Riku kept his hands on Yuki's back feeling happy about being with his lover like this. He wondered why fate would want to intervene in their relationship even he assumed it was a test.

Yuki let his mind wander until the events of that night unfolded again, coming back to haunt him. Yuki sat up straight so quickly that it made him fall backwards. Covering his face with his hands, he shook in fear," I'm sorry." He said to Riku," I'm so sorry!"

Riku was surprised to see Yuki fall over backwards and he felt confused of why Yuki trembled in fear. "What are you apologizing for?" he asked he wanted to know that to see if he was to be upset or angry.

After hearing the reason of the apology, Riku saw the memories become clear in his mind. He was a little upset mainly because his content mood faded out quickly, but he didn't feel anger though. He assumed he did hold anything Yuki or else it would have when first had woken in the hospital.

"I'm sorry. I know you were just protecting me." Yuki sobbed." I didn't think he'd do it. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry...." He got quiet, almost whispering," You should've just let me get killed. I didn't know.... That he'd.... shoot you...." Yuki trailed off, knowing who he was talking about, why he'd been so protective at Hot Topic when Jeff was all over him." I didn't know how far...Jeff would go to get you back....."

Riku felt sorry for himself for being involved in a love triangle as dangerous as that one. The picture he saw in the bedroom with Jeff and him made more sense knowing he was in a relationship with Jeff now which he would explain why he was so experienced in bed. Also explained what Yuki said about Jeff acting weirder than usual today. He still didn't think it was Yuki's fault, but he wanted to get revenge on Jeff now.

Yuki looked in Riku's eyes," Just promise me, you'll never leave me again. I couldn't bare losing you again." He felt a strong urge to keep Riku locked away, just for him. Never letting anyone else be able to hurt him again." I don't want you to get consumed by revenge like Jeff. The doctor told me not to tell you any of this, but....I just couldn't keep it from you."

Riku knew Yuki was right about getting revenge because it can change a person for the worse and he didn't want to end being like Jeff. He definitely felt like applauding for having courage to tell him the truth despite the doctor's orders. "I promise" he said truthfully.

Yuki smiled, happy to hear that. He re-placed himself in Riku's lap, holding tightly to him. Yuki seemed ligter, more boyish in charm, and happier now that he didn't have to keep that night's event to himself." I love you, Riku-kun!"

Riku was happy to see that the weight of the secret was lifted off of Yuki's shoulder. He thought it felt good to be loved like this by your best friend. "Love you too, Yuki-kun" he replied.

Yuki moved along Riku's jawline, stopping just before he got to his lips. Yuki leaned his to kiss him, but grined evilily and went to the colar of his shirt, impatiently chewing at it, finally removed it with swift hands.
