THESE TASTE LIKE CHALK BUT FREE CANDY IS FREE CANDY.
Sin knew she probably ought to move away from these games and socialize a bit, but they were just so entertaining. She felt the urge to give that Whack A Hunter another go. Plus she was oddly fond of that Ghost Man game, it was a challenge. She paused and eyed the candy dispenser, well...it had finally given her a nicer message maybe she ought to give it another chance. She popped out a piece of candy and flipped it over to see what it said. Hrt Burn. Well her heart certainly burned for someone, but he wasn't around, she sighed and ate the candy...hmm chalky.

Umi walked back up to the Whack a hunter game. She really liked this game and could play it nonstop if she was able. She picked up the mallot and started wacking away at the hunters that popped up.

Whack a hunter, a game that proved too irresistible not to try again and again. Her score had been pretty consistent so far, but Sin hoped to improve it. She examined the game for a moment trying to see if there was a pattern of somekind, but the hunters seemed to pop up and down with completely random timing. She took up the mallet and readied herself...

Ouch! Sin paused for a second and eyed her nails, that was close...she almost broke one!
She returned to the game, but her score was lower then average after her reluctance to hit harder and risk injury.

Shaking out her hand after that rough whack during her last game Sin decided to go for something a little less physical. She approached the Ghost Man machine with a slow grin and set her fingers on the controls.

Oh the challenge, she squirmed as she managed to get her ghost man around the entire maze perimeter without issue. Now to go for a fear capsule, she eyed where the cheese wheel of doom was and frowned, it had a pretty clear path to her ghost man. She tried to turn and it turned, she ran one way, it went around to get her. She went for the capsule, sadly it was one step ahead and she watched her poor ghost man be devoured.

Umi waited her turn to play Ghost man and give it another shot.
"No" She failed to pass level one yet again. "This game must be rigged." Yes thats it. Thats it, they rigged the game and is video taping her failures so that they can put it on some candid camera show. She turned around in circles. "I'm not no fool, I'm not gonna fall for this."

Popping the piece of candy into his mouth, Jericho soon made a face as it tasted absolutely horrible. He had half a mind to spit it back out in fact. "Blech. Well you aren't missing out on much anyway. That tasted awful," he commented. He might need to grab a quick snack from the table to wash away the bad flavor he just tasted. "Just... toss that in the trash or something I guess," he said.

Shehk laughed again as Jericho's face contorted into something that said to her 'What is this?'. She nodded at his suggestion to follow, tossing the chalk-candy towards the closest trash she could see, making an innocent face when she missed completely. "Oops...." She looked up to Jericho again, then away, laughing.
"Seems unlike Riley to get candy that would taste bad.....unless this is her way of keeping herself from camping out over here and eating it all."
Shehk still had memories of the spookies that Riley had...well..eaten all of at the Open House the year before. It was a half-amusing memory, that day. She wasn't sure what she thought of the other half of it.
"What do you want to do next?" She looked at the other games that were still out and about.

Or that could have just been his tummy. They hadn't yet visited the refreshment table, after all. He fished out another candy to stifle it.

"Yeah.. that could be it. I'm... kind of surprised she hadn't raided the sweets at the refreshments table yet."Or perhaps she did and he missed it. Hm. Jericho glanced over at the food table now to see if she was there but nope. She wasn't. Not right now at least. Shaking his head, he turned his attention back to the various games all around. There was the whack a hunter game not too far off. Slowly, he made his way over towards it. The thought of hunters alone were starting to make him antsy once more. Shifting his wings, he picked up the mallet and started up the game. When the little mini hunter things popped up, his eyes went wide and he furiously started to smack away at them. "DIE!" he snarled. Score: 7

Shehk also glanced towards the food table to see if something had caught her companion's eye, ears flicking up, then back down through a range of different emotional cues. She didn't see anything out of the ordinary herself, and her nose wasn't saying 'excuz me, something is up heer' to her, so it seemed like things were under control.
"She probably did it before the party even started." Which was fine. Riley could have all and any sweets offered to the Pricolici, Shehk didn't eat them.
However, Jericho's intensity at playing Whack-a-Hunter did earn a small start from Shehk as she watched him, her tail seeming to twitch every time one of the little dolls popped up. Wow, they were sort of..irritating looking, now weren't they? Once it seemed he was done, Shehk reached to take the mallet from him.
"May I?"
She wanted to Whack her a few hunters too, and it seemed like every time she saw Caelius's face she just got a little bit angrier, smashing his little figure with a lot more force than any of the others, even going as far as to actually growl.
She could see why it made Jericho angry, because it was making her borderline livid, nearly recoiling entirely after the fact.
"Jack, it really looks a lot like him...." that horrid man. That horrid man who had killed Red and grabbed her....... she shivered just a little bit.

"It does," Jericho growled while staring at the little machine. It was tempting to destroy it right now because of it. Or rather, tear the thing open to get access to the dolls and incinerate them all. Slowly. One day he'd like to do the same to the actual people the dolls represented. "We would like to burn them all..." he added while glaring down at the game, starting to get riled up again.

There was that 'we' again. She was able to recognize what it was a sign of now, since he'd more or less told her, frowning lightly and reaching out to pat his cheek. "Maybe after the evening is over while we're doing clean up, Riley will let you, mmm?" she suggested.
"If you do, I'd like to watch." Shehk added. Really, she just was trying to prevent Jericho from doing just what it was he was wanting to do - she could only damage control so much.

Rumbling lowly, Jericho considered this before slowly relaxing. "Yes. I'll have to asssk her later. It will bring great pleasure to see these things burn." he growled. This sounded like a good idea to him indeed.

Phew! That seemed to have done the trick, drawing her hand down his face and neck to pat his shoulder. "That it will be." Really, she felt like Jericho was just needing to vent a lot of frustration he was having in general - at the hunters, at his...their? his? the... The condition. It would be good to get him the outlet.
"Mmhmm. I can't imagine her saying no, not unless we're going to use it again in the future." Which..she couldn't see Riley wanting to reuse something instead of just getting something new and infinitely better.
Though if Riley was also......
She was thinking too hard.
"Do you want to play more games or do something else? It's up to you. I'll do whatever you'd like."

Anna, blissfully unaware that her own familiar had signed her up for a table later on, was hovering around the games again. Actually doing something was so much better than awkwardly doing nothing. The witchling turned the crank of the candy machine again, just in case some of the candy in there didn't taste like dust.
King of... pain? What did that even mean? Anna stared at the candy for a moment, trying to decipher its meaning, then put it in her mouth.
ewewewewewew okay maybe it meant don't eat this or your mouth will hurt with disgusting.
