Before never saw it coming. No, really, he never saw s**t coming because, well, blinded at the moment. There was some yelling going on and then he felt a shove and he was sent down to the ground. Oh god, please don't land on top of Tika!!! He can't deal with the silly crushes at the moment. Not when they were all likely going to die permanently according to Boss-dude-Caelius.
"Dying's. Not. Cool." he grunted, pulling Vanna to him while he felt for Tika with the other. He managed to catch the yellings of someone, asking them all to work together. From the vocabulary used, it didn't sound like a Hunter.
Work together? What? Unless it was a direct order from his superiors, Before still didn't trust these creatures.

Perhaps it was karma for hitting the beast's tail just now, but when it moved again, the tail swiped at Lizzy, knocking her away. There was a loud crack as she hit the back of her head against the rocky surface. Her vision turned blurry as she tried to sit up; sadly, her body disobeyed her. The world turned monotonous, which scared her.
"T-Tess..." She called out, hoping that the ghoul could hear her, "Mot... Help... Hel... Vieve... Lattice... Help..." And then she blacked out.
Coincidentally, she was also lying on top of Mot. Magically.

Redzilla just didn't seem to have an off switch as she rampaged through the crowd and went on the prowl for something. Damien only saw pretty colors as went sailing through the air from a tail that just didn't like him. "SO PRETTY!"
Even that moment of bliss was cut short from gravity's rudeness and dropped the dazed hound's head on a rock. An audible groan from the boil was heard as he wavered onto of his new solid pillow and the colors faded from a mixture of pink, green blue and yellow to grey and all of its spectrum. "Hey, who killed our skellyvision?' he mumbled out and dropped back onto the floor and the rock, rather ungracefully.

Bix had been so far back that he'd missed Before getting injured. Mina was still complaining about feeling bad and he was now, in the mess of students and hunters, looking for his friends. He pushed his way through the throngs of people. Many of the Halloween students decided to fight back and others seemed too affected to do much of anything but scream. He spotted Tika, Before and Gale ahead and he was running towards them when everything went gray scale. It was a bit of a shock, causing the hunter to trip mid-step. I told you.. I told you I wasn't feeling well. She's an abomination. Something that should not be. It'ssss ruining everything! She keened unhappily in his head. The albino hunter had just about reached his friends when the beast decided to rampage. The tail hit Gale and sent him flying and Bix, trying his best to catch his buddy (he happened to just be in his flight path), was hit with Gale's prone form, both of them skidding across the ground. When they came to a stop, neither of them could get up. Not yet. [[ HP: 37 / 40 --- Bix is stunned for this turn! Target: -- Damage: -- Weapon Charge: 0 / 3 Charge Attack: Pinions of the Dawn Star; Swift Strikes. Bix fires an arrow into the sky which then splits into many arrows and rains down on the enemy. ]]

Jerry wobbled as suddenly Candace was leaning on him, his mouth parting to say something supportive, something suave, something badass when suddenly the creature lurched forward- with a yelp, he practically threw Candace to the side, just as a massive paw came down directly on the skinny hunter. He groaned as the foot came up again, his glasses cracked and his head spinning....  HP: 32 - 5 = 27

Move your a**, was what the Hunters' leader had ordered. But Before didn't know which direction to move said a** towards and he wasn't about to leave Tika or Gale.
Silly Before, trust me again... Vanna whispered.
Blindly, Before got to unsteady feet and did as his partner asked. Vanna, unlike Before, had her loyalties to her partner. And she wanted her partner to live and if bringing down not-Aria upped his chances for survival, well, she would go for the legs.
"T-Tika, wh-where's After?" he asked, before the air was stolen from his lungs as Vanna collided against his torso upon her return.
Target: Legs (Not Tess')

There was no time to stand around and chat with her team mates but Gale pushed her and Before to the side. The monster was on a rampage and it didn't seem to care WHO was in its way. Gales push had been enough to keep her out of harms way. She landed safely out of the monsters reach. But now her vision was black and white. "WHAT THE HELL?" She got up and dusted her self off. "Before! I think your blindness is contagious!" She wasn't joking, she was pissed. Of course she knew this vision wasn't coming from Before but it was irritating none the less. It made her feel like a dog or something. But that seemed to be the least of her worries. Gale seemed to have not had a completely safe landing. He wasn't okay! The teen hunter glared at the monster before looking back down at Gale. He'd saved her life! Before on the other hand was like her and alright. Except for the blind thing maybe. But there was no time for that now. Who ever was shouting that they needed to focus on the enemy at hand was right! There was no time to fight among them selves. Tika didn't miss Bix's epic fail trip. She'd avenge them all. All of them. Her team. Where ever Ariane was, Tika hoped she was alright. It looked like it was up to the girls and a blind Before now. "Gale is down Before. But hes okay. We need to fight."

Many things happened. Ariane didn't do much. Ariane avoided the beast's rampage like a boss.
She wished she could say the same for her teammates.

The short reprieve from the previous wave of fire was short lived. The trembling had started again, and by the time the frost demon looked up at the behemoth that was ploughing through the canyon, she had been completely knocked over by the giant.
Edel skidded a few feet back and grazed herself pretty badly. But that wasn't her main concern now.
“Lattice! Get out of the way!”
The ice barrier she erected earlier was far too flimsy to take such an impact from the rampaging Professor. What if- no, no. Edel pushed herself to her feet, refusing to be a pessimist now. They needed to stop her, but how?

This was a whole new level of WTFery as leon tried to swipe at the monstrous form that took up a good portion of the area. it felt a lot like a mob trying to take down a dragon. Pretty damn close if he had anything to say about it.
I heard that.
Ether way the boxer wasn't happy with the lack of results and wondered if his chainsaw on its leg felt like a safety pin jabbing you at the heel. "Not the right time for this Nid, fight to survive!" he grumbled back before hollering at the others around him. "WE FIGHT TO SURVIVE!" Clearly the creature must have a disagreement for that as it snapped its jaw at him, grazing along a shoulder blade on its way to find a target. "You b***h!" he cursed outwardly and proceeded to chase the lumbering thing down. He was going to get it back for that one way or another.

Despite how worn down she was feeling…she’d battle to the very end now, as that was the valkyrie way! Hel summoned her spear, leaning on it for a moment as she heard her name called out. The reaper blinked as suddenly seemed to lose its color, and for now the world was painted in a palette of grays. Her gaze shifted to Lizzy, and the ghoul grimaced as the spider demoness seemed to be temporarily stunned, and scanned the battle field once more, she found at the same had happened to Mot. What was Xiu up to as well? Not good…as much as she wanted to go to their sides though, she needed to do what she could now, and that was aid in the attack.
She briefly thought about how Shun, Mitsu and Riyo were faring, and what kind of trial they could possibly be facing right now as she swung her spear at Red’s tail.

Night had just barely made it away from the hunters when Red let out another insane growl, his head flinched at the sound before he watched her leap and move. His first though, get the hell out of the way.
Just as she came barrelling past, Night tripped, watched her go over him in slow motion and banged his head on a rock below. Owwwwwwww, He thought as he sat there, unable to move.

No! No no no no no "Lizzy!!" Tess shrieked, immediately rushing to her friend's fallen form. She heard the words but couldn't bring herself to leave Lizzy like this. Of all the names, the manananggal only recognized Mot. But but but Tess didn't know the cowboil well enough other than that he had been Lizzy's date to the prom.
She scanned the mess of bodies, and saw... lying beneath Lizzy was "MOT!" Even though the pumpkin pill wasn't really hers, she hoped her teammates would understand why she was force feeding the pill into the boil's mouth.

Mai was still on her knees pressing her hands against the burns on her side when she saw the fires disappear. The pain was staggering, but she knew she needed to move. As if to punctuate this fact, a chilling *snap* drew her attention to the beast that was towering over all of them. Oh.. Jack on a stick... she need to move now! First scrambling, then sprinting, the ghost just barely managed to clear the monster's path unscathed.
She staggered a few steps more before she finally stopped to watch Red's frenzied charge behind her. What was she doing? She was hurting everyone! The ghost overheard someone yelling that the students needed to work with the hunters to bring her down. But.. Red was faculty.. Mai couldn't attack her, could she? Would she be expelled? Oh, what the hell was she thinking. Seriously, there were more pressing issues at hand.
Entranced and horrified, the ghoul watched as the beast trampled student and hunter alike. She experienced a creeping dread that seized her throat. Something needed to be done, or she feared that something else terrible might happen.
Mai jogged shakily toward the fray as she watched the color drain out of everything. Red was now a beacon of glowing runes in the gray, as if someone had painted a target on her. Well.. the ghost wasn't sure how she felt about this sudden development.. but at least the pain in her head had subsided.
