It took a little longer than expected, but I got it up. I had to do research to back up a lot of what I was suggesting. Please, PM me with any issues. I do again apologize for the time, but since I've finished up a lot of details I'm able to respond quicker now.

I've been taking a deeper look into the classes to decide what I want for my next character, and I noticed that the Tamer Class is a little... well, I don't know what to call it. Not overpowered, I just don't understand why they have sooo many Ninjutsu slots. xD

Even the Ninjutsu Class doesn't have that many... specialized! o-o It's a little weird to me, that's all. I know they have to distribute to their pets/formless if they wish, but it still seems like a little too much.

I like what was done with the Taijutsu and Bukijutsu class, and feel that's what should be done with the Tamer Class, since they are primarily physical based. (unless paired with a non-physical type class) It's more of a suggestion, really. But any of the mods that'd be willing to explain or discuss with me about it would be great! :3

Decrease the Ninjutsu slots by half, and give them a number of formless slots to be used at each rank. They have the ability to learn Genjutsu after Jonin, so the count there should be about fifteen instead of ten Ninjutsu slots, since they can also combat with Genjutsu now. I'd think it be really cool if this could be considered a perk for those who have the Genjutsu, Sensor, or Performer class as their primary or secondary, so the pets are used to watching their tamer use Genjutsu, or because it would simply be easier for the individuals with this type of class setup to teach the pets how to use it. (I just don't see a Tamer/Tamer or Bukijutsu/Tamer being able to use/teach Genjutsu... let alone their pets.) The count for Genjutsu slots is fine, as they can be split between tamer and pet if they are of the Eternal Partners Discipline, or the tamer can teach each pet a couple genjutsu if they are of the other two disciplines.

That's all I have time to explain right now, but if any mods have any input, please feel free to quote or PM me! ^ ^

I'm quoting you because I've noticed the new Genjutsu system you're trying to create. So I figured you might be able to shed some light on this. More specifically the Genjutsu part. ouo

It's because the tamer class is meant to share those slots with their pet, and the class isn't inherently physical as one might think, its more of a build your class sort of thing, but I could be wrong.

We'll be dropping for sure the number of slots they have. We're already planning it out to make it work out better. But as for the rest, I find it amusing because honestly we've begun talking about it. My wife and I were talking about how tamer basically begs for you to be a more formless fighting type, with less emphasis on taijutsu and instead getting tons of formless. I'll bring it up formally to the others soon (read as "when I get home"). Honestly, now that I'm the HR//PR. Guy I've been looking more into how things can be balanced out. I'd be more than willing to talk with you about alternatives, and in fact I welcome anyone to join in on these talks.

We cannot get better, after all, unless we hear from the members what they want to see. Any suggestions or ideas you have we'd definitely love to hear, and I'm here to help y'all have fun!

It's been a while since anyone has posted in here, but an idea that worked when I was captain of a Naruto guild BACK IN MY DAY! *waves cane at the sky*

A systems index.
This is basically just a big post with all of the systems information. You still leave the other stuff where it is, and you could stuff this off to the side somewhere, but having one place where all the rules are for people to go find would be way easier for users to handle. I know every time I go looking for a system, I find myself digging through the sub forum full of that stuff and not everything is even listed there. (Formless styles, jutsu training and use specifics, the job system, etc.) It shouldn't take new people 15 minutes just to find a thread where something is listed.

Also a lot of it needs to be rewritten for clarity's sake, IMO, but that may just be my English degree speaking.

We're actually working on that last part! There's a slow overhaul going that we're going through as quickly as we can. The next stage of it is the jutsu lists, which I know hold the majority of the issues. If anything stands out to you [the Formless system will be completely rewritten soon, I just haven't had a chance to do it Dx], let me know, and I will focus on fixing those things first.

As for the list of systems, I completely agree! I can't say it'll come out with the jutsu, but I'll do my best to get it done as soon as possible!

I know you all just did some work on the jobs system, but I feel like 1) it being buried is a problem, and 2) there's not really a description about how to engage with it. I managed to divine that it's basically just a system of missions by digging in, but an explanation of what it is and why it's important would be great. Especially people who haven't been taking part in Naruto RPs for a decade.

That also doesn't really need to be a terribly complex thing, just replace the content posts at the top of the two jobs sections with info about how the job system works in general, how people claim that experience and whatnot, what each of the two sections require and are meant to be - a note that the ANBU and Oinin sections will have other jobs as a prerequisite. Basically, an "Explain Like I'm 5" version of those systems, because they're pretty overwhelming.

Yep, that's actually the purpose of the overhaul; some stuff is getting fixed, but he majority of it is clarification. It's just fairly slow going because it takes a while for everyone to have a chance to respond to discussions. Jobs will probably be getting a major overhaul in general here soon, I just haven't had a chance to do so, so we've placed a temporary fix instead.

Thanks for your input, and if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to quote me here or message me personally!

I don't remember exactly when, but I know that they will happen, most likely before or at the very beginning of summer.

The original plan was the beginning of March but since it hasn't been planned in character yet, it's being pushed back. I think we're aiming for mid-March or April. I'm not the kage that's planning it though so I have no idea. XD

Aight! Hello people.
I have two questions. The first is where can I post custom bloodlines and the second is will you guys think about making Samurai into an actual class if I have a concept that we can make it work into the guild?
And may I suggest a Skype chat for the guild if there is none. heart

We do have a Skype chat for the villages. Kumo and Kiri, because they are currently in an alliance, have a shared chat, and I believe Suna and Konoha each have their own. If you have a Skype account, you'll likely be added to the village chat when your character is approved. We keep the chats separate because of the large number of members, and to keep intervillage planning separate (although a lot of members are in multiple chats).

We have considered making a Samurai class in the past, and there's a possibility of it coming up again in the future. For now, the Bukijutsu class has a Discipline focused on Samurai, as well as a couple of Bukijutsu styles dedicated to the discipline.

As far as custom bloodlines, unfortunately we don't typically take suggestions for additions, to avoid everyone submitting their own and every bloodline only having one person in it. However, there is a lot opportunity to create custom jutsu for your character that can be taught to others. Should enough people find interest, we can consider making the clan a permanent addition to the guild. Additionally, we host bloodline competitions every now and then (and will probably be holding one soon, since we haven't in a while) in search of potential additions.

Well that's very unfortunate.
I'll be keeping the bloodline safe for the time being then.
Thank you for the reply.
