Fi'o, attacking Hus

Fi'o, needless to say, was not pleased to be grabbed when she was so close to victory. Not that she would have been pleased at any other time, but that made it especially infuriating. Screaming her rage and frustration, even as her dragon reappeared and did the same, she tried to throw the knife at the wounded handler in one last desperate attempt to finish her task.

((Forfeiting the knife permanently to do this, obviously. If it is acceptable.))

Cepheith: Speaking to Plexith and Halith

The gold snarled, eyes still fixed on the building her rider was trapped in. She couldn't get to her and it was frustrating! Cepheith was only willing to wait so long before she put her threat into action.

A green darted down below, heading towards the building and Cepheith couldn't take being up in the air any longer, folding her wings and 'falling' to the ground, snapping her wings open at the last minute to heavily backwing in and land beside Plexith. The Queen could barely stand still, feet moving and wings partially folded while her tail whipped about behind her. Like the bronze, there was a deep rumble vibrating up from her chest.

Thank you, Halith. Very much. A small bit of the raging red started to fade from her eyes. She lowered her head and bumped Plexith with her nose. How is your rider? She asked quietly.

Narisa: Speaking to Ceta, Eliza, N'mol, and dragons xD

Her breathing was labored and her back hurt. Even more so now since she landed on the ground. Slowly moving to a standing position, Narisa stared coldly at Tomen. She knew that one more well placed hit would probably keep her down. And she couldn't afford to have that happen.

She was trying to formulate her next plan of action when she heard a dragon. And next thing she knew a green was picking her up gingerly. A heavy sigh escaped Narisa.

"Thank you." She murmured to the dragon, that she recognized as Halith.

Finally, it looked like the man that had been attacking her was done for now. And the arrival of reinforcements was a grateful sight. Narisa smiled at Cetalese and Eliza, a small tired chuckle escaping. "No...apologies necessary. I'm thankful...for Halith's assistance."

On her own feet again, Narisa winced, feeling the sharp pain in ther back as she straightened. "I think I'll be alright. What about you? And everyone else?"

I want you here, mine. Now.

Narisa glanced at N'mol. "If...you three can handle the rest in here, I will stay with the dragons." She gestured towards Plexith and her own gold that was coming in for a landing. "We'll help carry any firestone gathered." She added, wincing and walking - or limping slightly - towards Plexith first. "You've done well. I promise we'll move as quickly as we can so you can go to your rider."

When her dragon landed, Narisa moved towards her and leaned heavily against the golden leg. Cepheith's snout lowered to rub against her gently before she took up a protective stance to guard her rider.

At any other time Plexith would be absolutely overjoyed at the attention of Cepheith (Especially since Pipith and Scarath weren't around to try and steal it) and that wasn't to say that he wasn't glad for it now..it was merely in a different manner. While fighting with the others had been important Plexith had been fighting an inner battle ever since D'lin had been taken away, that Cepheith thought to ask after D'lin and offer him comfort was a kind and wondrous thing to the bronze and while he'd liked her before it had perhaps been for the wrong reasons - she was gold, he was supposed to like her, for perhaps the first time Plexith began to view the golden queen for who she was and was a bit surprised at how much more that made her in his eyes. No longer a just a tool to his own ambitions but perhaps a friend? He was grateful for her concern and perhaps a bit ashamed of the way he had viewed her before. Of course he was still Plexith and he wasn't about to admit this shame to anyone - he'd keep that little personal insight to himself. 'He will awaken soon I think, I feel his mind stirring slightly' The bronze replied in a relieved and grateful voice.

How close they had come, many of them to loosing their's? Plexith did not wish to think on this thought, he was not ready to face the darkness of between forever - but he had almost had to do so today as had some of his comrades. When Cepheith's came towards him after Halith had released her Plexith lowered his head to huff at her softly in response to her words, he would be most grateful for such a thing.

Action/Defending Herself

The knife struck Hus hard in the shoulder causing her to stumble and fall on her back with a startled gasp as she hit the ground. Blood from her wounds soaked the dirt beneath her as the handler lay still her breathing going shallow as the baby wher nudged her side still screeching trying to get some reaction from hers.

Suunath, landing, releasing Dinah to go and help Hus

Just before Suunath went Between to take Dinah to justice she heard the cry from the baby Wher, she looked and realised that it had been the Wher and her Handler that had been trying to help Hers from the other Wher. Snarling she turned and landed, awkwardly on three feet and released Dinah, she thought the woman unconcious so felt it safe to do so. Rushing over she flared her wings, making a grab for the now unconcious Wherhandler and her Wher to take them somewhere else. "Do not worry little one, Yours helped Mine, so i will help both of you" she said gently "May i lift you both and take you somewhere safe?" she asked the little Green, she didn't want a panicking Wher on her claws.

Hussk

Mine Bleeding. Bleeding Bad. So much blood. The little wher whined nudging at the handlers side. She could just barely feel Hus in her mind straining to stay awake.

Need help! No make it. Need Help Now! Hussk whined licking her handler's face tentatively. While she wouldn't have minded the gold taking her handler if it meant saving Hus. She doubted Hers would make it that far without immediate attention.

Suunath, bespeaking Hussk, bespeaking nearby dragons

Suunath hunkered down a little and nosed the little Wher who had tried to help Hers Someone will help Yours... Do not worry" she reassured, then turned her head to see if there were any humans with dragons "If there is someone not busy, this person needs some help" she sent to any nearby dragon. Hers would have told her to just leave them to deal with each other and to focus on other things but Suunath felt she should at least show some effort since the little one and her human HAD tried to stop their fellow from hurting Hers.

Responding to Ivanhoth/Fi'o

Tyeth roared as Fi'o threw the knife and shook her slightly to try to throw off her aim, but it was too late. The knife struck home even as Ivanhoth returned and made demands of the Bronze, tearing Tyeth between two unbelievably wrong actions.

Tyeth's eyes blazed orange as he evaded Ivanoth's attack and turned to face the dragon. YOUR RIDER?! The woman's behavior became even more unacceptable. DO NOT DARE TO THREATEN ME. Your rider tried to KILL a woman without cause! She has betrayed the weyr, as have you! She will answer for her crimes, as any resident of Pern would, and you will not avoid the punishment! Your threats show that the two of you have no control or concept of what is right. Your thoughts are confused and you will wait until we have all calmed to find out how your duplicity will be dealt with!

Tyeth spent the time of his speech prepared to avoid Ivanhoth's next unbalanced decision to attack him. In the meantime, N'mol arrived and Tyeth turned part of his attention-- though not his eyes-- to that.

Assisting Hus

N'mol jumped at the shout in his mind, the shout of something not human and not likely dragon, and turned back to see Tyeth holding what he assumed was the rider of the Brown aloft, the Brown hovering threateningly, and the prone form's Green wher. Suunath presided over all, and N'mol's jaw clenched. There had been so much fighting, so many others injured; they didn't have a healer, the Greenrider-- Akaya?-- was the closest and she was dealing with K'en and B'nen, both of whom were badly injured themselves.

He hesitated, looking back at the building behind him where the final handler waited. A hand on his arm drew his attention and he looked into very green eyes.

"Go," the Greenrider suggested, her face a sea of calm. "Eliza and I can handle whoever's inside and we'll call if we need help. Go help that woman."

N'mol nodded and left it to the Greenrider and Eliza, darting back in the opposite direction of where he wanted to be. However, being Wingleader meant doing what needed to be done, not what he wanted to do. If the riders could handle it, then he would go where he was needed. He filed away for later the need to ask that Greenrider who she was. Something to do when there weren't still people injured and

When he reached the writhing wher and her handler, he quickly assessed the situation. There was a lot of blood.

Tyeth?

She threw the knife. He sounded irritated on the verge of angry... and sheepish. An odd combination, especially coming from Tyeth. I was not able to stop it. She will needed more help than the others to patch the wound. We must find her a healer when there is time, and get her to safety. She defended Suunath's. She is on our side and her actions are commendable.

Can you calm down the wher? N'mol asked as he approached and slowly began to kneel next to the body, holding out his hands in a "no harm" gesture to the creature so it wouldn't attack him.

Suunath has already done so. She will not harm you, she is merely frightened and worried she will lose her handler.

The Brown?

Tyeth's voice was dark. I will deal with him. You do your work, N'mol, and I will do mine.

Assured by his Bronze, N'mol began undoing the fastenings on the woman's clothes, enough at least that her outer layer could be pulled away from the shoulder stab and he could see what he was working with. From other dark patches on her clothes, it appeared there was more damage he would have to worry about as well, but he'd handle one thing at a time.

"Are you conscious?" he asked Hus as he quickly removed his own coat, and began pulling off the linen shirt beneath. "Handler? Can you tell me your name?"

Grabbing the discarded knife off the ground, he cut strips out of his shirt with little care for their size and wadded some up to press against the wound on her shoulder.

((This will not heal Hus. It will simply stop her from dying ICly. N'mol has no bandages to heal with.))

Cepheith/Narisa: Speaking to...a lot of people, lol

She was much calmer now that her rider was at her side. No longer somewhere the gold dragon couldn't get to her. Cepheith was still angered that Narisa was hurting, though she was trying fairly hard not to show that to anyone. She crooned softly to her bonded, nudging her closer before turning her attention back to the bronze beside her as well.

I am glad to hear this. Cepheith said warmly to Plexith rumbling affectionately. He was alright and his was going to be alright. Let Mine and I know if there is anything we can do to help. She offered after a silent nudge from Narisa.

Narisa herself was panting and leaning more heavily against Cepheith then she wanted. But shardit! She was worried about the others. Was Kindra alright? She'd started out near her fellow goldrider, but amidst the battles had lost her. And D'lin...she knew from Cepheith that he had been removed from the battle and taken to safety. Cetalese and Eliza were also alright as was N'mol from Benden.

"W-What's...the status on everyone else...?" She asked of her dragon.

The Queen was quiet for a moment. Suunath assists a young wher and her handler that have helped us this fight. The handler is injured. Suunath's was taken to safety, like Plexith's. Tyeth's assist the handler as well. Tyeth deals with the traitor-brown. The last turned into a growl.

Nodding, Narisa stood straighter, gritting her teeth against the pain. "Check on Cetalese and Eliza. Tell them we are ready to take on any firestone they can grab. Ask N'mol if they need assistance getting the wher and her handler to safety." She paused. "Actually, see if Suunath is able. She needs to get to her rider." As did Plexith, though Narisa wasn't sure if the bronze would go short of Cepheith ordering him.

Speaking directly the the humans, Cepheith relayed what her rider wished. Halith's. Velath's. My rider says we are ready and willing to carry whatever firestone you can claim. Please be careful. To N'mol and Suunath, Tyeth's. Are you able to transport the handler and her wher with Suunath? If you are willing, Suunath. This place is still dangerous. We must get the young one to safety.

Lifting her head, Cepheith sought out the golden form of Suunath, to make sure the other gold was alright. And to take a slow look around their surroundings, scouting for any signs of danger.
