Ember took his share of the food and handed his brother his plate. He then made his plate levitate. Eating as he played. "Let us start the game Little Brother".

Zarlight had remained quiet the entire time. Though he chuckled as Crimson explained his eating habits. If the demons thought him bad now they should have seen him when he was teething. His mother and father almost lost limbs quite often.
Still the way the new demon, Ember spoke hurt his ears. He got up and made his way over to them. "Why do you shout when you talk? It hurts you know," he said. He blinked at the checker pieces curiously before picking a spare up. He sat down on the edge of the bed and stared at it intently. Finally he looked up when Zero and Luna came in. He was shocked at how sick they looked.
Not paying attention he popped the piece into his mouth, chewed and swallowed as he went over to them. He took both their hands and started dragging them to their rooms to rest.

They blink and look at Zarlight"We need to give our master his food and his brother something since he most likely hasn't eaten"

"Zarlight don't you dare eat that, it's not food. If your hungry go get some of the bread you and Zero made yesterday." He then took the plate and put it on his lap then took his pieces and laid them out on the board while eating a piece of bacon.

They where not braking any rules so Ember ignored them. He read his book as he played. The book was on rare and dark species. "This is how I talk. I will not change that for a slave".

Zarlight smiled with relief and led them to their rooms. He tucked each of them into bed. While he was tucking Zero in he looked at him. "I'll try not to attack you any more Zero, but I need exercise. This place is too small for me," he said. His eyes darkened with saddness. He missed his home.
He had pretty much ignored both brothers though he heard Ember clearly when he finally answered him. He winced a little.

Crimson was used to his brother's loud way of talking so it didn't bother him... much, but already being injured and not having taken his pain pills yet he was starting to get a headache. He winced a bit as a sharp pain shot through his ribs, but continued to eat the food and act like nothing was bothering him.

Ember took out a blue vile. "Here, it is elvish pain killer". He said, his voice slightly lower.

Zarlight smiled. "Really? I'm in human form now, can you show me when you wake up?" he asked. He blinked at Zero's next words. "Stay near you? Like a herdmate?" he asked. He smiled wider and nuzzled Zero. He was happy a girl had thanked him. If he ever got home he could tell the others. Females were a rare thing back home.

He took the vial and drank it. "Thanks bro. I haven't had a chance to take one of the pills today." he finished the food and placed the plate on the floor. "Ok let's play. No cheating."
