"Well, alright then." Said Eric in an awkward tone. In about half hour, he had prepared the most bizarre soup he's ever seen in his life. Well, he sure wasn't hungry anymore after preparing it. There was an odd smell coming from it too, but he doubt that bothered Mina any. As far as was concerned, it was a recipe for disaster, her child thought otherwise. That was everything Nina wanted.

"Here's your soup Mina, I think." Said Eric as he handed the bowl over to his pregnant companion.

Eric blinked, to his surprise she actually thought it was good? Well, who was he to judge. "Uh, I'll just take you word for it, if you don't mind." He said in a flat tone. He scratched his his over the whole thing and muttered under his breath. "I'll never understand cravings..."

Eric tilted his head some and smiled back. "You're welcome Mina. I'm glad you liked it." He stared at stomach, Nina was satisfied and had decided to take a nap, more than likely to awaken in the middle of the night to bother her mother with late night activity. Eric walked over to Mina and picked her up in his arms, carrying her to their bedroom.

"Looks like you're not going to move much the rest of the night." He said on the way. He sat her down, sitting beside and placed his hand on top of her distended stomach. "Can't be how fast things have changed, not just the pregnancy, everything."

"Only a little bit more than I thought you would." He chuckled a bit and nodded to his question. Eric blushed when she placed her hand next to his. He began gently rubbed her belly and answered he question. "It's only been four days. Everything began to change in under a week's time." He looked to her and smiled.

Eric nodded his head, Mina would be luck as a Duon if that is certain. "I think that might be the case, just look at your progress. It's amazing to watch." He lowered himself to her belly level and began talking to the unborn child nestled in her womb. "Don't grow up too fast Nina, let your mom enjoy your younger years for a little while."

Eric looked towards Mina's face, then back at her belly. Crawling a bit closer, he placed his head on the side of her tummy. "This is as close as we can be for awhile, Nina. You have anything to say to me?" Asked Eric, he could faintly hear the heartbeats of the young one inside, companied by her mother's slower heartbeats. It was amazing to say the least.

"Sounds just like it had at Dr. Zane's. I can hear her heartbeat still."

"Yeah, she sure will be. I bet her mama is going to train her how to beat up the school boys that try and tease her little girl." Said Eric teasingly. He yawned, if he stayed like this for much longer he'd probably fall asleep on the spot. In his defense, he thought today was a tiring one.

"I wonder how much she'll look like you. We're in for a lot of surprises in the future."

Realizing it was definitely time for bed for them both, he shifted himself to lay down next to her. "Oh, I believe Nina will. But will she be a Mini Mina, from head to toe." He chuckled at the thought of a pint size version of herself being taught how to use a sword no bigger than it's wielder.

"But I suppose this is a conversation for tomorrow." He held Mina's hand in his. "Goodnight, Mina."
