Nia Phoenix Wonyky I feel so alone, no one else is on Tython. I don't know what else to post besides to have the security attack. Do we have anyone that is waiting to join? Please tell me..... It gets so boreing, and too peaceful. I'm so sorry we had to leave you - I so feel guilty, but I had to follow orders Its ok, I'll just have to figure something out. Like getting someone else to join to become a jedi so that I have someone (or something) to interact with.

That's what NPC's are for lol Doesn't exactly work, most NPC's life expetency is about 5-10 posts depending on how fast events are happening.

That's what NPC's are for lol Doesn't exactly work, most NPC's life expetency is about 5-10 posts depending on how fast events are happening. He's right, an NPC's death, even an important one, means d**k squat in the grand scheme of things. It takes a PC's death, and usually one of spectacle to really make the players see the threat, and the glory, of a game. Traditionally the GM has the burden with orchestrating this death. For instance; In my current star wars game, (which got a rocky start but it much more smooth now that the players are accustomed to the new settings) the party decided to get themselves a second ship when they boarded a smugglers vessel to retrieve a stolen weapon. I warned them not to split up early in the game but our mixmax pilot without a ship was determined to have one of his own. The ship was his, to bad he failed his checks to find the silent self-destruct. His new character is much more detailed, more well thought out and balanced. AND the party tends to have a healthy respect for sticking together.
