Kerrigan Schwartz Codename: Knoxx Team: Omega Location: Frontier University Current Thoughts: Out For a Stroll Kerrigan waved to Peyton as she parted ways with the group, acknowledging that girl's calls after her that it had been nice dancing together. At least she wasn't leaving the new girl with a group of strangers, and it looked like Lillian was lingering behind. Closing the gap between herself and Roland, she couldn't help but smile as she got closer to him. It was only when she was at his side once more, linking her arm through his, that she caught sight of his gaze. Following his glowing eyes to the view of a man with a small child, talking to Cissa, she couldn't help but feel a small twinge in the pit of her stomach. It likely came from a few different things. First of all, this was really no place for a child - even one as cute as that little girl there. She thought back to the destruction of the mansion by the demons from Limbo, and how dangerous all that had been. Granted, there were younger students in the mansion, but this seemed…different somehow. And then there was the fact that Cissa had always wanted kids, but wouldn't ever be able to have them. The girls had talked about it a few times while having late night therapy sessions. After all, they shared everything with one another. It would shock some people at how maternal the Omega leader could be, though of course Kerrigan knew better. No doubt they would need to have some sort of talk about it in a more appropriate setting. Her attentions were drawn back to her date as he affirmed that he was ready to go on their walk, a grin spreading across her lips. Allowing him to lead her towards the door, she stooped only for a second to pick up the trail of her dress to keep it from getting caught between her heels. Laughing as he overruled the "bros before hoes" logic, she felt a slight heat of pink return to her cheeks. " Now you're just trying to make me blush," she teased back, gently bumping him with her hip as they walked. The topic of conversation then turned to the father-daughter duo that had not gone unnoticed. She nodded in response to his question, the cool of the night air falling over her as they left the venue and headed out into the grounds of Frontier University. Roland expressed his hopes that they weren't on the Omegas with them, Kerrigan giving an understanding nod. " I'm sure we'll figure something out. It would certainly complicate things, but at the same time, I don't think we could separate a girl like that from her father. It's not like we don't deal with a host of complications on a daily basis." Her tone changed from serious to more amused by the end of her thought. Dealing with complications was just part of their daily routine around here - surely they would be able to deal with this situation appropriately. Frost wouldn't have allowed him to transfer to the Omegas without some sort of contingency plan in place. And, Cissa would come up with something at the very least. Green eyes turned up to the sky as the pair meandered through the grounds, the redhead releasing his arm for just a moment so she could stoop to remove the black strappy sandals from her feet. Holding them by the heels in her free hand that also contained her clutch, while her other arm once again linked through his. He broke the silence by asking her to tell him something about herself, the redhead breaking into a soft laugh as she stole a sideways glance at him. " What can I tell you about myself," she repeated, as if trying to think of what exactly she should say in response. Her body drew mere inches closer to him as they continued walking, eyes lowering to the ground before she finally found the voice to speak again. " Well, let's see. I grew up at Fort Knox, which is where my codename came from, I'm the youngest of 4, all of which are older brothers, my favorite food is potatoes, and when I run, my favorite song to listen to is the Muppets version of Lime in the Coconut," she rattled off in quick succession, giving him another sideways glance. Her glossed lips spread into another playful grin. " I'm also having a really good time with you. You might even get a good night kiss, if you play your cards right." Her hand slid down the length of his forearm, fingers teasing his own before she finally took hold of his hand. Using it as leverage to spin around in her dress just in front of him, she drew his hand over her shoulder, leaning into him with a laugh. Maybe it was the alcohol allowing her to let loose, or maybe she was just this relaxed around him, but either way, it was a side of Kerrigan Schwartz rarely seen.

¨°o.O O.o°¨ Аʀcυs ζσҀąȶɨσɳ: Prom snack table, Nom nom noms? ȶȩąɱ: Alphas Prom Dress I missed you guys ^-^ ¨°o.O O.o°¨
Cammi smiled up at her friend, it was so good to be home. “Of course I missed you. Mostly I missed the sanity you bring. You know my parents, just picture my relatives and you’ll understand why I missed the X-Men so much.” Her relatives weren’t that bad, but there were times where it was safer to be with the X-Men than her extended family….
“You joined the Alphas?! That’s wonderful!” Thomas joked that Cammi should have talked him out of it. “Never! We’re a fun team and you’ll get to see more of my smiling face.” A coy grin curled up on her face and she nudged Thomas gently “And I KNOW you love seeing me whenever you can.” If anyone didn’t know their brotherly/sisterly relationship, one might think they were talking sexually.
Looking around after the Alpha conversation, Cammi looked back to Thomas. “Thomas, when was it decided that there would be a prom? I don’t remember them talking about it before I went out of town. Was it a spur of the moment thing?” It could have been for all Cammi was aware of. The X-Men could be rather ‘spur of the moment’ when they wanted to be, and a surprise prom was not beneath them in Cammi’s mind.
While conversing by the snack table (which Cammi had snuck a few crackers here and there. That bus ride was long!) another familiar face presented itself. “Aurelie!” Cammi more or less lunged at the blonde much like she had done to Thomas. “How are you? You look gorgeous, as always.” The telekinetic playfully shoved Thomas, saying that he enjoyed being an Alpha cause of all of the hot ladies on the team. “Of course. What man wouldn’t want to be an Alpha?” Aurelie also said she was happy to see Cammi in once piece. “Just barely.” The blonde replied. “The damn bus was so bumpy, I was sure I was going to lose my teeth. Next time I’m traveling by Amtrak or my relatives can just pick my a** up. And what do you mean dear? Here to stay at the Prom or here to stay at the institute?” Cammi shrugged “For the Prom, yes. My mother surprised me with a dress the minute I walked up the steps of the institute. Talk about ‘welcome home’ gifts.” She rolled her eyes, and then leaned into her friend, whispering. “Don’t tell my Mom, but my Dad said he would get me a game or something if I stayed and didn’t complain about it when I got home.” She straightened back up “But its not like I’m having a terrible time. I’ve missed everyone. And as for staying with the X-Men, of course I am. Where else would I go? I sure as hell am not living out in the stix.” Cammi was referring to her birthplace of Brockport, NY. It was a quiet town where all of her extended family lived, and according it her it was good for visits, but that was about it.
“But enough about me. How have you been? Other than Prom what else has been going on around this place?” she addressed both Aurelie and Thomas. While watching the girls dance out on the floor, she vaguely wanted to take up Tara’s offer to join them, the one she had given while passing Cammi on the way to go dance. However she wasn’t sure Aurelie or Thomas wanted to dance, both had passed up on the opportunity long ago.
Out of Character: Sorry for the delay, and the not so goodness, and the blah. And i'm sorry if I forgot anyone, its just been so long since i've posted as Cammi that it needed to get done T-T

╰☆╮ Name: Katarina Force ╰☆╮ Alias: Kali ╰☆╮ Team: Alpha, Apparently.╰☆╮ Ability: Shape Shifter ╰☆╮ Location: Academy: Garden, by the Fountain ╰☆╮
"Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold." ✬════━━┈┈┈☆┈┈┈━━════✬ “That’s a good boy.”, Katarina spoke to Eli lightly, metallic eyes flickering over him curiously—Wondering if he truly meant the apology with a question mark. She reached out to pat the top of his head…Wondering if the action would cause him to lose his newfound—Orange soda induced cool. Her gaze turned back toward their little spy, expression inquisitive…Quite like a kitten would eye a small mouse. She seemed to walk in an odd path towards them…Not a semi-straight line, like most would. Not the quickest path. Was she adverse to people as well? She didn’t mind that Eli had introduced her…Less work for her, in the edict book of manners.
Realizing that she was sitting in the light, she slowly pulled long chestnut colored hair over her shoulder to hide the puncture marks that went along her jugular—A vain attempt to hide the drying blood. It had yet to occur to her to change. Why ruin another outfit, when she was unsure if Gideon was done with what he’d started.
Vee asked if she was the cat that had circled about her feet earlier, and the little Italian woman smiled as she tilted her head to rest it on Eli’s shoulder—The motion just slightly catlike. “Meow.”
Straightening, she nodded her head at the dark haired girl—Taking it easy on her for the moment. Normally, she enjoyed giving people the run around…A game of cat and mouse… But to be honest, the former H.Y.D.R.A. Agent was exhausted…Hungry, and a little dizzy from the blood loss.
Games would need to wait their turn.
“I am—Though I prefer things of a feline nature. If necessary, I can be anything.”, Kat explained distantly… As if there were something wrong with it. Some, unfortunate fact that her mutation reminded her of…
Her statement wasn’t exactly true…Things like bacteria and single celled organisms were off limits to her. But it was enough that they could easily understand what her gifts were. She wasn’t used to being cordial about her ability. Few had ever seen her actual face outside of H.Y.D.R.A.
Show and tell that ended harmlessly was strange.
Gunmetal blue eyes slid over Vee again—Assessing her in a new way that wasn’t…Normal. Her gaze was cold, calculating…Such an expression didn’t belong on the face of a seemingly sweet, flighty eighteen year old foreigner. “You’re pretty. I might be you later.” The auburn haired agent sighed tiredly when questioned about why she hadn’t attended the supposed social event of the year. She moved, arms reaching out as she stretched…”People keep asking me that.”
Her answer was delayed, as her brow furrowed for a moment…Searching for words different, than what she’d told Eli. But there were none.
“I don’t belong.”

An imitation, a fabrication, a pretty fake, a counterfeit... An empty carcass behind the artist, is there a trace of innocence? ȻΩѶɆȾ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☥ Ωrchid Ⱥutumn Ωmegas Location: Nerd Heaven Thoughts: Seriously? ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☥ Orchid offered her floronic friend a playful pout when she warned her to be careful with the seemingly alien piece of weapons technology in her hand. ”Please, Farren. Aren’t I always careful?” She sent a wink and light chuckle in the floramancer’s direction. ”Besides, anything is getting shot at by me it most certainly will not be by accident. I could think of a few Alphas who could use more than a few extra holes in them. Maybe some of the other freshmen too, initiation and all that.” Certainly neither would be missed; really, the only Blues that mattered were the pretty ones, and to her there was a severe shortage of pretty ones on that team, even if their leader herself was something of a bombshell. She was, at the very least, an 8. Her mood took a more somber tone as Farren went on to explain her predicament to Forge. She absentmindedly fiddled with the various gadgets and doohickeys lying on the cart as her ears took in her friend’s frustrated words. She really did feel for her friend, and did not envy her situation one bit. If there was any other comfort she could offer besides her company, she would have gladly given it. Right now all she could do was be there for her friend, and that she would most certainly do. She came a little closer to the girl as she finished her explanation, placing her hand gently on the girl’s shoulder in a hopefully comforting gesture. ”Are you ******** shitting me, Apache Chief?!” she yelled out in clear incredulity. ”Is your ******** headband on too tight or are you just that ******** stupid? When someone is clearly in pain, calling them ******** delusional does not ******** help. You’re lucky I don’t choke you the ******** out where you stand.” Perhaps littering her speech with f-bombs and threatening the school staff was irresponsible, but right now she did not care in the slightest; the guy downright deserved it and more right now. ”And you know what? Weirder s**t has happened with you people. If she says she was a student here, then god dammit she was a student here. Isn’t it a policy for you scientist types to test out every theory before you completely rule anything out?”She stilled when she heard Farren’s whisper and turned to face her. She nodded as the floramancer spoke, acknowledging her words and fully agreeing. While she herself had no memory of the events spoken of, it could easily have happened before she became a student here. As for no one else remembering her, how many times had they fought against powerful telepaths with the capability to erase such memories? It was farfetched, but that was the order of the day for the X-Men. She trusted her friend’s words enough that she believed her. The staff had to give her the benefit of the doubt, for anything was possible in this world. It was just a few weeks ago that Orchid was part of the team that let an anti-mutant peasant live on to enact an oppressive law against the superior race, something she still could not believe. But immediately she could tell something was wrong. The floramancer appeared to be losing her balance somewhat. A look into her eyes told the story; something was most definitely wrong here, for she was getting sickly so very suddenly. ”Hey, chica. You okay?” She brought herself closer to her friend, offering her arms for support and to help balance the girl. She looked over at Forge, worried expression quickly replacing itself with one of absolute anger. ”Make yourself ******** useful and call the ******** med wing or something!” ☥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☥ This doesn’t feel right, feels like everything’s further away. Dead as the nightlife, hindsight, watching another mistake. You never feel right, long nights, following into the day. Pale as the streetlights, pure white, washing the color away...

"There is a war coming, are you sure you're on the right side?" Omega's Name: Brown, Farren Brown but everyone calls me Crazy
Location: Forge's office. Remarks: Sometimes, you need to step outside, get some air, and remind yourself of who you are and who you want to be. ╘═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╛
Farren touched her roommate's arm, in attempts to both stabilize her standing and to calm Orchid down a notch. The hair manipulator shouldn't be blowing up at Forge, it could escalate things far past the manageable level the floramancer would prefer them to be at. Farren heard her friend demand Forge get help from the Med-Wing, but it was filtered, softened, as if she was experiencing swimmer's ears. Swimmer's, that was the answer.
"I just need to get outside to fix this." She turned to the tables beside of them, eyes scanning desperately for anything to tide her over until she got out from under the mansion's roof. Farren's eyes lit up and she made a mad grab for the empty beaker lying on its side just on the other end of the table. The floramancer reached up to her head, patting it eagerly only to have a look of disappointment cross her features. Her hair had all ready absorbed the sprinkler system water from earlier. Her mind shuffled her memory of room's layout and the hallway haphazardly for another means; a water fountain, a sink, a bloody fishtank would suffice at this point.Orchid shifted beside of the floramancer, and Farren felt drops hit her from the movement. Immediately she had the answer."Chica, I need you to not move." Farren grasped a few locks of her roommate's hair and began to squeeze the remaining water into the glass she had grabbed from the table. She added as almost an afterthought, "this shouldn't hurt but if I tug too hard, sorry in advance."Forge's Page Forge's Quotes "At least I've chosen a side." Academy X: Our professors are just a bunch of mules.

Who can you trust in this place? In whom can I put my faith? If you're real then show me now--Who you are... How can I love without grace? Shine a light on your face... If you're real then show me now--Who you are... Code Name: Siren Team: Alpha Location: Frontier University (Three Miles West of the Academy) - Chaperone Ability: Sound Manipulation Singing: So much for not causing a scene. █║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║ Isabella hid a smile as the sound of a church bell rang in the air, turning her gaze towards the party inside—Watching people pass by through the glass. Even if she didn’t have much to laugh about… She still found some form of catharsis in watching others have a good time. Laughter tended to be infectious, no matter what kind of mood she was in. The songstress only hoped that it would catch…That it could, still catch. Hoped that throughout everything that had happened over the years, that she wasn’t broken.
“Boys should learn to let go of their pride, and be a little less insecure…Then they wouldn’t have that problem.”, the Colombian girl returned swiftly, smoothly—Without so much as batting an eyelash. The conversation was already slipping into something else…Constantly, she pulled the color out of things, as of late.
Her world was made of such depressing shades of grey…She didn’t know what to do with it. She loved color, light, and sound…The blistering heat of the hottest summer day. Sand between her toes…This new world was foreign, and she felt lost.
Isabella didn’t know what to say when he offered to take her with him, the next time he left. She believed him to be teasing, of course, and did her best to muster an expression a little less miserable...She couldn’t simply…Leave, like that. She hadn’t been much of a leader in the past few weeks…But it was still a responsibility that she couldn’t completely abandon.
“Hmm…Traveling all over the country with you? So long as I get to pick the radio station…”, she returned, pretending for a moment like it would be all right.
As if it could ever be a possibility.
Not to mention…He was right. The wait for the rest of the world to realize that mutants were human too was excruciating, all on its own.
Feeling alone only made it that much worse. “Neither do you.”
She scowled at him when he started listing reasons why she was naturally inclined to enjoy things of the dark and twisty nature. “Romance might be in my culture…But that doesn’t mean anything. Being inbred is in your culture…”
“And I’m pretty sure we already covered that.”
Her eyes rolled, but she couldn’t help but grin when her best friend threw another cheesy line in her direction—His expression soothing her ire just as quickly as it had come. He was just…Too much like an innocent little boy when he thought he was being cute. She chuckled as she stepped neatly into his side, walking with him, instead of ahead of him. “Oh mi amor…At least some things never change…”
“You never could find your way to a decent pick up line.”
Isabella spent much of the pleasantries that Gideon and Blake shared wishing that the floor would open her up and swallow her whole. This was not the place for her own personal problems…Not when she scarcely knew how to deal with them alone—Let alone in a crowded, public place.
Her excuses were watery at best…But she simply wasn’t ready. The songstress wasn’t sure which path to follow…To start over, or to try and repair what they had. How could she have a discussion, when she didn’t know heads from tails yet?
For as much as Scott usually gave Isabella leeway… She didn’t get off the hook as easily as one might think. She just didn’t gripe about her punishment. If she left the dance without a good reason before the allotted time, he would likely have words. She would hate to see the disappointment in him…It was worse than being disciplined. The songstress figured that a couple cups of punch wouldn’t put her out of commission—Especially since the dance was almost over.
She could feel Gideon watching her every move—Her every breath. Analyzing her in a way she could never hope to understand. Drawing conclusions that were no doubt, insane. It was maddening. The painful hammering of her heart in her chest made it hard to focus on specific voices. Her hand came to her temple, trying to ward of the beginnings of a headache…Every sound in the room seemed amplified. It took her several long moments to realize that she was doing it to herself. She was panicking.
Hearing Blake tell her bottoms up, she paused—Noting that she’d already downed her own drink, but was halfway through his.
“When I’m ready.”, she responded honestly to Gideon, not bothering to disguise her tone. What was the point? They’d stopped using their abilities to hold silent conversations around the time that Evelyn left…The only exception to the rule, had been for sweet nothings from across a crowded hallway.
But there was nothing sweet about this. It was all…unbelievably painful.
“Your girlfriend has been trying to get over being held at gun point by a shape shifter.”, Isabella intoned, feeling the phantom ache in her body—Even though Elixir had since healed the damage. Gideon would know that she didn’t much like Katarina right now--Both for her mutation, and he affiliation to HYDRA. She’d also been stuck to Gideon’s side since her arrival…Her words were sharp—But the volume deliberately controlled. ”She’s trying to get over being shot. Coming to grips with the fact that the bullet was meant for her head…With the fact that while she was unconscious, her team got the tar kicked out of them—Because she wasn’t smart enough to tell Mystique from some helpless kid.”
That admission might clue Blake in, to her initial reaction to him… Her questioning his identity. Things were never as they seemed.
“Your girlfriend nearly got her entire team killed. So forgive me for not wanting to discuss it here.”
“You aren’t an Alpha…You don’t have any business with me. If you need to report something—Report it to Narcissa.”, she spoke honestly, her eyes staring at an invisible point on the floor…They stung mercilessly, but she did her best not to make anymore of a scene then she already had. “You need to learn to follow the new chain of command.”
Blake stepped nearer and while she was grateful for his support…She was suddenly afraid. There was no source of her fear…Nothing, except the metal man in front of her. She knew Gideon…Better than anyone on campus. Granted, they’d been on different wavelengths as of late…But she -knew- him. The mask of calm composure that he wore was a lie. He was angry—Furious, if she had to guess. She wasn’t afraid of him. Even now, she knew he would never hurt her…
But Blake—The rest of the prom goers…They were a different story. She was…Deeply fearful, for them.
Even still, she didn't understand why he was so invisibly angry with Blake. He hadn't done anything.
Gideon’s claim that she was his only dance partner stung. For reasons that were both clear, and unknown. She hadn’t been that to him, in a very long time. They both knew it. She visibly flinched from the wording…Though she stood her ground. If Gideon wanted to take a piece of out Blake, for whatever reason—He would have to go through her to do so.
And that wouldn’t happen.
The songstress slowly started to relax when Veritas turned to walk away...Seemingly without a fight. It wasn’t that his presence was unwelcome…The topic of conversation, was unwelcome. And until things were sorted...He would only keep demanding answers that she didn’t have. Her gaze flickered back towards Blake as her shoulders slumped, saddened and defeated.. “I’m so so—“
Her apology cut off as Gideon’s parting words met her ears, through the crowd--Through the music. Her eyes widened as she grew still, salty water overflowing from her tear ducts against her will. Anger and hurt spread through her, faster than a lightening bolt, taking root in her bones.
In an instant her expression changed. Sadness became something unnamable. Not anger…Just nothing. Her form blurred, the edges of her body seeming to fray as she suddenly disappeared from Blake’s sight… Only to reappear several yards away for a split second, in which she again winked out of existence. It might have looked like teleportation, but she was only moving quickly. Very quickly. Moments later left her facing Gideon in the doorway… Staring at him, as if she didn’t recognize his face.
Her hand rose before she thought about the action, the sound of a sharp slap echoing in the air. It was immediately followed by several sharp snaps and pops. Isabella breathed in sharply, swallowing a scream that would have injured or deafened those around her. Cradling her hand to her chest her eyes turned away.
“That you can say that…Think that—Means that you never knew me at all. I was trying to figure things out before talking to you… But instead, you think me capable of…”, her voice cracked, and just as she’d arrived, she was gone.
Moments later led her back to where she’d started…Standing silently beside Blake on the edges of the room. She wasn’t sure if he’d noticed she’d returned. “I think Scott will understand if I leave early now.”
Her head remained low…Not wanting the rest of the room to see her ruined make up. She wanted to disappear. All night…She’d only tried to avoid causing scene…But that had been a pipe dream.
“My hand is broken.”
The word "hand" could easily be substituted with "heart".

Name: Leonardo Rossi Team: Alphas Location: PromGuess Who’s Back… Back… Back… Apparently, from Tara’s point of view, men liked it when women took charge. Leo’s eyebrow rose in a ‘oh really?’ sort of fashion. Leo had had some bad experiences with that before… but Tara was probably right. In some cases, but not completely. Still, Leo responded, “Only in the most dire of cases, dear.” After hearing what Thomas had to say, Leo said, “Oh, I hope you’re not that forceful to every guy you meet? That could run some of them off.” Not him though. Sometimes, he liked a challenge… but when that challenge leaves you bleeding on a rooftop somewhere in Europe… it wasn’t fun. His mind briefly flashed back to brawling with the shape-shifting Hydra agent… that was a challenge he wouldn’t like to retry.
He glanced at Aurelie as she made her off-handed comment, smirking. If only she knew the circumstances for her asking him to prom. That they were sitting beside the lake, and Leo had brought up the idea of leaving the Academy. And that in reality he hadn’t given a second thought to prom. The reason he was so reluctant to go was because he really thought that he was leaving. And big crowded rooms weren’t his style… he had seen all too many times how a seemingly harmless bump into a fellow patron turned into death… and that the ‘fellow patron’ was really an assassin with a poisoned needle. Plus, turning down Tara’s offer would be ungentlemanly of him, especially in front of his team leader.
Lillian and Aurelie conversed ever so briefly about how Leo owed the former a favor, to which Leo said, “Well, I hope neither of those things happen,” he chuckled. “Plus, absorbing my power doesn’t go well for mimics. They usually get pissed because initially nothing happens. They only get the base power, so they have to go hunt down an animal in order to test it out. And usually by then it wears off. Trust me, it’s not worth it.” He said all of this with a joking demeanor, but it was completely true. SHIELD had tried to pair him a mimic or two during his tenure there, and it usually ended with a flustered teammate.
When Aurelie mentioned about seeing more of the animal mimic in the future, and how she thought he didn’t like her, Leo was so close to saying, ‘You have no idea…’ but refrained from doing so. Instead, he said, “Oh don’t worry, you will. We probably just won’t be hanging around any malls any time soon,” he laughed. In actuality, he had visited her, multiple times. Each time she had been knocked out by whatever medication she was on, though. He had promised himself that he would see her when she was awake… but being racked by guilt, he couldn’t bring himself to it. Plus, whenever she was awake, that guy Dominik was with her…
Tara complimented Aurelie by saying that she was the hottest girl there, which the telekinetic refuted. Yes you are, Leo thought to himself, taking a drink of punch. Oh goodness… he was hanging around Dimitri too much.
And then Tara was gone, leaving Leo to pick up an awkward conversation with Thomas. He answered his query, and followed up with his own, to which Leo responded, “Leo. I’m an animal mimic.” He shook Thomas’s hand. Thomas seemed like a pretty stand-up guy. No wonder he was an Alpha. After their little introduction, Leo let the healer and the telekinetic catch up. He was mentioned, but he was too absorbed with people-watching to notice. Suddenly, an unidentified blond woman (Cammi) came up and surprised the both of them. Leo had no idea who she was, but from Aurelie’s reaction, her name was apparently Cammi.
Soon enough, Leo noticed the conversation brewing between Bella, Gideon, and Blake. Concern was etched on his face as he watched it unfold. If only he could hear it… too bad there weren’t any moths around. He knew that Gideon and Bella had sort of a falling out… it was why Gideon was transferred to another team. It was bad of him to spy, he knew it… but he couldn’t help it. It was his nature, after all… heck, it had been his job for four years. When Gideon merely walked away, Leo breathed a sigh of relief for his team leader, but then Bella was suddenly… gone. Oh no, Leo thought in his head, his eyes zipping over to Gideon’s hulking figure heading for the doors. Sure enough, Bella was right there, and smacked him on the face. Leo’s sharp intake of breath for a gasp expressed how his level of concern changed in mere moments. He knew that Gideon, like Wolverine, had an adamantium-plated skeleton. It was like smacking a steel pole… or rather, a steel-plated bowling ball. Bella flashed back over to Blake, and Leo wanted to go over to her, but…
Tara’s words snapped him out of his trance-like state of watching the Alpha leader. He blinked a few times, luckily able to pick up on everything that she said. Able to crack a smile despite every muscle in his body wanting to move to help his team leader, he gave a look of mulling over it for a few moments before finally saying sarcastically, “Well, alright. You know, I drive you here, let you walk over me… even buy you dinner…” he couldn’t help but laugh mid-sentence. “I might as well tie you to my waist. Here, let me put this down…” he turned around to the punch table, putting him right next to Thomas. Using the age-old technique of talking to someone without looking at them and pretending to do some other task, he said so that he could hear, “Go check Bella. Her hand.” Was all he could get out without turning back around to look like he hadn’t done anything suspicious. He figured that if Thomas was a healer, he could take care of Bella.
“Now,” Leo said, “how about we show these kids how to really dance? With class?” He outstretched his hand towards the earth-mover.

╔═════════════════════════════╗ Alpha: Prom |1476| Thomas "Transmigration" Morgan ╚═════════════════════════════╝ Thomas smiled pleasantly as he listened to Tara continue to tease Leo. As the animal mimic took his comments about the story he had put away in memory and mentioned something about running guys off, Thomas shrugged. "Truthfully most find her too intimidating." Tara of course in typical Tara fashion waved off the story he was referring to and as Aurelie expressed interest in hearing it, the geokinetic was quick to respond. Turning to the blond woman Thomas gave her a knowing look. "Fear not there will be plenty of time to swap Tara stories later. Preferably when she is not around to add her own unique spin on it." The way he said the last bit obviously alluded to him joking. At Lillian's comments on making Tara out to be a maneater he smirked. "Something like that. I have heard succubus and siren thrown around by some of her less satisfied dates."
After speaking he gave Tara a smile. "Of course their opinions matter little." It was his way of letting his friend know he didn't think of her in that manner and was just joking. Falling silent for a time and just listening to the group go back and forth with each other he decided that he would likely enjoy working with the Alphas. Not that he had any doubt to begin with. It was just seeing this small group of them together joking around and having a good time that convinced him of it entirely. Everyone just seemed so pleasant and friendly, and thankfully they all seemed to have a rather good sense of humor. Thomas being Thomas could have done without the flirting, but he just ignored it as he did always. He just wasn't a flirty guy. Perhaps he could be with the right girl some day, but just flirting with everyone was not for him. Call him old fashioned.
As Aurelie offered herself and Lillian up as a date for him he just remained still with a smile on his face. With Lillian's comment about him not being able to handle the two of them he nodded in agreement. "You two at the same time will probably chew me up and spit me out. I just ask you do so gently and try and take it easy on me." Aurelie dismissed his apology and mentioned needing more of his time in the future as well as Leo's. Letting the other man answer first, the healer looked to his friend. "I shall certainly make an enormous effort to give you more time in the future if that is your wish. I certainly have no qualms about spending time with friends." Hanging out with friends was something he always enjoyed even if, now that he actually thought about it, most of them were of the female persuasion. There must be a few rumors going around about his preference. He just had yet to hear any of them.
As Lillian responded to him concerning a dance Thomas gave her a smile finding the power mimic to be just as pleasant to converse with as the others were proving to be. "I guess a thanks is in order?" Aurelie was quick to mention not going out there herself to Thomas and the healer gave her an understanding look. "Even so what kind of friend would I be if I didn't encourage you?" The man made sure to respond just as quiet as the blond had to him. It was not to discourage anybody from listening in, but just because the blond had lowered her voice. As she continued on to mention having finally gotten behind a piano the healer smiled happy to hear it. "Well then I will definitely need to hear you play sometime. As for playing with you, I was never a piano person, so you would have to teach me probably." He was willing to learn if it meant Aurelie continued playing.
As Tara tried to get Aurelie out on the dance floor, Thomas and Leo were officially introducing themselves to each other. Shaking Leo's hand and listening to the man call himself an animal mimic, Thomas found himself interested. "Animal mimic? That sounds like it could be a very interesting power to have. Either way it's good to meet you officially Leo." The healer could see the two men becoming friends rather easily. While the two men were introduced to each other Aurelie seemed to have secured her freedom. "I see you are in the clear as well." Smiling at the blond woman it wasn't long after that another of his very old friends made her way over to them. Looking at Cammi, Thomas couldn't help but smile as she mentioned missing the sanity he brought. "I don't think your parents are that bad Cammi. I withhold judgment on the rest of your family however." He hadn't met them so there was no need to say anything about them.
A nod was given as Cammi mentioned him joining the Alphas. A coy grin appearing on his friend's face as she mentioned not talking him out of it and nudging him gently. A short laugh escaped him when Cammi mentioned him loving seeing her. "You do tend to make things more entertaining most of the time." Aurelie joined in by playfully shoving him in the shoulder and Thomas gave her a look of mock warning. As if he would ever do anything back to the girl, something she knew. The hot girls comment being mostly ignored though a comment escaped him nonetheless. "You two make me sound like such a perv..." As Cammi asked about prom Thomas rubbed the back of his neck. "Honestly I am not one hundred percent sure when it was decided either. I have been quite busy in the infirmary to be honest. Though I think it was more of a spur of the moment thing."
Letting the two women converse Thomas glanced to Leo feeling bad for leaving him out of the conversation only to see he seemed preoccupied with something else. Following the man's line of sight he found the sight of Bella, Gideon, and Blake meet his eyes. They all seemed incredibly uncomfortable which made Thomas wonder why. Last he had heard Bella and Gideon were quite the happy couple. Considering going over to diffuse the potentially heartbreaking scene he dismissed it as Cammi addressed him again. "I have been remarkably busy actually with everything. And let's just say that for the foreseeable future, I will not be going to any malls with you." He didn't dive into it any deeper than that for the moment considering where they were. Besides Aurelie would have been the better person to ask about what had happened.
The sound of a faint sharp slap reaching his ears though by the time he turned back to Gideon Bella was nowhere in sight. Eyes finding the leader back next to Blake the healer looked her over for any sign of an injury. Before he had time to really visually check her over however, Leo talked to him stealthily asking him to check Bella's hand. Ah so that was what had happened. A sigh was suppressed as he turned to his two female companions. "If you will excuse me I just spotted Isabella and since I haven't seen her in some time would like to go say hi. Don't go anywhere, I will be back as soon as possible promise." Smiling at his companions he bowed out of the conversation for the moment and upon moving to approach Bella patting his pocket just to make sure he had a syringe on hand.
Smile planted on his face as he approached he stopped next to Blake. "Blake it's been quite some time. A pleasure to see you back." Then onto what he really came over for he turned to Bella only for his smile to waver before disappearing completely. "Bella can I see the damage? We don't have to do it here if you don't want. We can go outside for a few moments. I can also give you a transfusion then." Speaking kindly he let his voice show that he was sorry for what had transpired. She was likely in just as much emotional pain currently as she was physical. Then figuring he would offer himself up as a ear he continued. "And if there is anything else I can do for you don't hesitate to ask. I can drive you back if you like." Granted unless she had brought a car it would have to be on his motorcycle and he hadn't brought a second helmet. Not that he needed one either really. After the offering he gave a small forced smile to Bella and Blake before waiting for an answer.
(OOC: This turned out longer than expected.)

Name: Raine "Glitter" Burke Team: Alphas Power: Creation and Manipulation of Electricity Location: Will this evening ever end? The banter between Cissa and Aren could be hard to listen to, especially at the insinuation of all this unspoken history that Raine hadn't the faintest about. Something about Catalina. Something about a definitive ownership statement when they first met. They were situations that she would rather not think about, especially when she had the size-shifter's arms about her for the night and yet the conversation kept turning back to Narcissa. It was a jealousy brewing in her stomach, and no matter how much punch she drank, it was doing little to quell the fire starting to rage there. The fire was only strengthened at Felix's remarks to Aren regarding his date choice, sealing his eventual fate. If he thought this was going to be over when the dance ended, he was sorely mistaken. His a** could fail Biology and never leave high school for all she cared. Maybe that would give him all the time with Narcissa that he so clearly desired. After all, the last thing she would want was to get between those two. At least Aren had the decency to still be diplomatic about the situation, complimenting both she and his team leader for being stunning in different ways. Aren insisted that he wouldn't let anyone take advantage of her if she chose to partake in the punch. The mere insinuation that she was out for the opposite, spoken by her former speedster friend, elicited a soft glare from her, though she then felt the native's hand move against the small of her back where it had remained firmly parked throughout the ordeal she'd been facing. At least he was still on her side. She caught Felix stealing a glance at her, one that she intentionally did not return. The conversation then turned to Cissa's protection from Felix, which almost caused her to snort in laughter. Rather than dwell on it, however, she turned her attentions back to her own date, her cheeks flushing once more when he made a crack about the brunette wanting to remember if something were to happen between them. " Oh, I'm sure it'd be something I couldn't forget." The words "sex tape" drew her out of her own mental wanderings, hazel eyes turning to the petite form of the blonde leaning against Felix more more and making coy remarks about body enhancements to her own date. A camera was produced, the blonde announcing that she was not going to miss a moment of their group making asses of themselves considering the circumstances of the evening. The alcohol made her laugh slightly, the brunette continuing to nurse the cup in her hand as she felt her cheeks starting to flush, a happy smile seeming to constantly tug at the corners of her lips. Then, Felix mentioned that not all of them needed the alcohol for that - she couldn't agree more. At least, this time, she was able to keep those thoughts to herself. Though, the more he mentioned this kiss between himself and the Omega leader, the harder that was becoming. Just why it bothered her so much, she still didn't know. Softly, she nudged her date in the ribs when he asked if she was ready now that the camera was ready, giving him a sideways grin as her cheek leaned in to rest against his chest with a grin. " Maybe a little later," she teased back, the group raised their glasses in response to Aren's toast, Cissa correcting him by pointing out that the more proper term would have been a night of forgetting. She would never get tired of that grin. A boy tripped and rolled in front of them, playing it off as if he had intended it the entire time, and responded to her good will gesture in kind. She chuckled at him as he insisted that was how he had been trained to say hello, the brunette draining more liquid from the glass in her hand as she gave a polite incline of her head. It was clear that Cissa was less than amused by his entrance, which only made her like him a little bit more for the time being. " Nah, around here we mostly wave and smile to say hello. Your way is much more inventive, I guess." He downed the drink that she gave him, Raine giving him a slightly raised eyebrow before he launched into an explanation as to his power and how it meant that it would take a lot more than slamming one drink to get him buzzed. Eventually, he introduced himself, asserting that he was on the Alphas, and considering present company, that meant that she should take it upon herself to make him feel welcome. Especially when she saw the blond's glacier eyes roll upwards before leaning herself against Felix once more. " Well, I'm Raine, also on the Alphas. Welcome aboard," she said with another smile. Raine's attention turned to a new arrival, toting along a small child. She was quick to offer the little girl a warm smile, hazel eyes turning to her father as the man approached Narcissa and introduced himself as a new addition to the Omegas. He then introduced the little girl as his daughter, which caught her a little off guard all things considered. It wasn't every day that one of their own was toting around a mini-spawn. Glancing around at the others in the room, it seemed that she was attracting more attention that just from their immediate group. No doubt, everyone else was thinking the same thing - she didn't belong here. What was more shocking about the whole scene was the sight of Narcissa Lucania lower herself to the child's level, and address her in a softer voice than she thought she had ever heard come from the girl's lips. It was a side of the Omega leader that she wasn't sure existed, and yet in that moment she found something in the blonde that she didn't entirely disdain. Still, it didn't make up for the past few hours.

╳ Codename: Aegis ╳ Team: Omega ╳ Location: Prom ╳ Thinking: Try and tell me I'm being a bad father, and then haunt me to prove me right, that I wasn't kidding that you wouldn't wake up to see your next meal. ╳ Michael could feel the negative glares, the disdain for him bringing a child with him to the academy, as if he didn't know what this place was. The photokinetic knew full well what this place was and the possibility of attack. But on the flip side, they didn't know how either him or his daughter felt. Considering three quarters of his daughter's life, Michael was over seas or in a place where she would go days weeks and half the time, months on end without hearing from his daughter and she wouldn't even know if her father was still alive.
"Go on sweetheart, don't be shy." Michael said to his daughter and put his hand on her shoulder giving her a slight nudge. Her step was unwanted, but she stepped forward, one arm wrapped tightly around her tiger striped teddy bear, and her other hand holding onto her father's pant leg. "He's Hobbes..." she mumbled just enough for Cissa to hear her. After answering Cissa's question, she buried her face into her stuffed companion, hiding from the people who towered around her. Maybe if it had been morning, or in the middle of the day when she would normally be full of energy and dancing to the beat of the music.
Michael looked to the other three in the group. He felt their disagreeing gazes of disdain for bringing his daughter here. Disdain for the fact that there was a child that was in a place that could be harmed at any time. His face jumped from Aren's to Felix's then back to Aren's again after Felix looked to Aren, with an 'I agree with you' kind of look, then to Raine's. He felt the searing gazes of more than just these three, most likely four had Cissa been looking at him. It started to aggravate him, that the people here, most of which didn't have children, who didn't know the feeling of having a child, and of your own flesh and bloods 4 years in existence, being away for 3 of them. She needed a father, and he wasn't about to leave her behind.
"You know, if you guys have an issue, which I'm already guessing I know what it is, given the circumstances we're in, regardless you guys throw a prom night to entertain the idea of comfort in a forever threatening environment. You don't have to pussyfoot around when it comes to saying what you want or need to say. And if you're worried that Beth will hear and get offended. Don't be worried, she already knows full well the danger of being here. Don't think I came here without warning her of the work to be had, the things I'll have to do and possibly leaving every other week, or every couple of days to go on a two day mission, three day, one day, a week or month long, knowing that I may not be coming back, and that she could get hurt being here. But she can muster more strength in her left pinky knowing these dangers, to be able to spend time with her father than having to go more of her life seeing me on a computer screen and having my mom tuck her into bed, but now I've been given the opportunity to do that in more cases than I would if I maintained my military career not for my abilities. Don't underestimate the value I have for my daughter, and that to me her better well being is number one. I'd have her stay with her grandmother if it were not for her asking and begging me to come with. So rest assured, you may think its unsafe here, but there will be a time when her x-gene activates, I'd rather it be here where she can first manifest her powers, than in a public high school system where she would be incarcerated and taken to some internment camp set up for mutants. So lay off and know the full story before you're quick to judge." Michael, stared all of them down, not in an aggressive 'I'm gonna rip your face off' manner, but more of an 'I stand my ground regardless of what you say or think' tone. He took a deep breath, not realizing how worked up he had gotten in his little mini lecture that he went on.
Elizabeth turned towards Michael and hugged him, and looked up at him. He could tell her eyes were slightly glossy. Him talking about possibly dying obviously made her sad. It always did, even when he talked to her about the circumstances of coming to the Mansion. He picked her up and began rubbing her back as her arms wrapped around his neck and her fuzzy companion hung from her grasp. "It'll be alright sweetheart. I'll always come back." He reassured her."I Know..." She responded to him in a hushed and melancholy tone.
He turned his attention to Cissa again. "It's to my understanding that most if not all the people assigned to the Omegas and Alphas take part in some sort of schooling. Is that necessary?" He asked. It wasn't that Michael wasn't educated, or lacked a previous education that would hinder him. It was just that Michael hadn't continued his education since he got out of his Intelligence training with the military that doubled as College Credits as well, and to be honest, he didn't really want to continue college courses. He'd rather spend the down time with his daughter than be educated in something he felt was unnecessary.

Kat's one-word answer confirmed Vee's question. The fact that she hadn't even realized that the animal earlier could have been a fellow mutant taking advantage of their powers made her uncomfortable. If someone could sneak up on her so easily, there could be someone watching all the time. Vee could've laughed at that thought. Why would they want to watch her? Kat, she could understand; there was something about the girl that seemed a bit off, though Vee couldn't place what.
Kat explained a bit more about her powers. Vee noticed that she seemed to sort of drift off, even as she was speaking, that her eyes slowly slid off Vee and and gazed, somewhat unfocused, into the distance. It was just for a moment though. They snapped back to Vee, and this time, the look in her eyes was different. It wasn't a look that an average teenage girl would normally have. It was as if she was analyzing Vee, in a way that made the cryokinetic extremely uncomfortable. The shapeshifter's words only made Vee even more so, her Italian accent curling and sharpening her words.
"You're pretty. I might be you later."
Vee shifted in her spot and glanced away, clearing her throat uncomfortably. She was glad Kat moved on to answer her next questions, that the cold, almost threatening look she had on her face disappeared. The shapeshifter sighed, as if searching for words, and she stretched her arms. No wonder she preferred shifting into a cat. The girl acted like a cat even out of the animal's form. Vee hoped to catch a glance of whatever she was trying to hide beneath her chestnut-colored hair, but Kat sort of ducked her chin, covering her neck even more.
Kat's answer made Vee chuckle half-heartedly. "Yes, well, I'm sure we can all relate to that in some way or other," she murmured, not realizing what the shapeshifter might've really meant with that statement. Vee glanced at Eli as she spoke, noticing how he was just quietly listening to their conversation. She couldn't tell if the guy was even paying attention, actually. As socially awkward as he was, maybe the easiest option for him was to just pretend he wasn't there.
Vee thought it best to move onto another subject. It was obvious that neither Kat nor Eli wanted to share too much about their reasons for not attending prom, and Vee wanted to stop before she prodded too far. "So what's the deal with the whole 'Alpha' and 'Omega' thing?" She was pretty sure the headmaster and some other people had given her a run-down about it, but she'd tuned out during most of the explanation. A bad decision, obviously.

Gabriel Byrne Location: Prom Thoughts: Introductions after foolish acts balance out the night Gabriel was pleased by the introduction of Raine, who turned out to be a fellow Alpha. Seeing the proverbial den of wolves that was the short blonde and company, and her lack of teeth calmed the young gunsmith. He calmed himself a bit, the alcoholic beverage having a placebo effect of stemming his nerves. After one drink, he was no where close to dancing on a table. Though at this point, he'd consider it to get rid of the tension he felt. After his tuck and roll entrance, anything seemed to be more likely to make his already tarnished reputation a better one. She called him inventive, but he had to wonder just how inventive it was to make a fool of himself. Raine was a stunningly beautiful woman, and frankly this night was an interesting one in that he met people of various walks of life. Who the hell knows what these people came from before they came here. "I guess I'm the team's ballistic expert. I'm an apprentice gunsmith from out of Vegas. I have to wonder just who the rest of the team I'm working with." he added, he hoped the team would be friendly. He guessed that the others that she was talking to were part of the other team. They seemed relatively hostile to the apprentice gunsmith. Though the arrival of a young man and a little girl at his side piqued his curiosity. He was wearing dress military, something that he can admire and find common ground with. He helped former military in maintaining and even optimizing their firearms. Looking to Raine, his curiosity got the better of him as he saw the blonde lower down to the child's level. "She seems like she's going to eat the little one." he said in a somewhat joking manner, he at least hoped he came across like that. Then again, knowing his luck he'd have his own slew of problems coming up. OOC: Apologies for the short post

Omega, Location: Prom A good stroll with a wonderful woman She bumped her hip into him as she remarked about being made to blush. She remarked that the father and daughter combo likely joined this group knowing what they were getting into. Noticing the dress military uniform he had to imagine this guy knew what he was getting into with this whole group. The night was a peaceful one, and a cool breeze drew her closer to him. He had to imagine that her dress no matter how beautiful it was did not have much in terms of insulation. It felt good to have her on his arm, and he felt something that he hadn’t felt in a long time. He felt calm, and at peace. Never thought it would come in the company of a redhead, but he was enjoying it all the same. She told him how she grew up in a family of six, the youngest sister among three brothers, “Well, I can imagine they would be the type to watch out for their baby sister. I’d be shaking in my boots with the prospect of meeting the family, especially with Army involved.” he didn’t know if her brothers were soldiers, but he made a guess in his head that this was in fact the case. She seemed to be open the idea of getting close to him, and he had to wonder that it was that was causing all this. Was it the booze? Or was it him? He had to hope it was the latter, but he assumed the alcohol was a factor. Part of him tried to be a gentleman, but the urge to kiss her was too tempting. So he did the next best thing, he put his fingers to his lips. He made a simple kissing gesture and then planted it on her cheek. “Temptation is abound tonight, and I do wish I knew what cards to play.” he added, his smile growing wide.

Team: AlphaxxxLocation: Prom - snack table
Unable to stop herself from joining in on the fun, Aurelie's words flew out of her mouth before she could stop them. “Normally that's what a guy says to a woman, not the other way around, Tara.” She said just before muffling her giggles by taking a sip at her cup. Politically correct? Certainly not... but sometimes, it was easier to say just what came to mind. And hearing the geokinetic saying she'd give Leo a hard place if he'd only ask had given her ample opportunity to make a small jibe.
The girl seemed pleased that the telekinetic agreed with her in regards to the terms of Leonardo accompanying her as a date for this shindig, and she beamed in response. “But of course. What man wouldn't be jumping through hoops to go on a date with you?”
Thomas mentioned knowing past times where Tara might have been over-assertive, and her interest piqued, even if the woman waved off the stories, claiming that they'd need to be told for another night. “Oh, but I think I do. I might catch a few tips so I might snag someone like Leo in the future.” She winked then, allowing the animal mimic to know she was only kidding. The last thing she needed was for him to think her a stalker or creeper. Then he'd never want to hang around. “Should I get you another glass?” Aurelie asked, her sapphire irises glittering in the dim light. ”Or two? Or three?”
But the healer said that he'd delve into them when Tara wasn't within earshot another time, and Aurelie giggled. “That sir, I will hold you to.”
Mirth marked her features prettily as Thomas requested that Lillian and Aurelie be easy on him. The mimic said that he was polite even for declining and the blond shook her head. “I heard no denial in his words, only a request that we are gentle with him.” Donning a deadpan expression, Aurelie stared directly into Thomas' eyes. “There is no part of you that either of us would be intentionally negligent with.” She promised, grinning.
Off-handedly, Aurelie demanded that both Thomas and Leo spend more time with her in the future, and the animal mimic didn't disappoint with his response – making a small joke about their last endeavor. “Oh, I'll be doing my shopping online for a while... Don't worry.” She might have suggested a movie for their next outing, but she didn't want him to think she was putting a move on him while he was on another date. “But even just seeing you around campus would be an improvement.”
Thomas also agreed to give her the time of day in the future, and Aurelie beamed. Certainly, she'd be far less lonely on the Alphas if she knew a few of her team mates better. Not that anyone would ever be able to fully replace Callie, but they did make her less nervous about being on one of the more utilized student teams.
The whole owing of a favor came into play, and there was much speculation as to what Lillian would ask of the animal mimic in the future. Aurelie mentioned a genie, but it was easily refuted seconds after. “Test subject to what?” She asked, raising an intrigued brow. Giving off a sympathetic look to Leo, she shrugged, envisioning him in a human sized rodent wheel, with a piece of cheese hanging in the air just outside of it.
The inevitable subject of dancing was breached, and both Tara and Lillian attempted to drag her to the floor. Aurelie declined, shaking her head at the idea of standing in the center of the circle while everyone else grooved around her. But she chose not to correct them on the fact that it wasn't that she couldn't dance... it was more the lack of will to do something that might be painful to think about.
Two years ago, she'd have been the first one on the floor.
Thomas encouraged her to try and dance if she fancied it, but didn't push the others might have. Not for the first time, Aurelie found herself grateful that he'd always been such a good listener, because his understanding made declining far less painful. “A good one.” She teased when he asked what she might think of his friendship if he didn't at least try and get her back onto the dance floor.
“I'd be happy to give you a private concert, so long as you don't make fun of me if my fingers fumble across the keys. I'm really out of practice from what I used to be.” She admitted sheepishly, elbowing the healer lightly. “And I could try to teach you, but I doubt I'm skilled enough any more to be of any real help.” Some things about her Amish background would likely ever be with her; her humility was definitely proof of that.
The girls drifted away and Aurelie let out a small breath of relief. “I can try... but you know how these boys can be pretty rambunctious.” She called after Tara, who essentially told her to keep the guys out of trouble while they busted a move. Lillian swooped down and kissed Aurelie on the cheek, and she paled considerably, feeling instantly drained by the short contact.
Memories of Julliard flooded Aurelie, being accepted after working so hard, hearing the instructor's rhythmic commands as she held onto the bar, the salts for her blistered feet, the racing tempo in her heart when she took the stage... and the last where they expelled her because of her mutation. Her anger seemed to echo throughout her skull, etching it further. Were anyone paying any sort of attention, they might have noted the pain that haunted her features for the short amount of time that her and the power mimic remained in contact.
“Don't worry... I won't.” She assured the girl, grasping onto the table behind her to steady her balance. Immediately, her other hand came up to her head massaging her temple for just a second to alleviate the phantom pressure that remained. “She definitely knows how to pack a punch.” She muttered under her breath.
Cammi's sudden appearance lifted the mood effortlessly; always the girl had been excitable, enough that it could bring a smile to even the grumpiest of faces. “I meant the institute silly. Prom doesn't have much longer I'd think. Most pairings for the night will be turning into some dark corner to do what couples do.” She scrunched her nose at it, jokingly disapproving of teenage hormones.
But seconds later the girl confirmed that too, she'd be remaining at the academy, which only delighted the blond further. It'd be nice to have someone leaking so much exuberance around, especially with how downtrodden most of the Alphas had been since the mall. She shrugged at the question that the human chameleon posed, flipping her golden hair over a shoulder. “I've been pretty lazy of late.” She said, skipping the whole conversation as to why, and that she'd really not had a choice. “It's been a quiet month.” As long as she didn't tell her, make a big deal of it... Aurelie wouldn't have to relive the experience again.
Thomas gave his own report, and Aurelie snickered, making light of the mall's chaos. Considering it kept popping up, she could do little but make it appear like she'd fully recovered from her guilt over the whole situation. Bringing down everyone's mood because of how she felt responsible would do no one any favors.
Between herself and Cammi, Thomas proclaimed that they made him sound like a perv, which caused laughter similar to the sound of bells ringing to escape her. “A closet perv, of course. But don't worry... I haven't any plans to out you just yet, Tommy.” But the word he should have noted was the smallest of them: yet.
It wasn't long before Tara returned to the group that had lingered to the side of the dance floor. Aurelie chose to say nothing about the hard time that she claimed to give Leo over the Alpha's resident telekinetic, figuring it would be best to leave the subject alone. They headed out to the dance floor, and Aurelie grinned after them, thinking that the pair looked nice together.
Thomas departed as well, stalking off to Bella and the new guy, which left Aurelie with Cammi. “Looks like everyone is enjoying their evening. I'd consider prom a success.”
Peering out into the crowd, she saw one figure leaning against the wall on the far side of the room. His hands were in his pockets as he stared at his feet... but it was incredibly hard to miss just who it was, when she'd spent so much time with him in the past few weeks. Just then her wrist comm went off – the Slovene accent thick as he invited her to leave with him. Grinning, she lifted the piece subtly to her mouth so she could respond. “Now I should alert you I expect you to behave.” She teased, as she wiggled an empty Solo cup in the air so that he'd catch onto what she was saying.
And with his own retort, Aurelie smiled at Cammi. “I should probably get out of here. You know how prom isn't exactly my thing. But I'll catch you for breakfast tomorrow.” She said, making a point to wave at Lillian as her feet carried her toward the exit and subsequently to the man who'd given her a good enough reason to depart.
He turned his face away from the crowd, sauntering out when he knew she'd follow so as to avoid those who might have given him a hard time regarding his suspension from the Omegas, making it appear as though Aurelie was leaving alone, even if a few people might have been able to guess that someone outside had summoned her.

Alpha: Prom was all in all a good time! Oh this night was a good one so far. She was just listening to talk about Tara getting Leo to come to prom with her. And the Geokenetic seemed ever so pleased that Lillian didn't think she was some kind of man eater these boys seemed to make her out to be. But she knew their words were all in good fun. Of course that didn't stop her smiling back at the girl as she listened to the others talk about it. Oh this was interesting. It was fun to watch the girl she dragged to prom enjoing herself around the group. Her comments were some good ones. A nice mixture of flatury and joking all in one lovely retort. Then Thomas mentioned telling stories when Tara was out of ear shot. "If I am not here to hear them you must share them with me later I bet they are good ones." Lillian said to both Aurie and Thomas about the stories of Tara and her man handling as it were. There were bound to be some good ones. "Oh but he did when you offered him to be my dance partner but as I said he was sweet about it. As for the being gentle thing. I am sure we can all come to some sort of arangement." She said with a sly smile. "Well it certainly is good to be thorough in what one does." She said bumping Aurelie's hip and smiling at Thomas. To think the blonde tk user didn't even want to come and look at the fun she appears to be having. Talk moved on to what she might request of Leo since he owed her one. "Don't be so fearful. And besides the favor wouldn't be for barrowing and messing around with your powers that is well frankly would be to easy a request. While I like your power personally there are others out there that would be more fun to mess around with." She said when Leo explained how his powers generally work with mimics. She could understand why if would happen that way only getting the base power. If one didn't have imagination and only went looking for what they considered the more powerful creatures. Only thinking of predetory animals would be very short sighted. Lillian turned to Aurie when she asked what she would make him the test subject of. "Well frankly my dear I don't know yet. But I do promise that what ever request I do make every percaustion for the test subjects safety. I wouldn't be so mean as to fix him only to make a request that would lead to him being broken again. Cause then I would just have to fix him all over again." Lillian said this all as if it was not a big deal at all just some tedious exercise. She did turn back to Leo and wink. She was really just having a laugh messing around. She might not even ever ask for a favor. After the failed attempts to get Aurie out on the dance floor she planted a kiss on the girls cheek. Her head had images that were memories not of her own. It was clear they belonged to Aurelie. Lillian was stunned at what she was seeing. But here is was in these memories of the blonde's time at Julliard. If it wasn't for Lillian being used to the after effects that come with the use of her ability it might of showed more on her face. But it did make her sad to actually know the cause as to why the girl didn't want to be at the dance. She would have to make sure to apologise for it later. Last thing Aurie needed at the moment was for the power mimic to draw more attention to that painful memory. So with that she was off to wisk Kerri off to the dance floor. Leaving Aurelie in the capable hands of Thomas. A great time was being had out on the dance floor with the group of girls she was with. Really just like before prom it made her realise she needs to spend more time around people and less in the labs. It was strange really it never bothered her before just how little time she spends with people who aren't in the med bay or Forge's lab. Other then that the two people she only ever really spent time with was Cissa and Kerri. Those two are who she considers to be her best friends so that bit was to be expected. But now she was on the Alpha's no longer on the Omega's with her two friends. So that meant she had to start spending time with her knew team or how could she expect them to feel comfortable with her come training and mission times. "Oh there is no way that is gonna happen unless you think we are slam dancing at some rock or punk show." Lillian said with a smile to Daylia. Her former teammate whom at the thought made Lillian realise she never socialized with the girl outside of training for missions. Even that was limited and it caused a slight frown but the fun of what was going on was to much for it to be more then a flicker of a frown. Lillian had an almost devilish smirk at Tara's response to her inquiry about her getting Aurie on the dance floor. The Geokenetic amused her with thoughts of Leo and Aurie struting their stuff. The grin might of added to the list of things that made Aurie worry about the power mimic as previous actions had during the night. But she knew the TK user understood all was just in good fun as the blonde had seemed rather amused by her. "Oh now that would be fun to see. But alas I don't think even he could get that girl out on this dance floor." Lillian said truthfully. Maybe after the prom is over she will be able to get Aurelie to talk about why it is she is so against dancing. Maybe she could help the girl move past it. It was such great fun. Well it certainly was at the moment. It was a shame really, but the power mimic would be happy just as long as Aurelie had fun. It was her fault the poor girl was here in the first place. Lillian mock pouted after the girl Peyton responded to their friendly greetings as Kerri bumped her hip telling the her not to let the power mimic hijack her. And did she call her Miss Anxious. 'Hey missy I am not anxious I am just trying to get people to have a good time." She said bumping Kerri back and stuck out her tongue. "But she is right you don't have to but hey it's fun!" She said throwing her hands up having a great time. She was glad the girl decided she would join them in the dance the more the merrier as the saying goes. Well for this dance that still included those of the male gender as this dance group was ladies only at the moment. It seemed Cissa didn't hear her call out to join them on the dance floor. It was a shame really it would of been fun to have her other best friend on the floor with them dancing away. Well that or she chose to ignore her as she was in a group the included non Omega's besides herself. Then again Lillian had missed the appearence of the child along with a few others to the group her former leader was in. That probably had the most to do with why she didn't join them. Then all to soon for the power mimic the song ended. "Kerri sweets you are smokin hot tonight I am sure the boy has all sorts of naughty thoughts running through his mind." She said as the muscle mimic was walking away. But before the girl could get to far Lillian rushed over spun Kerri around. And with out a moments hesitation planted a big kiss right on the muscle mimics' lips. The power drain was near instantanous as she felt energy flow into her. She broke the kiss before to much energy was drained from her friend. Unlike Cissa the unsespecting Kerri does not have potentially unlimited energy for the power mimic to draw upon. Like always there was the slight head rush that came with it nevermind the drinks she consumed earlier in the evening. Smiling at Kerri she turned back to the other girls. "It truly was fun ladies. And sorry Tara I think I already blew that request out of the water." She said with a smile as Daylia commented about needing a drink before walking off and Tara mentioned needing to be a good date. Lillian was about to respond saying she should return to Aurie when Peyton spoke up asking if she came with a date. "I certainly did. But alas she refuses to dance with me." She said with a sigh which quickly turned into a smile. "I should go check up on her. You are welcome to come with me of course if you want. I had left her with group of people. So it's not like you would be intruding on anything." She said not even thinking that Peyton could be left uncomfortable after the kiss Lillian just shared with Kerri let alone the statement that she came with another girl. Lillian started walking towards the other in a pace that would allow Peyton to follow if she so chose to do. She stopped in her tracks as she caught sight of Aurelie's departing wave before the blonde headed to leave. The group the blonde and been with seemed to dispearse around the same time. Thomas was walking away to go talk with others she assumed. No knowing about the incident that happened between Bella and Gideon. And it appeared Leo was about to take Tara out to cut a rug. She frowned even if the deal was only for Aurelie to come to the dance with her there was nothing about her having to stay the whole time or having to depart together. Turning back to Peyton she turned her frown into a smile. She couldn't be too sad Aurie had at least seemed to have a good time while she was there. "Well it appears my date has departed for the evening. So yeah looks like I am a free agent. You thirsty?" Asking the girl having no clue what to do now.
