It seemed a lot of people had paired off to fight. Watching it all going on his hand finally slipped into his pocket and landed on...a starseed. Pulling it out the horror was confirmed as he gripped the object in his right hand. He'd killed someone again. Worrying his lip he hid the item away in the inside pocket of his coat again. He knew it was good what he'd done, take one more fighter out of the mix. But it was still a life...
Biting his lip he raised his brush and focused on defending the great youma.

"We need to help who?" Celsus asked, brow furrowing in bemusement as he waved his arms again. His skin was starting to sting and burn where the little buggers had bitten him - a horribly unpleasant sensation that had him itching to bathe, to put some medicinal balm over his face and neck and arms to soothe some of the pain. But he followed the new page towards her friends, moving at a swift pace.
One of the two people that were fighting the locusts off was recognizable - the somewhat negative Felix that he had met while he was Fritz - but the girl was not familiar to Celsus.
And it appeared that this new page knew them - but did not, it seemed, understand that they would not recognize her in this form. Virgo had told him about the glamour, but this new page appeared unaware that her friends would not recognize her
"Erm - " he started to say, then realized he did not know her name. Celsus put a hand on her shoulder, turning her towards him. Around them the din of the fight was still ongoing, the sounds of yells and the scent of blood high. They could not stand still for too long - it was not safe.
"They will not recognize you," Celsus murmured in the girl's ear. "Do not tell them who you are."
The locusts had thinned, but there were still several buzzing around his head. He batted at them angrily, attempting to force them aside. Then he turned to face Felix and the other girl.
"Are you two all right?" he asked them. "Are you hurt?"

The bugs were nearly gone and with it was the cover they provided. Close range would have been out, but up close and personal, not to mention wanting nothing more than to destroy her, made him want to tear her apart. To do that, one had to be close. She came at him, and while she gripped his shoulders and brought her leg up, he reached out. The hit to his chest was hard and knocked the wind out of him, but then he wrapped his arms about her and with that, lifted up to flip her. One leg didn't make for perfect balance after all.

Scylla cursed as her weight was shoved off of Leto, the other senshi getting loose. She glanced at Hephaistos, noting he didn't look too beat after Leto's attempted assault, and then watched as her former ally threw herself onto her other... former ally. Maybe she could let them fight it out a little bit. Sell some tickets? Watching Leto, she realized something that she'd been holding out hope on. There was nothing inside of Leto to save. The Chaos filled her like a cup, overflowing, and it had probably happened to the rest of them too. Her tentacles slapped at the Great Youma a final time, and then slid under the ground as Scylla brought her power to bear. She had a few moments left, at the least to do this. "Scylla's Sorrow!" An arm erupted from the ground, going for Leto's waist. What was this, I hold, you hit?

Felicia seemed to be overcome with emotion as she too, looked over the battling crowd. Her vision seemed to linger on a few spots, but it was difficult to discern what exactly she was staring at. His words did little to affect her mood and to be honest, Felix wasn’t surprised. In a situation so grim, how was it possible to garner optimism without uttering a complete lie? He would likely die, but he would cling to the last threads of chance. If there was a possibility of surviving, Felix would latch onto it. It was human instinct to survive. She returned his smile with a ghostly one of her own, and he remained silent. “Do as you wish and think what you will. I don’t think I can change any of it.”
A page—a girl with familiar blond braids—and another male page with a familiar mop of red hair strolled up to them. He furrowed his brows as the female knight appeared to know his name. “I’m sorry, I don’t think we’ve met before—and I’m alright as I can be at the moment.” He tactfully left out the fact that he was pretty sure he was going to die and it was bumming him out really, really badly.

Keren stomped around the courtyard, continuing to swat at the cloud of locusts. They just wouldn't leave her alone!
Like a bat out of hell, Keren fled the courtyard and back towards the battle in hopes of shedding the bugs.

Cameron had to be one of the most stubborn, most sturdy civilians because he just refused to dead despite all of the situations that should end in his death. He should, but then how could he? There was so many awesome things that he, and only he could do. His desire to live was just so strong, so when push came to shove he was pushing you out of the way to get to safety. It didn't seem that he had to do that though because Cameron was just lucky.

The smile withered away as Felix continued, but she nodded, eyes rolling now to the knights that were approaching them, one of whom addressing the young man beside her as though she knew him. It made the high school's brows dip, and she once again crossed her arms below her breasts as she regarded the pair.
"Alright?" A dark chuckle bubbled but before she had a chance to bite it back for politeness sake, but she'd had just enough sugar coated niceness as she could handle for the day. "Do we look alright?" A snort followed, and she reached out to gesture at the battle field around them. "You see the bodies laying all over, don't you? We knew those people, and now they're all dead. Because you people couldn't keep them safe." Bitter? Maybe just a little.
Her lip curled, and she opened her mouth to say more, but before she could utter a word the strangest sensation came over her.

Princess Ares had been absent for the start of the battle. When she appeared, her powerful energy was somewhat masked by the stretches of chaotic bodies dodging in and out of those who reeked of order. It was unclear, at first, how she had even arrived. She had not been among those who rode the monstrous youma into the fray. Someone with keen eyes might have caught the glint of something dangling from the underside of the creature. A mirror. It was as if the youma had birthed her. Sort of. Heeled feet clicked on the rainbow road, and Ares was almost knocked backward by the trembling path. A scowl crossed her features. On closer inspection, the leader of the dark parallels looked a bit off balance. She was breathing hard, her skin was prickled with sweat, and her clawed hands would not stop shaking. Then she moved her staff in front of her. The Dark Brimstone Crystal was glowing with unnatural light, positively fuming with energy. Princess Ares had come prepared -- prepared to recruit new soldiers. With a snarl, the Princess of Smoke straightened up to her full height. "Let's even out these numbers," she hissed. Her crystal glowed brightly spewing out a purplish rectangle: a dark mirror. Without a thought, Ares sent it flying toward the nearest civilian, Felicia. It was a pretty lucky guess. After the magic mirror shattered over the girl and then absorbed into her flesh, a new warrior stood on the rainbow road. There was no time to learn the girl's name or her sphere. A guardian cat could see to that information. For now, Ares just needed a warrior. "Fight, soldier! These White Moon senshi are not our allies." Eventually, the girl would find out that she was the Senshi of Tumbleweeds. "Stick with the Negas. Stick with the other senshi like us. Feel for kinship." Ares' orders were clipped and quick. She had to keep moving, and this senshi would need to learn on her feet -- or die. Without another moment wasted, Princess Ares sprinted off in the other direction. (( Choose a senshi name! CONGRATULATIONS, BEEJOUX! You can handwave a guardian cat telling her who she is, my friend. Fight the battle now and worry about figuring out what her magical attack is tomorrow. ))

Fluorite was very obviously relieved to see her brother again - in one piece. She wasn't keen on losing him, not really, in spite of her speech from earlier.
Attacks where thrown, and she was doing her best to stop them.

Raven was still lamenting the loss of her bug friends, and let out that same keening sound as before, circling around a pile of them, hoping and wishing that she could make them live once again.
They were her friends. They were helping her. They were dying. Oh! Maybe they would be her friends here. Maybe they could plot against those awful senshi together...Her bugs! Her friends.
The sparkles still danced around the fallen creatures. When she felt a powerful dark force, she looked over. A new senshi? A new senshi...huhhhh? But this one was pretty! Black and pretty! Ah! She...
She looked over, going to the new senshi, dancing around her happily.
A new friend?

Valhalla nodded lightly to Pasiphae, glad that she was at least willing to let them stay by her and protect each other. It was formed as one unit that they would win out over all the s**t that was going on around them.
And he couldn't do much at the moment, but he took out his compass to twirl around his head and launch at the youma. He waited until it hit before focusing his energy on it and... called it back for the first time, watching as it reappeared in his hand. Huh, that would have been really useful earlier on. Maybe he was still at such a low level of energy because he really hadn't done what he needed to get stronger.
He was willing to try, though.
Valhalla nodded lightly to Nyx again when she joined them. "Valhalla," he introduced, thinking she should at least know who they all were. "And I don't know if you've met the others, but this is Ganymede and Naica." She seemed to know Pasiphae, at least...
And he was more than happy to see Europa! He'd been wondering where she'd run off to. He was definitely glad she seemed still generally well, all things considered. Hopefully she'd caught Naica's introduction as well.
With a few well placed swats, Sessrumnir got rid of all the bugs. Huh, that was easy. Maybe they just weren't interested in him?
Whatever the case may be, he wasn't going to just stand around and do nothing. He picked up a rock to throw at the youma. The sooner they killed this thing, the sooner they could go home.

Slowly he tugged his way up off the ground into a seated position glancing around, before he could really get a grasp of things Gunn was tumbling down before him. Leto clawing at her legs. Scylla standing around seeming dazed for a moment. He couldn't blame her though, he was still stunned a bit himself from the glaring light of fire. Suddenly things burst into motion, a tentacle was tossing Leto into the air holding her still, leaving Gunn laying on the ground. Stumbling up he reached down for Gunn grabbing her hand, he gave a sharp tug pulling her quickly to her feet.
Even as he did he whispered under his breath, "Liquid Steel..." his free hand suddenly had a flowing orb of metal bouncing around it, even as he tugged Gunn to her feet he flung it out towards the towering Youma; a vain attempt to slay the thing and hopefully keep it busy enough not to launch another blast of bugs.
"You alright Gunn?"
