Luckily, there was just ground underneath, so Obito and the zamboni were both ok. Gai and the kangaroo helped Obito with the zamboni, and Gai suggested that...

They all seek and destroy Kakashi. The reject kangaroo was against this.

But the reject kangaroo reminded the idiots of their mission, so Obito and Gai hopped onto the zamboni, hoping to ride it back to Japan, but couldn't figure out how to use it.
