This was the first time something like this, has happened to him and it was apparent that he was afraid of what might happen to him. "Why don't you do as I say, for once?" he asked as he stood up and walked towards the lake, the madness level increasing slightly with his every step. Turning back, to look at her, Atticus' face was cold and emotionless, "I think it would be best if you would just go. I have no further need for you, little girl." Atticus said in Sanctum's voice.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ With Shira at a farther distance away from him, Atticus would walk into the lake. After he had gotten as far as he could, Atticus held out his arms and fell backwards, allowing for his body to sink into the lake. As his body sunk, Atticus soul would seem to undergo a sort of transformation, it was no longer the scarred and damaged thing that it used to be, it would now be brighter and full of light, almost child-like. while this happened, a second soul would appear above the lake. That soul was darker and more twisted than that of the one below the lake.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ As the black and demonic looking soul floated over the lake, it would react to the bright and angelic one that was under the water inside of Atticus. seeing this, it was not hard to deduce just whose soul it was. It seemed that Sanctum and Atticus' souls were finally split from each other, but along with Sanctum's departure went all of the demonic energy and powers that Atticus had gained. Hovering there for a few more seconds, Sanctum's soul would turn darker and darker and then it would just vanish, along with the madness and demonic energy. Seconds later, Atticus, unconscious, would float up to the top of the lake, his soul shining brightly as if he had been reborn.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆••• Shira watched what occurred, as her mind seemed to wander with if Sanctum's soul was gone now or not, she saw Atticus float up to the surface of the lake and took that as her cue to get him. She quickly ran into the water and managed to grab Atticus and bring him back to land. She laid him down and checked his pulse real quick before sitting there, breathing heavily from a mix of retrieving him as well as running around minutes before trying to search for him. What was all that....? she wondered as she now had to worry about the possibility of Sanctum wandering around. She shook it off and decided to focus on Atticus who still seemed unconscious. She waited a few more minutes before lightly shaking him "Hey, you need to wake up. I can't carry you all the way back to your home yet. The kiss lasted for a few seconds, afterwards Atticus embraced her, "It's nice to see you to Shira." he said as he seemed different from before. "Why are we here so late at night? Why are we wet? What exactly happened here?" he asked her as it was clear he had no memory of what just happened. Standing up, Atticus looked back at Shira, still smiling, "Well whatever happened, it seems like it wasn't that much of a problem. Let's go home." he stated holding out his hand. Atticus showed no signs of pain or even fatigue, it is as if everything that happened before this moment never existed.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

If she would use her soul perception she would see that his soul was way different from what she was used to seeing. With that same kind smile on his face, Atticus would grip Shira's hand tightly, and walk with her, "I really do enjoy holding your hand." he told her. Shira walked along the lake, looking around with a small smile on her face. I know it has been a year... but it feels like forever since I have been here. she thought as memories of this place ran through her head. She knelt down near the water then and looked down at the reflection. She made a face at how short her hair was, still not used to seeing it like this. "Change can be good I guess... all of that hair was getting in the way anyway." she muttered with a laugh as she stood back up. This was coming from a girl who changed hairstyles very often though so there was no telling if she would stick with this hair style. She went back to walking then with hands in her pockets I wonder how everyone else is then... she thought as she tried to imagine if anyone looked different and if so how. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

It would be the presence of someone she have not seen in an entire year. As she approached the presence, she would see a tall figure standing near the edge of the lake, peering into the water. The man had long black hair and wore strange clothes, that appeared to have come from some foreign country. His eyes were a bright red and full of life, while the soul of the man was pure white. Overall the man had an very powerful and bright aura around him, almost like he was an angel of some sort. Hearing Shira's footsteps, the man turned his head and looked over at her. Holding up his right hand, the man waved at her and smiled, "Long time no see, right? Shira?" he asked in a deeper yet familiar voice.
