Justin looked at Tails. "Don't worry. you'll be fine!" He told the little fox. He then jumped, grabbing the vine and swinging to the other side with a Tarzan yell.

"Look, if you really don't want to swing over, just do your helicopter thing." Rouge said, and flew over to the other side.
"Thanks for the reminder." Tails spun his tails around. They were like a propeller, lifting him into the air. He hovered to the other side, then landed on his feet.
"And yet you aren't afraid to do that?" Knuckles raised his eyebrows. He swung over next.
"When I'm in a plane, I have an engine keeping me up, and when I use my tails, I have them keeping me up. But here, I have a VINE keeping me up. And I have a horrible grip."
"Sadly, this is very true. But anyhow, let's go find ourselves a chameleon!" Sonic clasped his hands together, spinning around and marching off.
"Something tells me that we aren't just tracking Espio...." Knuckles said, shrugging. He and Shadow followed Sonic.
"Damn, that feeling won't shake off...." Rouge muttered, glancing back the way they came. Nevertheless, she ran after the others.

Justin followed the others, hearing what Knuckles said. He then remembered what he heard after Shadow killed the fake Espio. He had no idea who or what that was, but it gave him an eerie feeling.

"I hear there are giant frogs in this jungle that can summon rain. Probably just a fairy tale, though." Knuckles said, glancing around as they walked.
A loud croak. Rain fell.
Knuckles looked up into the air, feeling the drops on his face. "Okay, that is highly illogical right there."
Sonic and Tails laughed, while Rouge smiled slightly. Shadow, naturally, made no comment.

Justin couldn't help but laugh. Knuckles kinda had that coming for doubting the awesome rain frogs!

"Unless there are amphibians that can summon chameleons, let's just keep moving." Shadow said.
"Hmmm...Anyone have some flies? They're Espio's favorite food, and seem to attract him." Sonic said thoughtfully.
"Ugh, gross. I didn't need to know that." Rouge said, sticking out her tongue.
Knuckles raised his eyebrows. "What, he never showed up out of nowhere whenever you squished a fly and asked if he could have it?"
Rouge's eyes widened. "HE ATE THEM?! I thought he just collected them or something! Okay, I think I'm going to be sick...."
"Don't bats eat insects too?"
"Maybe SOME bats. But thankfully, my mom ate fruit. Which explains my love for berries."

Justin grinned at the humorous scene, then had an idea. "The fly thing actually sounds like a good idea, though. Then again, he might know we're coming for him again, and he might somehow be listening in on us." He told the others.

"We'll try it once we get closer to where ever he is. There are a lot of flies in the jungle. He won't be able to locate just one."
"Well what do you suppose we do then?" Sonic leaned against the trunk of a tree. "I mean, it's not like we've discovered some secret passage which leads right into his BAAASE!" He fell backwards, and it seemed like he was rolling down a staircase. A thump, indicating he'd reached the bottom. "I'm okay...."
"If that isn't ironic, I'm not sure what is." Tails said.

Justin smiled, holding in a few laughs. "Good job, Sonic!" He called out to his friend. This was actually quite lucky, even if it was at Sonic's expense.

"Smooth, Hedgehog. Real smooth." Shadow said sarcastically, descending the staircase. Rouge, Knuckles, and Tails followed. It led into a dark, metal room.
"Why do you call me 'Hedgehog?'" Sonic asked, getting to his feet and rubbing his head. "First off, we're both mutant hedgehogs, and two, we're only HALF hedgehog."
"Sixty percent. The other fourty is your human genes. I'm a mix of human, hedgehog, and Black Arm." Shadow corrected him. "And I've always called you Hedgehog. Why should I stop?" He turned away, ending the conversation.
"I still can't get over the fact he have alien cells in him." Knuckles muttered, probably mostly to himself, as he was gazing around, hands in pockets.
"Kind of like I can't get over the fact that you're part echidna?" Rouge said, putting a hand on her hip.
"Why? Did you find out what it is?"
"Apparently, it's pretty much a spiney anteater. Which explains your hair."
"Great. Now I know three people who come from animals that eat insects."

Justin chuckled, following the others into the metal room. He then looked around the room for any sign of danger, but it was too dark to see. He kinda missed his suit. The thing had night vision, and it could fly! Maybe he could have Tails alter it to work with his ice demon form sometime.

The treetrunk slammed close with a bang, making Rouge, Tails, and even Knuckles spin around at it. It was now pitch-black.
"Great! Now it's even darker then before! Hey, is that you Shadow?"
"I swear to God Hedgehog DO NOT TOUCH ME THERE!" A crack and thump, followed by Sonic's groan of pain.
"Yep, dat's you...."
A light appeared. "I brought a flashlight." said Tails, pointing it around at everyone. He saw Shadow's fist outstretched, and Sonic on the ground, nose bleeding.
"Damn, I was aiming to kill." Shadow said. He didn't sound like he was joking. But then again, he never did.
"It was dark! How was I supposed to know my hand was-"
Knuckles cleared his throat. "Anyway...." he said, louder then usual. "Guess we should probably check around for either a door or lightswitch, huh?"

Justin nodded, feeling a bit bad for Sonic's little accident. Sure, this would normally be funny, but with Shadow, the humor died real quick. He then looked around, finally finding a light switch on the wall. He flipped it on, and the room became illuminated.

Tails' flashlight flashed at a corner. Tails himself looked freaked.
"Hey, what's up? You look like you've seen Tails Doll." Rouge asked him.
"For a second....I....I thought I did....." He said, eyes wide. "H-he was....staring at us. But.....his eyes.....they....they were pure red."
Moment of silence.

Justin was unsure of what to say to that. Doll has always been creepy. But, normally, his eyes weren't red. Just the light on his head.
