Better... but still not good enough. Hunting without traps so wasn't her thing. Frossa let out an irritated click, and focused her attention back to the water. ...And she reeled in a massive one! Cheering and sticking her tongue out at those still hunting, Frossa hauled off her impressive catches. Hivestuck  Check out the size of these! Oh dear, that wouldn't do at all! She had to do better than that if she wanted to make up for her dreadful performance in the water balloon fight (which tottally wasn't her fault, by the way!) and scavenger hunt (they really expected her to pick up trash?).

She was only just creeping along! Others might have thought it was great that she was getting bigger catches each time and not getting smaller, but that wasn't enough for Khanda! She wanted to win! The stupid landdwellers were catching all the big ones!

Well that was interesting. Minist gazed at the bits and pieces of her reel laid out in the sand. Such a simple mechanism, but so very effective! Oh wait, she was supposed to be fishing, wasn't she? Well she didn't have a very effective rod anymore so she skipped over to the drone and picked out a harpoon for herself. The drone looked at her curiously. "Reel broke." she said simply as she headed back to her spot and waded a bit into the water. She had to be careful not to get too deep. Anything above her waist and she might be in trouble. Oh well, time to test this thing out.

Whoo-hoo! She snagged herself a big one! She wasn't much for ranged combat, but she certainly felt more comfortable lobbing this thing at her prey than waiting for it to nibble on her lure.

Oops, looks like she got a little too excited and just threw her harpoon at the first sign of movement. Oh well, she was getting the hang of this. She get a bigger one next time.

That one was of an O.K. size, but they were trying to get the biggest catches. Minist squinted as she tried to look through the glare of the twin moons and into the watery depths.

Her arms were starting to feel a bit sour as she drag her next catch onto shore and boy was it a whopper! The yellowblood was feeling pretty good about herself as she yanked her harpoon out and got ready for another shot.
