After glaring at Riyo some more, Shun turned his attention back to Mitsu and let out a sigh.

"Why did you eat so much of this?" He asked. She should know that she can't have chocolate. His gaze shifted to her hands which were at her stomach now. Oh Jack, was she already feeling ill?

Letting out another sigh, he shook his head slowly and looked towards the booth. Christof.. was now crawling under the table. Alright. That aside, the booth her was somewhat covered with glitter causing him to sneer a bit at the sight of it all.

Glancing back momentarily from the booth (just as Christof crawled under the table), Riyo noticed Mitsu place a hand on her stomach. "It's really not a good idea to hold that in, you know." Lest she wanted to be sicker. "Maybe you should find a place to... Empty your stomach out." It was hard to find a good way to suggest the ghoul go vomit her brains out somewhere inconspicuous, but Riyo supposed that would do.

Mitsu let out a soft whine of sorts, "I...it tasted good. I..didn't think about it." She had just been excited it wasn't dirt or glitter and when it wasn't either of those her mind just shut off. It wasn't like she ate chocolate on a regular basis to associate the taste.

Giving another whimper at Riyo's suggestion, Mitsu wrapped her arm around her stomach this time. "Empty my stomach?" While logically that was a good idea...the only thing Mitsu hated worse than being sick was revisiting something she ate. Tail drooping much like her ears Mitsu stood in place as nausea washed over her. "I..I don't know how to make myself throw up." She mumbled. Though it was possible soon she wouldn't have to make herself....it would just happen.

Barth had not come out of the booth on fire and with a knife through his head, but he wasn't a pretty picture. He smelled like smoke, and was covered in soot. His cravat was streaked with blood, his clothes were rumpled, and his hair hair was out of order.

In spite of his appearance, he had plenty of time compose himself in the long, wandering path between his booth and Riley's. If anything, he became outwardly more relaxed.

He even smiled.

"Ah, Christof," he said to the half-visible, unmoving igor that was under the table. "There you are. And Riley."

Barth picked up one of the small, purple Riley plushies from the table, but his focus was on the life-size one in front of him. He was aware of the small crowd at the booth. ...Good.

"I was just stopping to admire your booth. Sturdy shelves, nicely painted. Hand-crafted ribbons. A cannon. All sorts of materials lying about. Explosives. ...My booth is only a table and a sofa, admittedly. But I imagine someone put lot of work and time into this booth. The end result is very nice."

Riley twirled the knife in her fingers, though it was quickly put behind her back when the three students neared her booth. Her eyes rested on all three, easily remembering them despite such little interaction. Welcome, Shun, Mitsu, Riyo. It is nice to see you all again. She tried not to listen in on their conversation, because it would be rude - but were they talking about throwing up? Hopefully not near her booth..

Her grip on the knife tightened when she heard a slow voice. Barth was a demon, and as such, his silver tongue was familiar to Riley. Every calm and easygoing word, to Riley, was taken as she would any carefully constructed lie. She took his mere presence as an insult.

But of course, she turned to him fully, and gave him a courteous nod. Welcome, Barth. Thank you very much. We worked very hard on it, Christof and I.

Her words were pleasant, and light. Her expression was friendly. But Riley was not trying to hide how she felt about Barth right now. No, even if her eyes weren't glowing a dangerous red, she knew he would understand exactly how much she wished to drive the knife in her hand into his heart.

"Did you? I'm surprised you had the time. Christof is, of course, very good at booth building. He's spent a lot of his time working hard on very nice booths like this one. And yours is by far the nicest. You have, of course, had plenty of time to play and, I am sure, win at... the other games in the festival. Because I know how competitive you are. I'm not a particularly competitive person."

Barth set the Riley doll safely back onto the booth.

You'd be very surprised as to what I have the time to do, when I set my mind to it. She chirped cheerfully, even as her hand came out from behind her, and she sunk the knife deep into the plushie he had just been holding. Her next words were not so sweet.

What do you want, Barth.
PostPosted: Fri Jul 22, 2011 6:00 pm

"You've damaged one of your supplies, there. I just wanted to admire your booth, as I said, and fill you in on some information you might be unaware of."

Barth's tone remained helpfully informative.

" ...Did you know, for instance, that the person who helped put your stand together had yet to play a single game? He hasn't even had time to visit his own booth, which is really only a table. Because in addition to building your booth, he has spent the entirety of the Festival minding it. And when he took a very short break (on my order, admittedly, I have always been a proponent of relaxing) to play one or two games before hurrying back to your stand...he was set on fire."

He paused at the words set on fire, because he thought these words carried important connotations to anyone listening that might not want to be set on fire.

"You must know him well enough by now to realize that while he willingly suffers at your expense, fire is the thing he fears most of all. So if someone were to forget all the work and dedication he has spent on them and then burn him alive, their actions would strike me as incredibly evil. And while I have an appreciation for evil of that caliber, especially directed towards one's close undead friends, I am not sure everyone else feels the same. Particularly, perhaps, said close undead friends."

Barth smiled again, this time at what he could see of Maladore, who was also cowered under the table. Then he looked at the knife buried in the Riley doll, and tapped the hilt.

"But I see you've already got the point."

Riley had a lot of things on her mind, currently. One of which, she wasn't able to lash out at, for very specific reasons. Barth, however, was quickly becoming an easy scapegoat for her bottled up frustrations. It was unfortunate that he chose this time to try and challenge her with his weasled words and threadbare connotations.

She bent in intimately close, coming eye to eye with the sloth demon, and her gaze thinned to slits. Her voice, in his mind, was private - only he heard her words.

And it is your command that led that same person to go off, without me, to get his a** kicked repeatedly in said games. She hissed, clearly not quite over the fact that Christof had been safe, and happy, until he listened to the sloth's demands. You don't know what's best for him. I do. So let me tell you this, once and for all, sloth.

Her words were punctuated by a mental feeling. She did not need a knife to stab.

Don't. Get. Between. Me. And. My. Igor.

One little Contract in Highschool doesn't make him yours.

Aloud, the only noise he made was a single, irritated hiss.

But his Debt with me will be paid. In times and ways that I dictate.

And it was in that single, irritated hiss, and not Barth's words, that Riley finally found some satisfaction. Her eyes blinked, several times, and they returned to their normal soft white, before she reached up and tapped Barth on the nose affectionately.

We'll see~. She whispered privately in a bright, almost playful tone, before backing away and reaching up to adjust his cravat. My, you could use a change of clothes. And perhaps you should return to your booth to get started on recovery? I heard you had some trouble. That Desu-Chan, you just can't predict what she's going to do.

She let him go with an expression akin to a smile, and moved over to her cannon. Something had been stuffed inside, but it was unclear what. She took a match, and grazed it harshly against her own skin, leaving a black smear of a burn. Then she used the lit match to light the cannon, and leaned on it while blowing the match out with a tentacle.

Good luck with your campaign, by the way!

It seemed anyone was free to try and shoot this particular plushie down, if they wished.

"GRAND PRIZE PERFECT ACHIEVEMENT SCORE GOTTA WIN"

Pepin screamed at the top of her lungs.. she wasn't sure why. It was important that she hit THIS plushie. She missed the other two but if she hit this one, there was no doubt in her mind that she

WOULD WIN

THE INTERWEB.

In a fit of delight, the glitch ghost hovered over to whatever piece of the plushie was left, in this case the head and picked it up.

"I WON. MY PRIZE. THE ENTIRE INTERWEB."

Placing the barth skull next to her cannon cthulhu, Pepin buzzed around the booth until she felt she'd shed her victory adequately.
