Naano had closed her eyes while in Ryan's embrace, and at his words her eyelids rose slowly. What he said was true, she would most likely do something that could possibly hurt her, Ryan, or anyone she loved. Most of all, any rash behavior could ruin her chances at revenge. With a single misjudged decision the culprit could slip through her fingers. Her eyes were locked with his and she said solemnly "You're right, I'm not ready yet.".
She wanted more than anything to know who had done something so horrible to Rebecca Lynn, but she wasn't going to allow herself to mess it all up.
She placed her hands just below his ribs, His skin felt cold against her touch as Naano spoke "I need you to promise me that when the time is right, when you believe that I can handle the truth, that you'll tell me. If me knowing now could lead to my vengeance for Becca's life being unattainable, then I don't want to know yet.". Her chest hurt at the knowledge that Naano would have to wait longer to know the suspects for Becca's killing.
"I trust you Ryan, more than I've trusted anyone before. And I know that you will realize when the time is right."

With their lips connected and Ryan's arms wrapped around her, Naano's hands gently slid up his bare chest. But she was careful with how much pressure she put against his icy skin, making sure to not hurt him. One hand was pressed against his neck delicately as the other caressed his cheek in an affection manner. She parted for a moment as she brushed some hair from his eyes. In a soft tone she whispered to him "Then don't resist.".
Naano placed her lips upon his again, and this time wrapped both her arms around his neck as best she could. His embrace made her feel so safe, like nothing could hurt her anymore. As if anything did happen to her, Ryan could make it all go away. She had never felt love like this, and it added to her new found strength. Naano moved her lips from Ryan's, but they were still almost touching as she again spoke softly to him.
"Ryan, I love you."
And Naano elongated their kisses.

Naano's eyebrows rose in acknowledgement of the impressive combo. She tilted her head to the side slightly and mapped out the field before them. Everything seemed to go in slow motion as ideas spewed in her mind and trickled down into separate sections. Use a status with a physical? Or two front on attacks? Tactical moves, which ones? Combinations flew through her mind until she called out "Mizu, dodge as best you can." The Floatzel stood his ground, prepared to swiftly avoid anything he could. Luckily for Naano, her Pokemon was graceful and quick but wouldn't be able to dodge every hit. "I want you to use ice fang, then Whirlpool."
Her tone was calm, but had a hint of excitement in it.

Naano made her way to Ryan quickly, but steadily. He began to protest and shoo her off but she flicked him in the head gently. Mizu had become very weak; not only from the curse but from the Night Shade and Naano returned him. With her attention returning to Ryan she eyed his current wounds. "You alright?" she asked cautiously. Even though she questioned him Naano knew that Ryan would just nod it off. "Ready to continue?" Unable to help it, here eyes glinted with worry.

"Firefly?" Naano raised an eyebrow at him in an amused, and flattered, nature. The kiss reassured her some, but she'd make sure to keep an eye on his status. She returned to her battle spot and let out Eva. "Espeee~". Her Espeon cooed towards its trainer "Eva no, face your opponent...". Tilting her head in confusion the Pokemon made her way toNaano and weaved herself in between Naano's legs. Naano chuckled and picked the Espeon up, having to place her in the center she balanced on the balls of her feet as she explained to the Pokemon. "Remember the first battle we had?" at her Pokemon's nods Naano continued "Well it's like that, but right now. So you have to face towards Ryan." Pointing Naano couldn't help but burst out laughing at the wonder in her Espeon's eyes. She was so childlike. As she stood up and pat Eva's head she returned back to her position, still giggling.
"Alright Blondie, you first."

Naano looked out towards her battling Pokémon. Eva had let out a cry of pain from the thorns that ripped at her skin and sent a pleading glance towards her trainer though the sand. “Eva…” Naano’s heart seemed to have been punctured at the glance. She was in obvious pain and had no previous experience with battling. The candid Espeon was wide-eyed and scared.
“Head up Eva, come on now you can do this. You’re strong and resilient, and I believe in you. I believe in you!” At her words Eva’s composure seemed to have changed completely. “So now, Confusion and Psybeam! Stay agile!” The Espeon did as was commanded and sent two separate beams of various lights towards Crow and then increased the distance between them. To Naano’s surprise, Eva then hunched her shoulders and circled the Cacturn as if it was her prey. Baring her teeth the Espeon growled deeply “Espeon, Espee” (“You’ll have to do better than that.”) Each step she took was careful and had optimum amounts of grace embedded in her paws.
Returning to their side conversation Naano nodded slowly "Seems like so long ago..."

Naano face palmed at her stupidity. Letting a psychic type against a dark? What the hell was she thinking? "s**t...". She could always pull out Eva; there was honestly no way the Espeon could win against the Cacturne. "Alright Eve, return." To her surprise, the Pokemon burst right back out of the Pokeball. "Ahaha funny. Yeah no, get in the pokeball." Growling, Eva turned her back to her trainer. Raising and eyebrow Naano once more made an attempt to return her, to no avail. A scowl spread across the girl’s face. "Espee! Espeon...espeon." ("Wanna bet?") Eva called out to the Cacturne.
She had allowed Naano's pep talk to make herself cocky. As an inexperienced Pokemon she felt that even if she was a psychic type, defeat wouldn't be so swift. "Eva. Pokeball, now." Naano's gaze hardened. She didn't want her Pokemon to be so badly beaten down, her defeat would break her confidence down too far. Once more the Espeon refused and continued to circle the Cacturne. Without any orders, she attacked with a simple Quick Attack. It, of course, had little effect. “Damn it Eva! Wait for my orders!” Naano yelled out. The fragile Espeon yelped suddenly as yet another thorn hit her. Then she flew back as Crow slammed his fist into her with a poison jab. As her body hit the ground it was obvious that she was now ill from poison. The Pokémon shakily stood up “Eva, no! Return!” Somehow she once more managed to escape and return herself to the field.
Lifting her head up high, she staggered forward and used Morning Sun. A fourth of the Pokémon’s health was re-gained but this wouldn’t help much in the long run. Naano ran her shaky hands through the strands that fell from her messy bun. Once this was over she’d have to train Eva the most. She didn’t think, nor did she listen to orders. Her entire team could collapse if she ignored Naano, and that wasn’t something the blue haired trainer was going to let happen.
