Nar Shaddaa - Cantina
---------------------------------

Looking at Kad, he frowned and looked back at the frenzied crowd. "I don't want to talk about losing my buy'ce.." He watched as the droid made his way towards a certain group. He started moving towards, only to be intercepted by barabel. He was momentarily distracted as a gun flew across the room, and then a force blast was sent threw the room. He paid for being distracted as the barabel swept it's tail and tripped him.

Growling, he rolled to the side and stood up. He smiled and pulled his Besk'bev from his belt. Twirling it in his hand, he swung it as hard as he could into the barabels jaw knocking it unconscious. " This is fun vod, but I think we should get out of here..Especially since my face isn't hidden.."

Nar Shadda- En route to Star port

"Forget him! I remember everything on that disk, just pick a ship any ship." He said eager to get rid of the smuggler. "Heck, I'll hijack one if I need to. I've done it dozens of times." He said, not hiding the fact that he had hijack alot of ships.

Nar Shadda- En route to Star port

Corvin fired of a salvo of shots, impressed at the improved accuracy of the Je'daii's blaster but focused more on cover fire to enable their escape. Once he got outside, he force-jumped to the roof to get out of the line of fire, and began scaling the rooftops back to the star port.

"Now that's not very nice, Vic!" he said, landing in front of them. "This way!"

His copilot lowered the ramp at his approach, and he gracefully leaped up to it well before it made it to the ground, the engines already blasting hot air to the ground. "Come on!" He turned and extended a hand out to his new traveling companions.

Nar Shadda- En route to Star Port

Locolvictum rushed up the ramp and past corvin. He went and searched for a somewhere to sit down. The first place he found was the cargo hold, so he sat down in there on a crate and waited for the ship to jump into the planitary orbit. He wasn't exactly happy though with the new conditions as to what was laid before him. He didn't want a unknown facter such as the smuggler going with them, but at this point he didn't have a choice.

Nar Shaddaa - Corvin's Ship

Vic practically knocked her over in his haste to get aboard the ship. Smiling at Corvin's outstretched hand, she took it as he helped her on board. "Glad you made it - we were stuck with out you!" She made her way into the cabin, running her fingers through her long copper hair, her green eyes weary. Letting out a sigh. " Keep the blaster - a Thank you gift! " Touching the other side of her holster - I'm better with a lightsaber" giving him a quick wink.

"Do you have a bacta tank? Vic's been hurt"

She made her her way to the Twi'lek co-pilot and extended her hand -"Elyria Stone, pleased to meet you!" Taking a seat she smiled again at Corvin - "I sense the Force in you, have you studied?" I am a Temple Master and have studied under the best - when this is over, if you're interested you could come back with me and train? of course we'll have to wean you of those sticky fingers" .
she laughed softly as she caught his eye, extending her hand "May I have the disk?"

Mustafar
Citadel of the Mauler

The rodian that knelt before Jayul was still nursing the stump that had been his wrist. He came as fast as he could; but his wounds were numerous. "So this man came into the cantina, demanded to know who was sith, and who was Jedi; then when every moron stood up; he slaughtered them."

<Yes lord... *weeze* then he turned on the rest of the settlement. *wheeze* I escaped while he slaughtered them all!> Jayul clenched his fist and glared at the bug below him.

"You left your comrades, MY men! MY families! You ran away when you could have protected them!" His movements were like a twitch, and then the flash of crimson. The rodian's head thumped on the floor, his flesh still burning yellow from where it had been removed. "Clean this up, I'll see to this man myself."

Jayul took the fastest way there. He rode a hoversled over the edge of the molten lava fall that erupted under the citadel's gait. It was over a kilometers drop; the settlement was constructed at the base of the cliffs, next to and over the river of lava below.

The sled crashed into the lake and the force of the impact caused it to sink below the level in which the dispersed lava would return. Jayul leaped up out of the lava and landed on a balcony. The settlement was built into the mountainside, to protect it from the heat. The moment he entered Jayul saw the carnage. Hundreds of his followers had been slain. This was the work of more than one man. He moved swiftly searching them out through the force; he found one in an ally.

Jayul watched as this stranger slashed a helpless woman with a yellow lightsaber. Her death revealed the child she was hiding. The man moved to kill the child, but found himself yanked backwards. Jayul pulled the man out onto the street. He reached down and pulled the deactivated lightsaber from the mans hand. "You carry a Jedi weapon, but you strike down drunks and innocence. Ill honor you: tell me who you are before I kill you."

"So someone who is actually trained as well?'' The stranger pooled the force under him and tried to push himself up.

"STAY DOWN!" Jayul shouted! His voice carried the weight of authority in it, and the man was suddenly held down by the weight of the force. He tried to lift himself up but the more he pushed the more it weighed upon him. Jayul lifted the mans lightsaber up and ignited it so that the tip of the blade hovered an inch above the mans face.

"Last chance."

"To late for you!" He laughed once before Jayul felt the tingle behind him. He sensed a presence moving in fast and he was just in time. Jayul brought his own lightsaber up to block an attack that would have taken his head.

"Sith scum!" Shouted the newcomer, a Cathar was burning red eyes. Jayul dashed back avoiding a second strike. The distraction was enough for the first man to slip free and retrieve his saber. Jayul now faced two men with both force powers, and lightsabers.

"I bore of this, tell me who you are."

"I am Gerret, my Cathar friend here is Bogart. Were followers of Master Bogdon; he used to be a Jedi Master. Now we follow him and hunt down any sith we can find. This whole town is sith, we can feel the darkside. It's coming from you Sith, and it's time to meet oblivion!"

The human came first, rushing; aided by a burst of speed from the cathar. The second followed after and both men rained strike after strike down upon Jayul. He blocked and avoided each strike with ease, and enjoyed retaliating with his own power packed punches! The battle drug on neither man seemed able to force Jayul into a corner. A third "Jedi" arrived, and joined in. Now Jayul had to improvise his plan. Three streaks of silver lashed out from his back, and suddenly three lightsabers had ignited behind him.

He attacked with a ferocity driving the two would be assassins back. The third found himself occupied by blocking a phantom lightsaber that was striking at him relentlessly. He caught the first Jedi in the leg. A force blast knocked the second back. He waved his arm and two of the lightsabers ended the first Jedi's life. The third Jedi managed to destroy the phantom lightsaber. But he found himself facing two more; both of which took off an arm and his head respectively.

The remaining two sabers returned to their holsters while the Cathar Jedi got back to his feet. He looked at his fallen comrades and shouted. As he stood up Jayul pulled the second hilt from his belt. This one had a long strand of cable reaching off of it. He flicked his wrist to give the lightwhip motion, but the force guided it's strike. The cable glowed with the energy field of a lightsaber and wrapped around the blade of the Cathar's. The whip held his opponents lightsaber for a moment keeping him from blocking Jayul's final strike. Three Jedi lay dead at his feet, but something was wrong. He dropped his lightwhip and pulled a small + shaped weapon. He threw it down the corridor and red blades emerged from each end. The weapon spun so fast it looked as though it was a buzzsaw. Just as it reached a corner 5 men came running around it, all coming to aide the comrades they felt die. All 5 Jedi turned right into the lightsaw's path, and it made each man a head shorter...

NarShaddaa - Docks

XT-613 watched as people loaded, unloaded and made repairs to their ships. As XT-613 walked by she looked at all the different ships and identified each ship and its features. Most smugglers nowadays look for requirements similar to the historical ship known as the 'Millennium Falcon'. Few ships had much of these requirements though, since ships were now banned from being produced with hidden compartments, hyper drives over a certain amount of speed, shielding requirements and the like. XT-613 came across one though with more similarities to the Millennium Falcon than was legal. XT-613 walked up to the ship and as she started looking around a man of six feet with blonde hair, thin beard, vest, combat boots and a red shirt appeared seemingly out of nowhere.

"Whadda ya want?"

Nar Shadda - Aboard the Epoch Wren

"Thanks" Corvin said, giving her a genuine smile as he spun the blaster forward, then back as it slid neatly into his empty holster. "And of course I've got a bacta tank - I'm no fool!" He reflected upon the fate of his old blaster and immediately regretted his choice of words.

The Twi'lek co-pilot looked up from the cockpit upon seeing Elyria, unsurprised to find Corvin had brought a woman aboard, but "A Je'daii! Well, this is a surprise!" She brushed her leku back self consciously before taking Elyria's hand and introducing herself, "Dea'avril."

"Got a guy in the back who's wounded - you're always better with the tank than I am, do you mind?"

"Sure, Corvin... no problem." she replied with a smirk, heading back to the cargo hold.

Corvin took the captain's chair and began to fly the ship out of the atmosphere, preparing to jump to light speed the moment they were clear. He motioned Elyria toward the now-vacant co-pilot seat and replied "Self taught, mostly." He deftly flicked the disc out of his pocket and over to her, and turned to face her as he added "Mostly because I'm not giving up the sticky fingers." He winked at her in a manner that many had found charming in the past. "Any chance Vic told you where we're going?"

Dea'avril made her way into the back to find Locolvictum waiting. "Heard you're injured. I can help."

Nar Shadda- In orbit

When Locolvictum felt the break out into the planets orbit, he stood up to head towards he cockpit. Thats when Twi'lek entered the cargo hold said,

"heard you're injured. I can help." Locolvictum smiled at this and replyed,

"Well its my hand really. I nearly lost it today." He said while undoing the wraping on his hand, reveling a very deep cut on the back of his hand.

Pure Neimodia- the Dancing Dreeka

As the other patrons drank and danced, Stokhli looked around, glancing again at the clock. Hmm... he thought. I could have sworn I'd said... suddenly he spied A'kire at the counter. He paused, hesitating, but seeing as the Togruta was no where to be seen, the only option was to sit with her and wait for him."Hey!" he called as he walked to the bar. "You don't suppose our big red friend has gotten himself lost, do you?" he laughed as he took his seat, motioning the barkeep so he could order. "Hey give me the house special!" he turned to his partner, who was staring intently at her drink. "Why so glum? We're just a couple days away from a huge payoff! Eat! Drink! Be merry! Its on me tonight!" he sighed looking away. Anything to cheer up Captain Buzzkill... if I never see her again after this, it'll be too soon!

NarShaddaa - Docks

"I want my ship back and I believe it might be somewhere over Mustafar. If you agree to take me there I will pay you handsomely."
"Ah, ad droid with attitude, I like that. How much can you pay?"
XT-613 flashed two thousand credits before putting them away. "300 when the ship takes off and 1700 when we get there."
"Fine, meet met back here in thirty standard minutes."
"I will do so."XT turned around and walked away, thirty standard minutes wasn't very long of a wait.

Pure Neimoidia - Dancing Dreeka

Tearing Away

A'kire looked up from her drink when she noticed Stokhli take a steat right besdide her. He was in a rather upbeat mood which made this whole situation awkward and even more undesireable. She would need another drink and soon.

"About time you showed up. What happened? Couldn't see the sign for the cantina through the crowd or something? Davth's here. I saw him when I walked in, but maybe he locked himself in the refresher by mistake or is trying to make a move with some of the women here. You know how guys like him are. Flyboys. They think that since they pilot a ship that they're sex symbols. Haha! They've been huffing fumes too much. You don't really trust that lying b*****d do you?"

She downed her drink and ordered yet another few from the bartender. While the Twi'lek wasn't intoxicated, she was inadvertently allowing her attitude and inner anger to resurface in bits throughout the conversation. Her mind wasn't on the free food and drink. All she could think about was her own paranoia instilled by this hastily formed team and that holocron which was the object of each of their desires.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just keep up your happy little appearance you sniveling rat. Just tell us what the next plan is so I can finish my damned drink and get some sleep. I have the furball keeping his eyes on you so I can monitor Davth. You won't know it but nobody's leaving my sight. Hope you ******** can sleep well at night. If you're not careful as to how you go about your business here, I'll make sure you never get the that holocron. I'll make sure you won't leave this planet while you're still breathing.

"I'll take a Kommerken steak, I guess. Keep the booze flowing. More Reactor cores for me. Gimme about four. Whenever the Togruta returns give him the strongest thing you got."

A'kire chuckled to herself as she lit up another cigarette, her mind starting to return to that dark place it often seeks comfort in. She toyed around with the idea of getting Davth or Stokhli drunk enough so that they might spill some info. If it would work, she'd be off of that planet even sooner.

Tythos Space

A long journey to to Tythos finally comes to end. The light green-bluish planet glisstens in space as the ship gets closer to the outer rim of the planet. Small finger prints grip onto the glass as curious eyes grow wide. Cari, in her travels with her master, have never seen such a beautiful planet as Tythos. The Force felt so calm around the planet putting a smile on her lips; she couldn't wait to place her feet in the rivers, or mediate under the waterfalls. The light blue color suggested that was indeed water on the planet. She loved nature and wanting to train in the woods, valleys, anywhere that was peaceful.

Cari turns around leaving the sight and going to her bedroom, where the other padawan sat, but as she walks down the long hallway her a sudden memory pushes itself into her mind..

A distant memory...filled with sorrow, pain, betrayal, love and loss flicker right in front of Cari's eyes, the walls from the ship changing into a forest scenery, she could feel the sun's warmth, hear the birds singing, and small creatures jumping in the medows; but it was the two figures that stood face-to-face that made her take a step back. A tall blue twl'iek, with a brown Jedi robe, and gentle green eyes was talking to, a dark figure...yellow eyes, black cape, black boots..the very same Sith who..wanted her..their voices were quiet for a moment before becoming normal. Her master looked serious at the smiling Sith Lord:

"You can't be serious, master, you know as I this place is the safest for Cari's training. Her powers with the Force is the most miraculous thing to happen sense the last great war. You're telling me to do something that will destroy her completely. She can't know the truth, you just want me to tell her my secret so she could join you.." The Sith simply nodded as he took a step closer making Kraine flinch

" Regardless of what you think Kraine, the child needs some.."motivation" to unlock her power."

" Her power is of healing, what use will that do for the Sith?"

" You are still so naive when it comes to power, haven't I taught you anything about our ways? The Force is strong in her, to strong for a young child to truly understand. Her strength and natural ability to the Force will grant us much power agasint the Jedi. Think about it, the Dark Side aiding her in new abilities of healing, bah! Healing! She is not a medic droid, she could use mind control, lighting, even the use of elemental Force like moves, most Sith take decades to learn such power, but for her..She could master the Dark Side with ease in just five years..or less.." The Sith grinned as he rubbed his chin.

Kraine pulled out his light-saber and growled in the Sith's face with such swiftness Cari couldn't see what happened.

:If you dare touch her I will indeed show you want you have taught me!"

"The student threatening his master? You must be a fool.." A black glove thrust forward sending Kraine flying backwards.

"Go on, train your little brat, I will return and take her once she has grown more mature, enjoy your time with her..because I will take her..by force even if that means to destroy you."

***
The memory ends with a sudden flash and flicker. Cari staggers to her knees shivering from what she saw. Did the Force grant her a vision from the past or was it her Master calling out through the Force? She didn't know, but now she understood, her gift could also be used for evil. Maybe the teachers inside the temple would know how to deal with this Sith?

Epoch Wren - Leaving Nar Shadda

Dea'avril came forward to take a look at Locolvictum's wounded hand, gently cradling it with one hand and hissing with a sharp intake of breath as she surveyed the damage. "You look like you've got enough metal already" she said nonchalantly. "How would you like to go for a swim in our Bacta Tank?"

She led him from the port cargo hold to the starboard, which seemed largly devoid of cargo, save a few crates marked as rations. Instead it had a felt-covered card table toward the bow surrounded by four un-matched chairs, and a workbench against the starboard wall laden with parts for the half-restored old speeder bike that occupied the center of the room. An old bacta tank in the aft corner stood proudly next to a sturdy looking cot and a counter that seemed to cointain a passable field-medic kit. "We haven't got a lot of fluid left" Dea'avril said apologetically. "Corvin's new line of work gets him shot more than usual - so I'm gonna have to stitch you up first to save on materials. Have a seat."

Epoch Wren - Leaving Nar Shaddaa

Laughing as she caught the disk midair "Thanks - the Je'daii way is not to steal - besides the fact that we must win Vic's trust if this mission is to be a success." She put on the headgear and took over the co-pilots position. "I'm actually expected elsewhere, so I would like to dispense with this as quickly as possible."

Checking the scanners and flipping a series of switches she left Corvin to take control.
"No clue - unfortunately he's not very forthcoming - In all honesty I think this is just a trap." looking over at Corvin, her green eyes serious "but I can't afford to risk ignoring it. If the Holocron should fall into the hands of the Sith, it would really set us back. We've gained little ground in the last millenia and our numbers have dwindled greatly." Smiling at him now - "but we've gained a network of Friends..." placing her hand gently on his arm and giving a sly wink - "I hope we can count you as one"

Removing her hand and facing the control console once again
"Vic mentioned an underground security base...hmmm..where would you put one?" laughing as she looked over at Corvin. "Maybe Dea'avril will have better luck - at least getting a direction for us to head in, few men are immune to the charms of a beautiful young Twi'lek"[/i]
