Liv's heart skipped a beat in her chest as his hand slipped just slightly lower on her back. His increase in confidence as they continued to dance was a little amusing and endearing, and she could feel it in the way he began to lead more strongly. She was a little taken aback by his next words, even with the teasing tone behind them. This wasn't the first time he had brought up the subject of her becoming a nurse, and she had thought about it in her own time now and again since his first mention of it. Though it had just been a joke, she looked up at him and answered sincerely, "Well...then I think I would have to try. This isn't the first time you've mentioned it, and...well, I have thought about it a bit."
She glanced over at the covered tower that was her cake, "Yes...it is, I'm sure. I think this entire evening was meant to be. Jerry really put a lot of effort in to make this night special for me," she looked back to him and bit her lip, "I'd attempt to repeat that, but I know I would butcher the pronunciation."
Jerry had finally gotten a break from cooking for people, and was checking to be sure Liv was having a good time. From his perch he could see she was dancing with the new doctor he had already heard about from her more than once. It didn't take him more than a few seconds to hurry over to the DJ and force him to change the song. He snuck back to his post quickly and continued to watch, giving himself a pat on the back for his immeasurable tact.
As the song changed, Liv looked around a little and let out a small 'oh' of surprise, since it had happened in a way she felt was a bit sudden. She looked back up at Mishka and smiled a tiny bit uncertainly, wondering if he would want to continue to dance still.
