Aʆєxaηdra Ӎaʀiʆèηє AgηèȿCodename: Flairer My hearts longs for the ability to get out of here! ❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ ✶✵✴❄❅❆❇❈❉❊❋❖❤❥❦❧ ☀ Alex hadn’t heard Opaque telling her to stay put. After all, Alexhad made the suggestion and then walked away from the girl, assuming she had followed. The French girl hadn’t even realized she had ruined an element of surprise when she told Opaque her power. Then again, Alex didn’t even know much about being out on the field. She knew not to say her name, and to not let any pride get in the way of following orders. That was about it, other than making sure to follow orders to a tee. Admittedly, Alex realized she had already messed up her first mission when she told Reggie her real name. By pure luck, it seemed no one but Reggie had heard her. Then, the French girl couldn’t remember if she had said Eli’s name out loud. However, she had a bad feeling she had. I am terrible at this…but I will do better next time…
Her blue green eyes looked around her, a small gulp coming from her throat. If there is a next time…Her nose moved slightly as she started to enhance her sense of smell. She remembered Opaque recommending making use of her nose instead of her eyes. Even though Alex knew the smell would be awful, she took her advice, soon finding herself trying to hold back a cough. Ugh! He smells so awful!
As the other three started to prepare to take out the bomb, the French girl watched as Opaque sent a strange dark ball towards Toad. However, he dodged it and sent his tongue at Opaque. For a moment, Alex felt like moving the girl out of the way. But, her mind stopped her body, reminding her of what happened to Moonlight earlier. Thus, she watched as Opaque dodged and hit the clothes rack nearby. But, Alex did not move from inside the shield. After all, the only thing she could do was make sure Toad didn’t sneak attack them. With his scent overwhelming her nose, Alex didn’t think that would be hard. But, that didn’t mean she could predict his every move. Thus, when Opaque told her to try and watch her back, Alex nodded. “Got it.” Her eyes kept themselves focused on Toad now. His appearance only added to how revolting his scent was to her nose. Keep your cool, Alex. You have to do as you are told, or else bad things could happy to not only you…but to others as well. However, she felt useless as Opaque sent another bolt, only for Toad to dodge it. Her eyes widened as Toad grabbed a rack, with his tongue, and flung it towards Opaque. If only I had telekinesis...All she could do was watch as the rack hit Opaque’s back. The French girl felt her body move slightly towards the girl.
However, when Glitter called out Allegra’s codename, Alex found herself turning around. Her eyes focused on the unconscious girl, uneasiness seeping into her body. It didn’t help that she felt a deep rumbling beneath her feet. For a brief moment, the French girl felt glad that she hadn’t enhanced her sense of hearing or touch. If she had, Alex would have lost her balance for sure. What is going on? The uneasiness only grew when Toad started saying his parting words. If there is a next time? Her head turned to watch Toad leave the store. But, Opaque wouldn’t let him go that easily it seemed. With a concussive beam, Alex observed Toad being sent flying out of the store. A small giggle left her lips as a small grin formed on her face. “Good shot.” His scent became fainter and fainter, allowing the sensory adaptor to feel a bit of relief as Opaque came over towards them. She watched as Opaque put one of Allegra’s arms over her head. Without being asked, Alex moved towards Allegra’s feet, grabbing her ankles gently so the three could carry Allegra out together.
As Opaque sent out a transmission, Alex looked towards Moonlight. “Moonlight, if you can, put a shield over the three of us. That way, if Toad comes back, we will not have to deal with him flinging us around like ragdolls.” The French girl wasn’t sure if the idea was sound. However, if the others had a better idea, Alex was all ears. But just in case Moonlight didn’t follow her instructions, Alex kept her sense of smell enhanced. That way, she would be able to tell if he came back towards them. However, she heard a voice coming from the comm. She recognized it was belonging to the white-haired man(Gideon) that had attacked Brick and Pack. Before Alex could respond, Renaissance Man’s voice came through the comm. Admittedly, she hoped this place wasn’t still in danger of exploding. However, that deep rumbling she had felt, and Toad’s cocky attitude did not give much hope in that department. I just hope we will be able to get everyone out of here. After the white haired man(Gideon) talked again, Alex temporarily let go of Allegra’s ankle and pressed her finger against her comm. “Other than Allegra, the rest of us are in decent shape. We may need help getting Allegra out of here though.” Her finger moved away from the comm and gripped Allegra’s ankle once more. “Unless you all think we will be able to handle her on our own. But, I felt we should have back up just in case.”
Soon, the group started moving, carrying Allegra as they went. It was a bit of a struggle for the frail girl to help in carrying the unconscious girl. However, her stubbornness allowed her to overcome her weakness for now. I’m sure my arms are going to be sore after this. At that moment though, Alex didn’t care. Her main priority was getting herself and the others out of here. But, something caught the sensory adaptor’s eyes. The blue greens blinked as she looked towards the floor of the mall. A part of it seemed to be slowly caving in, and that made the French girl even more worried. “Um…why is the floor sinking? That is not a common thing in American…is it?” Alex had heard of sink holes before. They were places where the earth had been exposed to erosion. Thus, the dirt lost its’ stability and sunk into the ground. But, Alex thought they were post to be common in places full of underground caves, or places with a lot of underground springs. Not in a place like this! However, the fact this was not likely a sinkhole made her even more nervous. Did we really not take care of the bomb?
Then, Alex heard Rogue’s voice over the comm. She looked between the girls with a small smile on her face. “A portal? I never thought that was even possible. This shall be an interesting experience to say the least.” The French girl had never heard of Gateway. Thus, while Alex trusted Rogue, she could only trust Gateway because of Rogue’s words. But, the fact he was trying to give them a way out meant he shouldn’t be that bad of a guy. However, when she finally caught a glimpse of him, her eyes blinked slightly. I am not sure what I was expecting…but it definitely was not that. A small, elderly man stood before them where one hadn’t been before. He was only half-dressed, reminding her of those tribesmen that only wore something over the lower half of their body. But, as her eyes moved away from him, they focused on the portal. Her mouth opened slightly as she had to keep herself from admiring it in awe. It was large in size and seemed to beckon the group into its’ colorful depths.
Thus, as the strange man raised a strange looking object, aiming it towards the portal, Alex glanced at Glitter, Moonlight, and Opaque. “Well? Guess we better go through there while we have a chance.” She waited for the others to start going through the portal, not wanting to accidently drop Allegra in excitement. I will be glad to get out of here, and the moment I do, I am taking a nice looonnnggg nap. ❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ ✶✵✴❄❅❆❇❈❉❊❋❖❤❥❦❧ ☀ "We will drink our fill of Alpha Then, of golden sunshine that spills into the mall, specifically Opaque's location, then in front of the portal Till our brains intertwine with Moonlight, Opaque, Allegra, and Glitter"

Alpha - Mall - Exit -- Portal Left Opaque stepped up to help her get the unconscious Aurelie out of the mall, the brunette flashing the girl a grateful smile. The blonde girl Alex also stepped in, grabbing their unconscious teammate's feet so that they could simply carry her out. She was glad that they were able to shift the weight between the three of them, knowing they would be unable to carry her individually. As they hurried away from the mall, Bianca radioed to everyone else the predicament they found themselves in, though the two girls never really broke stride. Her flats thudded against the ground as she jumped over a piece of rubble, trying her hardest to keep the unconscious girl over her shoulders from bring struck by chunks of concrete and exposed rebar as the concrete under their feet appeared all but demolished. Alex called for Moonlight to try and put a shield around them, in case Toad made a comeback, though she wasn't about to slow down considering the facts. All in all, it seemed like a pretty normal outing for the Alphas, especially considering that the Brotherhood had been there and all, but she couldn't help but feel that this was not at all close to over. Regular humans were a little less forgiving of destruction like this, especially when there were mutants involved. And with all the reports on the news lately, it would certainly behoove them to get the heck out of Dodge before the cops got there. With the advent of cell phone cameras, she wouldn't be shocked if they were already screwed. Alex responded to a request for their status, letting who sounded like Gideon know that while Allegra was injured, the rest of them were in decent shape. Of course, as the floor started to sink, she let out an inward sigh -- it was always something, wasn't it? The girls managed to get their way outside and back towards the parking lot they originally arrived in, a portal awaiting them as those of their group started to make their way through. She wasn't quite sure what to make of the man that was creating the portal, with his red skin and all, but she had to say that it wasn't the strangest thing she'd seen since Limbo. " Agreed," she said simply as Alex suggested that they get their butts through the portal. The four girls made their way through the portal, appearing on the steps of the Academy. They were all careful not to drop the girl they were carrying, Raine grunting as she adjusted the weight the best she could. " Alright, let's just get her straight to the Infirmary," she grunted, moving with the other girls towards the building. There were several people around, asking what had happened -- apparently Bella had already passed this way. Hopefully, that would be the extent of the injured -- chances were, she was going to be dead wrong.

Alpha - Inside the Mall - Evacuation Tara felt a little bad that she'd missed Hoshi's presence, the brunette too worried about getting them out of the building before it collapsed and making sure those that seemed they couldn't stand on their own were lead to safety. Unfortunately, these fears were not allayed when Opaque's transmission rang through everyone's comm devices, the earth manipulator cursing under her breath. If it wasn't one thing, it was another. This whole outing was really starting to get old. Even in his dazed, busied state, she found it amusing that Leo was still trying to give orders, giving him a soft smile as he gave them the evacuation order. He really didn't have to tell her twice, especially when it came to creating a path for them to go through if their way was blocked. That was really what she did best. At least she could do something that made her feel useful at the moment instead of standing around like an idiot - that was something that would irk her more than anything else. " Just make sure you don't move around too much, alright? I'd hate to drop you," she said simply to the injured Renaissance Man, once he was done giving orders to those around them. They started making their way out of the Mall, the sound of Leo's voice causing her to turn her attention to him suddenly, lifting the slab of concrete he was floating on over a large pile of debris. " Returning the favor, huh?" She smiled, using her powers to push a pile of debris out of the way to create an easier pathway for them, and anyone that was lingering behind them. " Well, someone has to save your a**, right? Just consider us even." Hopefully he would be able to tell that she was joking around with him - she really didn't mind helping him out, especially considering how patient he had been with her when she didn't have eyes and had to rely on everyone else to tell her what was happening in Halloween Town. That was certainly an experience she never wanted to re-live. Thankfully, their exit from the mall went relatively smoothly, and they didn't run into any additional enemies that she had to dispatch of. By the time they reached the extraction point, it looked like they were one of the few still left at the mall, her brown eyes quickly running over the form of the red-skinned man while trying not to stare. That was…something she'd never seen before, and yet she wasn't surprised in the slightest. " You know, after starting school here, I don't think anything can ever really surprise me ever again. Watch me eat those words later," she said softly towards Leo as she steered them towards the portal. While it wasn't that he was heavy or anything, she found a soft pain starting in her temple, probably from using her powers so much since they got to the mall, while at the same time fighting the exhaustion that came with running and fighting. So, when she found herself on the steps of the Academy once they made their way through the portal, she couldn't really contain the sigh of exasperation that escaped her. " Thank God," she muttered, lowering the chunk of concrete to the ground as carefully as she could so as to not jostle the injured Leo too much. Slipping onto the step, she swallowed hard, her body language suggesting the relief she felt at being able to let go on the concrete chunk. " Can we get some help over here, please," calling out to anyone that would be able to help get Leo down to the infirmary. She'd be alright after a few minutes - she just needed to sit for a minute.

Team Alpha’s Moonlight Name: Tsukino Kazuki Ability: Barrier Creation Location: Inside Mall and to the academy steps Thoughts: It's time to, how do americans say it,umm... 'Dipset?' Tsukino stood shakily to her feet.Holding the bomb had taken more out of her than she expected and her nose had bled slightly.Lucky that was the only damage she sustained. Her head was still throbbing from being thrown into a wall.Thankfully she was still able to move. She had seen what had happened to Aurelie and was saddened. She knew that had to hurt, and she hoped she never had to experience that. She watched as the other girls came and got Aurelie before making a dash towards the portal created by a mutant she didn't know, named Gateway. She stopped moving towards freedom to look at the damage that had been caused by them. This was a disaster and mutants would be the blame for it all.No peace,no freedom, just persecution. The humans had had enough of them and this was only going to fuel a already raging war.The brotherhood had been the cause of this and the Xmen tried thier best to stop it, they all did.Unfortunately humans chose not to see it that way. They loved to point fingers and pin this destructive result on all mutants. It was sad that they all couldn't live in harmony.Thier children could possibly end up mutants and then what would they say to that? Would they force thier children onto the streets? Murder them and believe that thier action is justified because thier child was a mutant? It was a sad reality that they were living in and something needed to change.
She snapped from her thoughts when she heard people calling to her.It was Alex, the young girl with sensory abilities. She had asked Tsukino to form a shield to protect them as they exited through the portal she gave a nod as they made thier way towards the portal. She quickly erected a shimmering orange rectangular wall that stretched in order to protect the portal and all those going to it.Hopefully she wouldn't have to worry about anyone attacking it since both sides were attempting to evacuate the premises. That reminded her that the omega team and some of the other Xmen were outside the building fighting more members of the brotherhood. She wondered if members like Scarlett witch had been out there. If so she was sure the omega team didn't survive without a few injuries, especially if they attacked her.She hoped everyone made it to the exit in time.It would be really sad if any of them were left behind in this mess.
She made her barrier disappear, before looking back. She closed her eyes and entered the portal. Before she knew it she was on the steps of the always beautiful academy. She let out a sigh of relief that she made it out alive on her first mission. She wished she could say the same for the others. But somehow she knew they would be alright. They were the xmen after all.

Omega: Courthouse -- What's the signal again? Oh right - flying car! The rest of the team indicated that they were ready for the distraction Lillian proposed, Kerrigan more aware of the increasingly degrading state of the buildings around them. Considering the nature of their enemy's powers, it was safe to say that they needed to get this over with before everything fell on top of them. Maddy was particularly in favor of that plan, so it seemed, considering she would be part of what fell on top of them should things go negatively. Before she had a chance for her thoughts to wander any further into the "what-if", Copycat lifted a car and and prepared to throw it towards Avalanche, the redhead grinning when she heard Aren's request. She was impressed with his agility, though not necessarily surprised by it. Still, it took skill to dodge a thrown car - one more reason why he had been moved up to the Omegas. The team started to make it's way into position, the redhead waiting until she heard that everything was ready before she charged in - the last thing she wanted was to gum up the works with her desire to have some hits on the Brotherhood. The ground underneath them started to shake violently once more, the redhead forcing the concern off her feature for Psyche. If anything, her green eyes narrowed a bit more as she glowered towards their opponent, wishing that they could get this assault started before he decided to bring the whole area down. This wasn't L.A., where they were mostly prepared for tremors of this magnitude. How much more the buildings were going to be able to take was an open question, and she'd rather not find out the answer from the middle of the fray. Of course, when he started into a spiel about human respect for mutants, she had to resist the urge to roll her eyes. She knew that if she was wanting respect and adoration for the deeds she performed to keep the general public safe, she was in the wrong business. But the fact that they always tried to find a justification for their creation of death and mayhem was just starting to get a little old - especially considering this wasn't her first rodeo with the Brotherhood present. However, the countdown of their own assault had already begun, the heels of her suit digging back into the ground - readied. As soon as the projectile started making it's way towards it's intended target, Knoxx was on the move, expertly vaulting over anything, and anyone for that matter, that was in her way. Copycat had done a good job of letting them know when exactly she was going to release the van, prompting the redhead to not really reveal their "surprise" attack by yelling out "NOW" or something to that effect for the rest of the group. While the redhead would have liked to help Lillian up and make sure she was alright from the tumble she took after throwing the van, there were other things that required her attention - namely beating the crap out of Avalanche. She'd be a liar if she said she wasn't disappointed when he managed to duck under the van, which crashed behind him in a ball of flame. But it was exactly that distraction that gave her a momentary advantage. Leaping towards him, taking advantage of the momentum from her sprint, she vaulted over his shoulders in a sweeping move, sending a foot straight back into the middle of his back with an impressive amount of force. The least she could do was give Aren a bit of reprieve from close-quarters combat so he could re-group and maybe help some of the straggling humans get out of the area. Landing low, knees bending to absorb the majority of the impact, she turned swiftly, throwing a series of punches and kicks at him in quick succession - hoping to break his concentration enough to prevent him from using his powers at such a close range. The sooner the rest of her team got there, the better, especially as he landed a hard blow to her chest, knocking her onto her back.

You tell me I'm frozen-- But what can I do? Can't tell the reasons-- I did it for you... When lies turn into truth... I sacrificed for you You say that I'm frozen-- But what can I do? It tears me apart that you will never know...
XXXXXXXXXXXXName: Ƞarcissa "Cissa" Ƚucania Team: Ѻmega Location: Outside Courthouse Thinking: Wicked Witch Indeed....XXXXXXXXXXXX Narcissa took a deep, fortifying breath—Only to have the wind knocked out of her as a pink hued wave struck her. Of course, she couldn’t have been so lucky, that the magic the Scarlet Witch produced was some kind of energy that was compatible with what her body naturally absorbed. No… It was a lose, lose situation for her. The woman turned one of her energy blasts into dust without so much as a wince… And could apparently toss her around like a rag doll. The woman braced herself, prepared to hit asphalt, when suddenly she stopped falling in mid air. Her azure eyes shot towards the voice that followed as tendrils of hair righted her. It was a strange feeling. “…I’m fine.” The sun goddess nodded her head at Covet in thanks, able to recognize the concern in her tone. Her hand fell to her stomach, where the blast from the Scarlet Witch had hit her—Forcing herself to breathe a few times so she could will the pain away. Christ, for such a talkative enemy, she sure packed a punch. Narcissa was silent for a scarce moment as she surveyed everyone’s position…Before glancing down at the dead cops at their feet. This was no place for anyone…Let alone a defenseless flatscan. “We do what we came here for. Evacuate the civilians. Everything else is secondary.” Preserving life was rule number one for the X-Men… Even the lives of their enemies if they could help it. It could, at times, be a difficult rule—Strange as that may sound. The only sure fire way to make sure that an enemy wouldn’t come back to take another shot at them would be to completely remove them from the equation…But Emma Frost was living proof that villains could reform. Killing, was a last resort. And it seemed that it would unfortunately be something she would have to remind her team of...Even though it was only a matter of time before it became necessary...To show the world they were different than Magneto and the Brotherhood...That not all Mutants wanted to terrorize humans...They had to at least try, Hearing her new Omega’s voice through the comm, she sighed deeply… A headache starting to form. She wasn’t blind to Paladin’s bloodlust…Nor could she completely fault it. There were still cooling bodies laying around the asphalt like discarded dolls. If she were being honest with herself, if she weren't the leader of the Omega's... If she didn't have an entire team to protect...Leveling what was akin to a small bomb on top of the Scarlet Witch was more than tempting. “Do that, Dart—Be careful, it’s probably Quicksilver.”
"And if it is...Let's turn the tables. Take him hostage... Then we can see how strong a father's love is."Pressing her comm, she had the presence of mind to check on her Omega’s that had been sent to the mall as the enchanted rain gutters advanced on herself and Covet. Glass blue eyes watched them seemingly without concern…Though mentally, she was imagining what it might be like, to bleed out with out of them protruding from her midsection. For all of Narcissa’s apparent power…Her body was still, only human. Breakable, fragile. Much to her chagrin. “Sidetrack—Talk to me.” Nothing came across the line but static. She frowned, but was unable to send out another call to Chameleon right away due to the fact that the gutters had started winding around her form. It started at her ankles, working its way up—Too tight, for anyone that actually needed to breathe. It pinched her in certain areas, and she knew it broke skin. The Scarlet Witch didn’t want to ruin her fathers’ plans by killing them…But the blond could easily guess, that this loyalty to her father didn’t mean that she wouldn’t. “Back up—“, Solaris ordered Covet coolly, before her eyes flashed hellfire white. The gutters around her turned red, the scent of burning paint and metal filling the air. It wasn’t long before there was nothing left of them but molten pools on the ground that rapidly cooled… Her eyes again went back to Paladin, hoping, that he wasn’t already in over his head…But he’d stopped, some distance from the Scarlet Witch. Narcissa couldn’t see his face… Nor could she guess what stilled him. But she was nevertheless grateful for it, as he came back towards them. “Knoxx!”, she barked into her comm, taking the advice she’d given Covet as she heard the footsteps and felt the bakers dozen energy levels coming towards them. Things just couldn’t go their way, could it? It was silly of her even to assume that. “Status report!” She knew that the day walking ginger would fill her in when she had a breath to spare. But Kraken was currently getting chased about by the fire escape turned creature of god knows what, and Paladin had gone from heading blood thirstily towards the Scarlet Witch… Into a veritable hoard of Epsilon and Zeta mutants. None of them seemed to have outstanding superpowers…But were Morlocks by birth, because their obvious physical deformities couldn’t be hidden. Circus freaks, would be the term most would use. But a dozen men and women wielding pipes and other crude weapons could still easily kill a man. Even an armored one. Solaris didn’t send out her Omega’s as cannon fodder—She didn’t send them out to die. That was what Alpha’s were for. “Go help Paladin until Kraken gets to you. He can’t take all of them himself—And he knows it.”, Solaris spoke to Covet, resisting the urge to touch the girls arm as she swiftly murmured a quick plan.... It would have been a familiar gesture—One that could mean a dozen things. Thank you, please, good luck…But Narcissa knew her core temperature was probably still blazing… And to touch the hair manipulator then, would have been like sticking an over heated skillet directly on her skin. “Find me when you see him coming…Or when Paladin isn’t about to pushup daises.”
“And bring a toy.”And then, the Omega’s would deal with this all mighty Witch. Narcissa moved with a certain surety that destroyed her spoiled rich girl background, light pooling into her hand as she approached the metal creature that seemed intent on eating Kraken from behind. They weren’t more than a few feet away…But at first, she grew too close, and she was forced to duck under the swinging, jagged... Tail? Normally she might have yelled something incredibly snarky towards it…But she doubted it had much of a brain to hear her. Instead she simply drew her hand back and let a blast of light scream free. It moved faster than the metal construct could react and sliced cleanly through it, causing the snapping jaw to fall to the ground while the body wriggled helplessly. “You all right?”, Solaris questioned Kraken, taking another shot at the still snapping jaw with disgust. Metal melted easily enough…She only wished the probability manipulator not far away was that easy. It seemed like the woman simply had a permanent field of… Something around her, that seemed to make most individuals with super powers inadequate. Though Narcissa was curious, and a little perplexed…The file on this woman at the Academy was thicker than a bible…Yet, last she’d checked, had truly told them nothing. Could Wanda still deflect like a pro, if she didn’t know the attack was coming? Surely, her first attack had been heard… “Paladin is going to need you... I think he missed the part I mentioned about not being a hero. Keep him from killing anything, including himself, unless absolutely necessary-- On pain of me kicking the bloody hell out of both of you when we get home—Move.” She gestured to the remains of the creature with a certain level of abhorrence, pointing Jacen in the direction of the others—Lips pressed into a thin line... Secretly grateful that she could pair both boys together. Jacen had a good head on his shoulders, and would do what needed to be done. He might have just found himself in the big brother program. Cyclops was still trading barbs with the Scarlet Witch…Insults that had apparently grated on the woman’s nerves, because his usually pristine uniform was in tatters. Blood dripped from beneath his visor. Narcissa’s eyes narrowed… The Witch was toying with him. As much as she hated Scott… It bothered her to watch him pull himself up from the ground, over and over again. He was…Allowing the woman to use him as a punching bag. Distracting her. Something that might have been called…Shame, burned low in her stomach. He was protecting them, buying them time to deal with her constructs and the Morlocks. Great. Now she -had- to send him a birthday card. Feeling a presence beside her, the sun goddess didn’t need to look to know who it was as a glint of metal caught her eye. Even her newest Omega’s were known to her… And if they’d spent any time at all at the Academy, they’d know her by reputation well enough. Orders were obeyed. Pressing her comm, she spoke quietly—Knowing none of her team was close enough to be heard by Wanda. “Don’t look towards the Scarlet Witch.” Narcissa’s hand moved over her eyes for the scarcest moment—Out of sight from the Scarlet Witch… But Cyclops had seen her. He was too close to warn through comm…But though the rain and darkness, she was sure that she’d seen her… She hoped, he’d seen her motion… And if he hadn’t… Well, Emma was going to scream at her for at least a week for blinding her man candy. “Hey!” On that note, Scott might thank her for it. The moment the word left her, Narcissa’s hand moved and her eyes flared—Bright enough to make the darkness seem like day. A shriek sounded in the air, followed by another howl as it died down just as quickly as it had come. Solaris’ eyes adjusted immediately. She could see Wanda hunching…Holding her hands over her eyes while smoke rose from the soft tissue. Narcissa rest her hand on her hip that was cocked to the side as she surveyed her handiwork… Light slowly growing in her free hand, just in case the first solar flare hadn’t been good enough. Her head tilted towards the woman beside her, though her eyes never left Wanda Maximoff… “Time to play ball, love.”XXXXXXXXXXXX

Omega - Towards the Courthouse - Reign O'er Me The building shook violently beneath her, and her footing slipped on the wet roof. She could hear glass breaking from both sides, the shattered pieces flying down to the street below. Maddy felt something slam into her shoulder, and it was a moment before she realized that she had fallen. Avalanche was shaking the building violently. She failed the first time to get up, trembling with the building. Below, the earth split, opening up. The foundation began to crack, and it slid beneath her. She leaped to the next building over, shaking as she landed. Her hand came down in a puddle that had formed near the edge. The thing overflowed as she landed it in, spilling over the side. Her shoulder throbbed. The girl had to wonder where Storm and the others had run off to, but every now and again she could see a dim flash of red light through the rain. The tremors were getting worse as she approached. She could hear some chatter over her comm-- Leion, Aren, and the others getting into position for their assault. Maddy put one foot up of the ledge of that building, facing the street, to try and steady herself. It did little to actually help. Below she saw the man, adorned in a spandex suit that separated him from the Morlockes (at least stylistically). Pulling back on her bow, she held the thing flat and racked three psi-arrows at once-- one for second that CopyCat counted down. Releasing, the purple projectiles streaking through the air as a giant chunk of metal and fiberglass flew at Avalanche. Maddy couldn't see exactly what had happened, but the explosion brightened the street, and huge, choking plumes of black smoke rose up. The mutant still stood, rising up from the ground in which he had sunk down into. Maddy couldn't hear him, but she could predict what he was saying. They always seemed to say the same thing. The girl cursed loudly as the building began to slide. Why could nothing be easy? She grabbed her comm and pressed it to her lips. "You got any more cars down there that you can throw at him?" she asked sarcastically, her voice cracking on the last syllable. Suddenly, Psyche's footing was lost as the tremors returned. The girl's comm fell out of her hand, falling and falling until it hit the pavement below, shattering. Maddy fell over the ledge, twisting desperately, throwing her right arm out in a last grab at anything before she plummeted down with her comm. her hand caught the ledge, and the girl cried out loudly as all her weight transferred. Grimacing, she let her bow fall to the street below as she kicked desperately at the brick sided, trying to push and pull herself back up. The building shook again. Let's go downtown and talk to the modern kids./ They will eat right out of your hand/ using great big words that they don't understand.

╰☆╮ Name: Katarina Force ╰☆╮ Alias: Kali ╰☆╮ Team: Unaliged╰☆╮ Ability: Shape Shifter ╰☆╮ Location: Shopping Mall ╰☆╮
"Let me believe it's not me. Not my eyes, that you see. I've only just begun... I can be anyone." ✬════━━┈┈┈☆┈┈┈━━════✬ She rolled, feeling pain in the paw on her right side. Somehow it had gotten twisted when she’d tackled Pack to the ground, and ever since, she couldn’t help but favor it. He’d noticed, and had been relentless in his assault... But that was the way of it. Act on instinct, attack the injured area. Win. The world around her was a little skewed…A little different than it usually was. Things that mattered, such as a bomb going off not far away, was the furthest thing from her mind…All her feline wits were focused on avoiding the sharp teeth of the man-wolf in front of her.
The shape shifter had seen him crunch on chunks of concrete while trying to get to her—He didn’t even pause…He’d just kept on going. Like it was comprised of sugary corn flakes, and delicious. Katarina wanted no part of her body caught in the wicked bear trap Pack called a mouth.
He lunged for her, and she darted gracefully to the side—Albeit a little slower than she normally would have, were her paw not protesting. Adrenaline let her forget it occasionally…But not all the time. She growled at the wolf-man, swiping at him in warning when he got to close, catching him across the nose. Pack yelped and drew back, almost surprised that she’d marked him. She hissed, the sound a derisive warning… Tail flicking in the air.
Hearing someone ask something about a ‘cat’, she paused. Her human mind was still there underneath all the feline instincts. She’s translated cat, into her name, ‘Kat’… Realizing that it was just Hostile X-20 asking if she was handling her situation, she snarled into the air…It was a stark, insulted affirmative. The Italian woman was annoyed and frustrated with this entire situation…Being seen by a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent was not something she had counted on.
Keeping her freedom from HYDRA was not at all assisted by joining such a public fight.
That is, if the S.H.I.E.L.D. boy didn’t report her presence first… She wasn’t truly sure which would be worse. Being chased down by the Contessa, or Nick Fury.
Taking a hit to her flank, her distraction costing her, she made a soft sound of pain as she rolled…But she did her best to shake it off. She let the haughtiness of the beautiful black panther she’d become envelop her…Let it bolster her courage as she moved back into an attack position. The lowly wolf couldn’t take her…Not even on a bad day. This may or may not have been true…But soon enough it didn’t matter. The scent of blood filled the mall. It was sudden and strong. Overwhelming. It made her hungry… But more than that, it made Pack hungry.
Katarina took the moment to strike, her razor sharp claws tearing into Pack’s eyes without mercy. She leapt forward, and her fangs found only fur for a moment, before they found purchase and sank into the softer skin of his throat. A little closer would have let her rip right through his jugular…But instead she merely bit down and pulled—Tearing skin away, and other meatier chunks.
Why? Why keep him alive? Because food lasted longer, when it lived.
She leaned forward to take another bite out of the wolf-man when he suddenly scurried away, holding the hole in his neck. She chewed without thought, tongue running over her teeth as she swallowed. It didn’t matter how far he ran…His blood left a nice, neat trail for her to follow. She growled, before settling back on her haunches in the chaos with an air of superiority. Absentmindedly she began to clean her muzzle with the back of paw…Gold eyes watching X-20 move about with something akin to interest.
Katarina didn’t much care what was happening…So long as nothing ruined her chances at discovering X-20’s secrets. She needed to know how he’d secured his freedom.
Suddenly there was a little man with portals popping up here and there…And more importantly, she watched Sabertooth, Victor Creed fly over head. It was almost comical, like he’d been hit by a MAC truck… And then came the shining little circles. Ever so carefully, the shifter returned to her human form. The tight black jeans she wore and fitting blouse allowed her to shift with her clothing… If it was too loose, she tended to shred it. Or lose it entirely… And wouldn’t that be embarrassing.
Or interesting, depending on the company.
Coming to stand straight, she cradled her injured wrist to her chest a moment, frowning at the sight of it. It was sprained; clearly swollen and red…At least it wasn’t her ankle. For the time being it seemed her feet would be of more use to her. The brunette wasn’t aware that her eyes hadn’t shifted back to their normal shade of gun-metal blue steel just yet. Her eyes flickered, extremely reflective, and were just slightly larger than they should have been.
The woman moved, spotting her target among the evacuating X-Men… Hiding her injured wrist by pulling down her sleeve, she let her arm rest behind her back. She invaded X-20’s personal space without thought, the brazenness of the panther still with her. She’d not yet completely shifted back. Her small, pixie-esque face tilted…”We should leave.”
Meaning…That they should leave together, and that she wouldn’t allow him to do anything that would take him out of her sight. The X-Men were already clearing out…And that was fine with Katarina. It wasn’t the X-Men she wanted to talk to just yet.
Her eyes flickered over Gideon’s shoulder. The mutant called Sabertooth was still laying amongst the rubble of a destroyed store. “Or we can wait for him to awaken… And we can have a proper soiree.”

xxxxxxxxxx ➸ ▬▬▬ O m e g a ' s ☭ SIZE Shifting Native______________ Alleyxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx But of course. Someone would be hiding in the car she'd intended to use. Really, the native couldn't blame those who had tried to spectate – curiosity might have gotten the better of him as well, had he not been in the thick of the action. That was truly the only acceptable excuse as to just why someone would stay at the scene – in a car no less, when even the buildings about them were crumpling into a mottled heap of stone and metal. Unless they were just idiots... but he would always be one to give the benefit of the doubt... even if the human race as a whole dropped points in their collective IQ when they gathered in clusters.
He waited for the count, not daring to close his eyes as Lillian's voice sounded off. When “three” rang out, Aren lurched to the side, somersaulting out of the way of the mini van – not at all wanting to be slammed by a projectile car. Unfortunately, Avalanche too had avoided a head on collision with the flying vehicle – a fact that saddened the once passive man.
But the surprise had been just what Knoxx had needed to move in with an advantage – one she skillfully took, throwing a slew of punches and kicks rapidly – one after another until he landed a solid hit to her chest. The size shifter drew in a sharp breath, a frown cutting deep between his brows. “Knoxx!” His voice came in a worried breath, and he'd wanted to say more, wanted to affirm that she was alright... but there wasn't time.
Purple streaks sailed through the air at about the same time, and Maddy's voice dripped with sarcasm as the realization became apparent – the plan hadn't gone exactly right. The buildings were shaking, the tops of the buildings crumbling; they weren't designed to take on tremors, that was obvious. Her scream pierced the air, and Aren winced – they so didn't need injuries on their part.
Growing a total of five feet taller, (a surprise to him... he'd not expected himself to be more than 10 feet tall) Aren bum-rushed the scene, side swiping Avalanche's ankle with perhaps a touch of unnecessary force. “Didn't your mother ever tell you not to hit a lady?” He scolded, chocolate eyes darkening.
Grabbing the man as he stood back up, Aren swung around knees tightening about Avalanche's shoulders, squeezing hard enough to try and keep him wavering. “I saw a movie where this worked...” The native muttered, thinking back on Hugh Jackman's role in Sherlock Holmes, just before expanding his arms and then clapping them simultaneously against Avalanche's ears. “Discombobulate.” He said, imitating the accent that Holmes had had.
Not even the earth mover had been prepared for the absurdity of it, and he teetered, eyes rolling upwards as his arms flailed trying to remove the pest on his back. But the boxing of his ears (literally) had been enough to stun him. “Now's a good time to hit him in the sack... or the rib cage... ” He said to his teammates, flashing a crooked grin in Kerri's direction. “Whoever said movies made your brains rot?”
Even as he said it, Aren's foot came around, landing a solid kick to Avalanche's kidneys and spine. “That's gotta hurt.” He said, eying his extra large foot appraisingly. Another quick few moves, and Aren had maneuvered himself in a position to slam Avalanche back, knocking his head into a brick wall just after jumping off of his shoulders.
The ground trembled in protest – obviously not a controlled use of Avalanche's power... a sign that they were wearing him down. The building behind them toppled, and Aren dove out of the way, leaving the villain to be encased by a massive pile of limestone. “Move!”
Dusting himself off, he searched to make sure the rest of the group wasn't in the pile of rubble. “Now...” Aren said, grinning a cheshire smile, a conceited lilt to his tone, ”Who's next?”▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂ ▂▂▂▂xxxxxxxxxxxx OOC: if this needs to be changed, let me know... trying to move things along.

Omega - Mall to Academy - Standing on the edge of oblivion
Even though he was going in and out of consciousness, somewhere in the back of his mind he knew he was losing this particular fight. Christian did what he could to try and buy a few more precious moments, but his breathing was slowing down and extremely hitched by the last time he slid away from the waking world. All that was left was for the final beats of his heart and the last ounce of blood to spill from his wounds. To his surprise, just as he was resigning himself to his fate, he was started back to life by the sensations of a heavy pressure being applied to his wound and the jostling of being picked up.
Through extremely pained and hazy eyes, Christian looked up to see Rogue carrying him. Just as quickly as he’d recognized her, he saw a blazing white light awash over him. Perhaps it wasn’t Rogue carrying him, but an angel meant to take him home. He didn’t rightly know as he’d slipped into unconsciousness again as Rogue began her sprint through Gateway’s portal. The knowledge that he was at least being whisked from the mall, no matter where he wound up, gave him the courage to at least keep fighting this as long as he could.
The next time Christian woke, which wasn’t but a moment or so later, was when he was laid carefully on a stretcher. Oddly, he didn’t feel much pain from the cuts on his back nor from his shattered arm; the wound on his chest monopolized that particular market. He was about to drift off yet again when he felt people tugging and cutting away the top portion of his uniform followed by a couple of needles puncturing his flesh. That sensation finally elicited a slight groan of pain from the lad as he was beginning to feel better almost immediately. He could only guess what it was that was being fed from those lines. Whatever worries he was having about his survival were put to rest when he saw the golden-skinned Elixir walking over to Christian’s stretcher, diligently inspecting the young mutant’s wounds. Within minutes, Christian could feel something prodding around inside of his chest wound, something that made breathing for him a Helluva lot easier. He didn’t know why, but the pain was tolerable to a point with whatever it was he was given, though feeling whatever it was poking around his chest cavity would not allow him a moment’s rest. Still, he kept his eyes closed, even when he felt Elixirtouch a finger to his broken arm to initiate the healing process.
Feeling himself on the mend, Christian began to silently damn himself. It was easy for him to look back now and think about his things could have been handled… though the situation could only have been dealt with in that same exact way. But, because of his haste in trying to make Mystique back down, the Alpha’s leader had taken a slug to the shoulder. Because of his inability to be aware of his surroundings, he’d almost paid the ultimate price. That didn’t bother him though. He knew exactly what it was he was trying to do when Creed had impaled him in the chest and he’d honestly hoped he’d bought Hoshi, and the as of now unknown brunette (Tara) time enough to get Leo the Hell out of there. That wasn’t even accounting for his fellow Omegas, Daylia and Megan. That’s what killed him the most about this whole situation. He felt like he’d let his team down and, in some strange way, felt like he had let Narcissa down. She gave him the opportunity to take the ball and run with it… and he fumbled it horribly. If there wasn’t two needles stuck in his arm, his hand would have assuredly been covering his face in shame.
He let out an audible sigh just when Elixir had finished using his powers on Christian. That was when he felt his injured arm move away from his body; if his left side wasn’t ground chuck, he’d have sat up in agony. But honestly, Christian felt better and knew he would still be kicking. Something was amiss though; there was still a copious amount of pain, most of it coming from his outstretched arm. Somehow, someway, he could just tell… “Same deal as before, Foley?,” Christian asked, his voice barely a croak. Elixir only looked over his shoulder briefly and nodded his head, no words spoken as he moved on to the next in need. That told Christian the whole story. Just like when he had his hand bitten clean through during the Limbo debacle, every broken bone in his body was only partially healed. By his count there were a lot of them; his forearm and wrist, his collarbone and God only knew how many ribs… all on one side of his body. Hopefully, he’d be able to tolerate the discomfort for the next few weeks.
Finally, he was able to open his eyes and keep them that way. Lifting his head up slightly, he inspected the damage. One of the medical assistants was working on putting a hard cast on his arm, a thin brace already taped into place. Continuing the inspection, it was rather hard to see through the dried blood painted on his torso, but he could faintly see the tints of purple and yellow peeking through in spots. He was almost immediately reminded of them as the same assistant who’d casted his arm began to try and gently wash away all that mess. She failed miserably as Christian intermittently winced in pain every few seconds.
He didn’t rightly know how it was that he was awake and relatively cognitive after everything that had happened. Perhaps it was the fresh pint of blood being drained into his body. Perhaps it was because of whatever pain med that was filtering in as well, a med that hardly worked. Maybe it was whatever Elixir did to help. Either way, he couldn’t rest quite yet, not with the same assistant beginning to wrap a massive Ace bandage around his torso, completely covering all the bruising and the fresh scar tissue. He thanked her as she finished up her duty and began to clean up the aftermath in the room, Christian’s opportunity to rest final at hand. As carefully as he could, he let his head fall back on his pillow, eyes cast towards the ceiling. Lying there, the gravity of the situation hit him harder than before; he DID almost die out there. Then and there, he started to question himself. Was he cut out for this life? He knew the dangers and risks that were associated with being a resident at the Academy and readily accepted it… but feeling someone’s hand buried halfway in his chest definitely exposed Christian to the harsh reality of said risks. Closing his eyes again, he finally was able to settle in get some sleep. He had no idea how much time had passed between leaving the mall and him getting medical attention, all he knew was he was going to need some time to come to terms with everything that had happened.

Name: Jacen Reilly [Kraken] Team: Omega Location: Rally Thoughts: Oh jeez, we're putting Jacen in teaching roles now?Jacen continued to dodge the metallic mandibles lunging at him. The Hexed iron was, unlike Jacen, NOT getting tired of the battle between them. The omega just couldn't think of a way to best the beastie. The ink he'd tried had no effect, and it wasn't like he could punch the metal. It was only after he'd flipped over it's snapping, rusted jaws one last time that his enemy was felled. He looked over his shoulder from his crouched landing position, watching as Narcissa shot the creature down. He breathed a sigh of relief, but was careful not to revel in this one small victory they had. Her question only brought him to glance down at himself for the first time since the fighting began. His arms were riddled with superficial scrapes, but the metallic monster hadn't seemed to cause any real damage. " Fa’afetai* Solaris, I'm just glad Hank made me get that tetanus vaccination thingie." He looked down as his leader scorched the still snapping head, before surveying the carnage still ongoing. Most of the civilians had managed to escape by now, but some, such as the ones in senator Kelly's hamster ball weren't so lucky. If he was a different person, he might have actually suggested surrender, on the conditions that Magneto call his soldiers off the fight too. But, like most others on his team defeat ( especially by surrender) was unthinkable. They'd just have to find a way to get out of this alive that didn't include bending to the will of a mad-man. "Ah, of course Solaris." Jacen said with only a twitch of a grin showing, though he knew she might not be kidding about kicking their collective keesters. One look at the mob of Morlocks, made him raise his brows. A ragtag bunch of sewer dwellers if he ever saw some. And all of them seemed to be wailing on Paladin with any manner of weaponry available. With a deep breath, he moved, reaching the fray in seconds and moving through it in less time, bobbing and weaving around swinging steel pipes and rusty switchblades to get to Roland. He landed what hits he could, but it was imperative he stay moving to make it harder for the attacking Morlocks to gang up on him. "Oi! Paladin! Flesh wounds only!" Jacen called when his teammate was in view, words punctuated by slight pauses as he dodged a tire iron and drove his elbow into a Morlock's gut. *Thank You

It looked as if Dimitri was going to be a father for the time being. Mostly because as he cleared the mall before he was in the zone for more s**t to go down such as the arrival of Scarlet Witch, Sabertooth, and more names on the injured list, there was no sight of the childrens' guardian. Dimitri would ask the children to see if she was around as they continued their evacuation but he ended up with no luck. "Next time we're on duty, im calling "not it" on being a chaperone." he thought. He wasn't completely serious but just would like to have more action next time. But seeing as how it was the x-men, more action may be too much for Dimitri to handle. Dimitri gave up on the lost cause trying to look for their guardian and decided to take them to the mansion instead the next best spot where they could be watched over till someone took them in. Before he got to tell the kids the slight change in plans, he heard Rogue give out the orders to go into the portal someone by the name of Gateway was cooking up.
Dimitri understood the orders but wasn' in range of Gateway's portal to get transported back to the academy. "I'd love to but i got kids and it's nowhere where we are. We'll take the shortcut and head there on foot." he told Rogue. When the children asked where they were going, he told them they were going back to his mansion; leaving out the part where mutants were living there was something he did on instinct. They were kids, but they were human. Luckily for Gateway and Dimitri's group's feet, he went by their way after picking up the main group back at the mall. The playboy quickly activated his communication device "Okay never mind, we got a ride." he told Rogue before he and the children went with Gateway. back home.(sry i took so long. blah post just to get dimitri back2base)

Alpha: Location - The Infirmary, So tired...|906|▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀
Bianca gently tested the dead weight of Aurelie a little worried that the blond was seriously injured from the bomb going off. The sound of the shields shattering still very fresh in her ears. It didn't sound or particularly look good right now. Turning to Alex Bianca gave the other girl a weak smile in response to her mentioning of her last attack being a good shot. "Thanks I just hope it's enough." Raine sent a smile her way as a way to say thanks for helping and Bianca did her best to return it not trying very hard to hide her exhaustion. It was too tiresome to try and hide it.
Alex grabbed Aurelie's feet and Bianca was very thankful as she felt some of the weight lift off her. Where this not such a serious situation where a quick escape was mandatory she would have left the other two to take care of extracting Aurelie. Just sitting down for a few minutes would help. Unfortunately time didn't permit rest and therefore she pressed on without stopping or slowing down. Alex asked Tsukino to form a shield around them to protect them and the woman did so.
That was good though Bianca still kept her eyes peeled for Toad waiting to ambush them again. That he was so willing to let the bomb be destroyed probably meant there was something just as destructive if not more so waiting beneath. Gideon asked if everyone was alright over the comm and shortly after Leo sent a message out in response to her broadcast. The order to retreat was expected. Gideon replied again and Bianca was about ready to answer him when Alex beat her to the punch.
After delivering her response Alex then asked if they thought they could handle it on their own. While Bianca wanted to keep the request for help open she felt that the others might need it more. "I think we can get her Flairer so we should probably let them know this. Otherwise we could pull valuable assistance from the others." Using her comm Bianca sent another message to Gideon. "We can handle it. Just make sure you get yourself out in one piece alright? I would be sad if you didn't."
Bianca didn't want to see Gideon hurt badly for more than one reason. One of those being that Bella would be upset but another because she thought of him as a friend even if they didn't talk a lot. It was the same with Dom. Silently she made a promise to try and talk to the two men more if they just got out of this all in one piece. The floor started to sink which just caused Bianca to try and move a little faster. Feeling the need to inform the others Bianca once again sent out a broadcast.
"The floor seems to be sinking here. Might want to make that an even speedier retreat if possible." Alex asked if that was a common thing in America and Bianca shook her head no. It was always something wasn't it? Or was this the same thing that had been triggered after the bomb? They made it outside and Bianca had to hold in a breath of relief as they headed towards a portal. It was freedom from the mall. Silently Bianca decided not to go to any kind of mall for a very long time.
Rogue spoke over the comm informing them of the portal and Bianca's eyes traveled over the man that was near the portal for a moment. His appearance was odd but not unheard of and therefore Bianca didn't spare it a second thought for now. Even that was tiresome. She didn't want to think anymore. Alex mentioned getting to the portal and Bianca gave her a faint nod. Next the blond mentioning them going through the portal first and short time later they were back at the academy. Back home.
Nodding in agreement to Raine Bianca let her feet move towards the infirmary. Several others asked them what happened however Bianca didn't respond. Bella had already moved through and she was eager to see how their team leader was fairing. Arriving at the infirmary it wasn't long before they were relieved of Aurelie and the blond was immediately being taken care of. Rubbing her tired shoulders Bianca allowed herself to be steered towards a bed by a nurse as the wound on her arm was cleaned and bandaged.
The time spent sitting was welcome however as more people entered for medical treatment Bianca refused to be looked at anymore despite knowing she had other injuries. They weren't life threatening. Getting up from her spot she immediately asked what she could do to help and as she was told moved to get it done quickly. Moving without thought and doing her best to ignore the ever increasing exhaustion she continued pushing herself to do what she could.
Then feeling that she was at her limit left the infirmary. She couldn't watch anymore and upon moving out of the way of all incoming traffic collapsed against the wall and slid down it slowly. Sitting down with her head laid back she closed her eyes in an attempt to wait for sleep to come. Briefly she wondered if Dimitri had got the children to safety. Her ears still searched for her name in case something else came up.

ℜ@√℮ +~+ Ѻмεgα- She's not going to punch me later is she? Rave had been poised and ready to run on the signal, with no Morlocks attempting to jump him he was free to get into a good position to dash right ahead at the signal. Just when he was about to rush forward, seeing Knoxx assaulting Avalanche, there was a scream from Psyche's general area. Leion turned his glance to the crumbling building across the street,he noticed nothing during his first look but as he continued to scan he saw a form kicking at the wall of the crumbling building, through the rain he couldn't really tell i it was Maddy, but she was (assumed to be) the only person on that building. He cursed under his breath turning his head back towards Avalanche to see a Large Aren bum-rushing him, not waiting to see the result he used a burst to head to the dangling figure. As he got closer he was reassured by the fact that the figure at least seemed to be wearing an Omega uniform. The assumed Psyche, was a multitude of feet above him, not a distance he could cover with his bursts, but he did have something he could do in this situation. It would wear him out but it could save a teammate so the was no question, if he could just get to a distance where she could drop safely he shouldn't pass out from the strain. Leion sidestepped a foot or two and made a disc-shaped platform just barely big enough for two people "I'm coming up, let go in about thirty seconds!" he shouted up knowing he couldn't drop his focus while making a disc float with two people or his could end up searing something off. He shut his eyes tightly and focused on lifting the disc with his added body weight, thirty seconds would be enough time to float to a distance that would be a relatively safe fall if his disc didn't hold. he would have to brace himself for the impact of the fall or Psyche's added weight could knock him out cold. Daylia Astralloxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Team Omegaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Location: Mall then through the portal to the Academy. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Daylia had helped Sidetrack to his feet. She couldn’t help but smile at the response he had given her. "Think we could find a collection case big enough for this one?" She asked. Daylia could see the fear in the bug woman’s eyes, or at least as much fear as they could show. What was she so scared of now? It couldn’t be just the two Omegas, could it? She shook the thought away as she put a little distance between Christian and herself. Though before she could make any big moves the Asian was taken care of by one of the other Alpha’s. "Huh." Though before she could do much more, four shots rang out though the mall.
Immediately Daylia’s hands rose to her head as she ducked slightly. Oh hell, was that blue b***h back now? The shots had sounded from behind he read headed mutant, to which the whirled around after composing herself slightly. Though nothing in the world could prepare her for what she saw. It was a massive beast of a man, something wild, something hungry, something Daylia never wanted to come up against. It was Sabertooth. The large animalistic man was gonging up against Christian. The other Omega yelled something about leaving after causing the large man-animal to crash though a store front. She shook her head, her face angry. Why was it everyone’s solution to sacrifice themselves for everyone else? She knew a few of them could take it, but the majority couldn’t. They could be killed instantly.
Daylia had taken only once step towards her teammate before the brute was back on him, and this time things didn’t end well. It was seconds before the creature, for to Daylia that’s all Sabertooth was to her, dropped the horribly injured Sidetrack. She felt her stomach tighten and her whole body tense up. Surely he was already dead, beyond anyone’s help. Her free hand was clamped over her mouth as she silently prayed to whatever god or deity was up that that the poor boy wouldn’t go out like that. Her eyes then turned to the massive man that had come to face the rest of the group. What was she going to do? From what she remembered, the man had a good sense of smell, and even going camo on him wouldn’t help. And nothing was going to just let her stand there as another bled out, no matter if he was past helping or not.
Though thankfully no rash decisions had to be made on Daylia’s part. Rogue had stepped in on Christian’s behalf. She struck the creature before carrying Christian off into a portal that had appeared. Though where they went, she wasn’t quite sure. Seconds later a message came over the coms, telling them that a mutant named Gateway would take them home through a portal. Good escape plan.
Daylia turned and moved off, looking for this mutant, only to find some old man pointing towards a portal. It wasn’t quite what the read head had expected, but she went with it. Others had already gone through, so why should she give it a second thought? "Thank you." Daylia said to the man that reminded her slightly of Gandhi before actually stepping though the portal.
It was slightly disorienting when Daylia stepped through the portal, only to come out in front of the Academy. People were already waiting to take care of those who were injured. She stepped to the side, and began to pace back and forth as she raised her com to her lips, switching the channel to that of the Omega leader, Narcissa. "We pulled out. Too many injured to go on." She said before pausing. "Sabertooth showed up… He got to Sidetrack." She said, still pacing back and forth. This was just too much. What were they expected to do here?
