Sethrian was the first to reach Archaic Sciences. He wasn't sure what to expect now that Vivian Sinclaire was teaching it. he hadn't made it to the the last class so he missed out on that assignment. This would be his first time studying under and and, actually, he hadn't even seen her since the stat of the year when he had to help with the growth formula gone wrong.

Somehow, he foresaw more explosions occurring during Gray's absence.

With a deep sigh, he took his seat and waited for the others to arrive.

Sethrian smiled slightly when Renivere entered. He remembered, then, that this was one of his favorite classes specifically because she was also in it. "Hello Renivere. I--" He trailed off when she proclaimed she had something for him and produced a teddy bear that looked suspiciously like her.

She was giving him...a bear? That was kind of embarrassing but...cute. He chuckled softly, reaching up to tuck her hair behind her ear. "It's no substitute for the real thing, but thank you. Did you make it?" He examined the bear carefully, turning it over in his hands. "It's very well made."

Now Vivian had to take over this class. It was official. At least for now. Until Professor Gray decides it's okay to come back and when he does... well, Vivian would probably give him a long lecture about responsibility and morals. Except, when a person doesn't have either of them, it would be a useless lecture and a waste of time. And Vivian was lazy. So she probably would just welcome him back warmly--glad to get this class off her responsibilities list.

But now she had to teach archaic sciences. She was older than the science, so she knew a bit about it. Well, she wasn't sure if she was older than the science. Vivian was pretty archaic herself, but its not like she was the brightest thing ever in her childhood.

Vivian entered the classroom. "Class, I will be taking over for Professor Gray. If you don't know me, then I am Professor Sinclair." Vivian said. Oh. Only three people. This wasn't so bad. It wasn't as big as her potions class. Small classes were the best. Vivian moved to the front of the classroom and stepped up onto a chair so people could see her more easily.

"Well, before I go off into the lecture for today, I should probably mention that my knowledge of archaic sciences will probably be a lot more different than Professor's Gray. Maybe. I don't know how he taught you. But the archaic sciences that I've been taught are known as magic circles and item synthesis. So those will probably be the topics we'll be brushing on while I'm teaching." Vivian explained.

"Sometimes my words don't make any sense when I say them..."


Renivere smiled. Well, she's been smiling the whole time. "Er... I gave it apparel?" Renivere said, a little embarrassed. "I was in hoping of making a wring for the wrist, but time was short and I was unable to find an adequate store." Renivere answered, a little embarrassed.

She held her Sethrian Bear fondly. "It is true that there is no real substitute, but if ever practicing to make words work before the real face, a bear is a good friend to speak with." Renivere said. Oh no. That was kind of lame. She needed to come up with something else. Obviously practicing how to say something to Sethrian was just... lame-ish. "And in a sense, we may always be together." Out of all the dramas she watched, she had to pick that line? Why that line? The stalker line? Really, Renivere? Her face started to turn hot as she looked down.

Professor Sinclair came into the classroom and started giving a mini lecture and then Ayu came in and started to fawn over the bear. "Yes, it was a gift from me to him." Renivere said to Ayu, glad to find a change of subject. "In a sense... I was still doing art during art class at least...."

[Rose: *CREEPED OUT* Uh......... Only if they're 'special' cookies! scream ]

"The gift you got me is perfect, Renivere," Sethrian said, looking down at it. Well...he had to admit it was cute. "Though I have never been given a stuffed toy before, I am grateful. Especially due to the fact that you made it for me. I will take good care of it." He frowned slightly. "Did you...not go to art class?"

Renivere skipped art to go make him a bear? That was sort of unlike her--not that he was going to yell at her for it considering he was guilty of skipping class himself. He was just surprised since she was generally very responsible. Maybe he'd ask for more details later.

"I suppose I should give it a name..." He frowned. He wasn't good with naming cute things. Perhaps something practical..."Renibear?"

((Wanted to get one more post in beffore we skip/end class. Shall we have Seth and Reni go to lunch or something?))

"Cyril did?" Sethrian asked, his face darkening slightly. "Renivere..." he sighed. "About Cyril. He...you know he's told me that he has an interest in you. An interest in..."

Ugh...awkward. Very awkward.

"Perhaps I can walk you to your next class and we can discuss it?"
