kain shooting backwards, his body looking like a rag-doll. Kain ended up crashing into a small hill-like formation comprised of rocks. His body had been indented into the rocks, looking on, Kain could feel all of their souls joining together, thus giving them incredible power. However, knowing that he was in trouble, Kain did not seem to be in a hurry to stop them.
Atticus had successfully managed to protect himself from the claw, just as he did, he would feel all of their souls resonating with one another. With his hand in Shira, Atticus sighed, "Be more aware of your surroundings." he told her as he transformed back into weapon form and continued resonating with everyone.

Everything seemed silent for a moment before a laugh could be heard in the air and black orbs would begin appearing all around Divine. They would grow and then suddenly explode, unleashing powerful pulses of energy from all directions.
