Dema replied to the giant before he went on with his works, not really caring that much what he thought about Lucian. The smaller elf was her friend, after all! She did keep awake, though, if only to make sure this giant stranger didn't peep on them as they rested.

If I had arrived in the city earlier I would have been able to fight my way up, But my ship was caught in a terrible storm. I come from an Elfen kingdom on the other side of the world. I traveled here because I heard the princess of this land was kidnapped. And Thought I'd enjoy the battle royal while I searched. I hope She's alright."

After properly being bashed in the head multiple times by his "comrades", Voit most likely suffered a concussion. The next thing he knew, he was groaning and sitting up from the hard ground. Kyrell was still there, and Boom--but Lucian and Dema where no where to be found. Voit sighed, falling onto his back once more. So they had left him, probably to get drunk or something. Well, he promised. Voit missed being with his friends, but it's not like he could just...leave a child like that! If he did, he was no better than his own father. The knight frowned, looking downcast.
"I guess you should go with Dema and Lucian buddy, I have to find a place for me and Boom to stay tonight. Can't be bringing him around such violent places." Though Voit was pretty sure he could protect Boom, it didn't seem right. Though Dema and Lucian's words also echoed in his head. It was all so confusing! He wanted to listen to his friends, but his heart told him this was right. So he picked up the child again and looked for an inn for the kid to sleep for the night.

As Aether is flying care free, he sees something shiny and flies straight down towards the shiny object which looks more and more like a person wearing armor and just yells, "SHINYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and 'smack' tackles the person. i think it was someone carryin a kid wearing armor.

|o.o so much I've missed. Anyways, don't know how much I'll be on. There was a fire at the family farm and so it's been hectic. Seems like one negative event after another T.T|
Faye smiled, hugging Esma once more before her stomach growled rather loudly which caused her cheeks to turn a bright pink. "Uhm, so where was that kitchen again?" she asked the maid, still blushing a bit in embarrassment. She was always forced to eat certain things at the castle and was a bit excited to see what the kitchen had in its stock. Closing her eyes she didn't realize the odd expression on her face as she imagined some a delicious chocolate cake.

"Ez" kale said looking at the girl as he stood up rubbing the side of his head a bit angrily. "Start setting up a barrier outside of this town" he told her darkly looking around having been sitting there well after the arena was over none remained in the stands except for the street urchins and they payed little attention to anything other then the offer of coin. "I am tired of this city and these people" he told her darkly as he looked around. "I figure it's time to show them just how evil the dark wizard can be" he said with a small smile as he walked out of the stands.

Ez stood up with him and nodded "Alrighty, right away Master." she said , always seeming to act pleasent even when Kale was darker than a demon. She floated up to the sky lightly and went to find a private area. She found a small rock on the ground, like any other rock and wispered a few words. She carved some symbols into the rock. She placed the rock against her stomach as it sunk in half way, slightly becoming a part of her. She took to the skies again to make the pattern for the barrier. It would be invisible, cover the city, and she was quick to make it. The power was mostly from her, but concentrated into the rock and whatever minerals it held.

Esma snickered and grabbed Faye's hand, leading her back to the kitchen. "What's on your mind? You've got an awfully happy look on your face." she spoke, happy to see that the princess could be so cheery and light-hearted even in a place like this. Esma almost envied that quality of her's. Almost.

{I was going to let everyone finish up - meaning Kale and Ex for the most part, or I'll have Dema wake Lucian up once Kale's rampage begins. Either or. Or if you'd like, I could have Dema inadvertantly wake Lucian up now.

Dema had layed there for about fifteen minutes in silence before getting utterly restless. She couldn't sleep, and for some reason or another, she felt the need to get up and do something. Anything. Perhaps this was because she didn't want to think too much right now, especially not about how she was a bit of an irresponsible b***h of a princess for making her best friend take her place while she went out adventuring for herself. She shook her head to remove such thoughts and looked down to Lucian. Although she wanted to get up, she couldn't just leave him here alone. With a soft sigh she gently shook him, softly murmuring, "Lucian, wake up."

Lucian woke up slowly as he was shaken, opening his eyes. "But mommyyy...I dun wanna wake up." He whined, looking at her. It was obvious that he was still more than a little drunk. Still, he was in his childish...phase of being drunk, and he was like that until he sobered up completely. After a moment, he looked at Dema quietly, his mind thinking of her as Dema again, but still thinking like a child. "Demmmmaaaaa. Why you wake me up?" He asked, his eyes wide.
