食 Skimming the edge of the forest Chōumei would put down Kirumi and would start looking around at the forest trying to get a sense for what might of changed in terms of the balance of the nature here. She'd familiarized herself with the area awhile back when the hokage had her got through that tricky dang test. Either way she wasn't completely resigned to basing her approach on the situation on Kiru-chan and Tsu-chan's abilties, but she'd appreciate the help. "Almighty we're here, and from the looks of things the place is a bit shifted around...even more than I left it. forest Kami forgive me. Lets move ahead with caution from here. not sure of what's going on exactly, but we're supposed to give support. Yasu-chin got into somethin and the details weren't quite clear what, but I'm bettin it's has to that chaos behind us and the explosion at the hokage's office. Since we don't have to much time to waste I can't just have you (kiru-chan) and Tsu-chan stand here while feeling out the place we should act on the go. alright? Osu."
Ending on that point Chōumei would begin to dash through the forest keeping an even pace so she wasn't moving too quickly and too deeply into the forest trying to look for signs of where Yasu-chin ad the others were.
((OOC:: Komo & Kiru either of you guys can just lead us to Yasu whenever Chōumei will follow as it's relevent. From there we get filled in by Azy and we do the mission since I think the other team fell out of it. )

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXTsubaki followed Choumei closely, ignoring the gnawing in her gut and instead focusing on her faith in her team. Yasu needed them! She'd be damned if she was going to leave him in the wind.
Choumei introduced them to the mission a bit more and requested a sensor technique. She didn't hesitate in forming her hand seal and creating an eye of dirt, closing her left to do so. The eye ball appeared far ahead and above them, peering into the forest for her. She moved her closed eye around until her earth eye found what she was looking for; her teammate. "He's forty yards ahead, twenty yards to the right." Her telepathy was forgotten in the face of results. She looked to Choumei for her order to move forward. Anything could be happening ahead, though she hadn't seen a huge hazard. She turned to glance at Kirumi and offered a comforting smile. The village was in chaos but if they could stay strong, then the village would too. (OOC Feel free to do the leading, Kiru. Didn't want to make your post just following and waiting lol.)

Daisan no Me [ The Third Eye ] Rank: E Official Description: Daisan no Me is a Ninjutsu technique unique to the Sand ninja Gaara. Created out of sand, the Eye allows Gaara to view an opponent when he is either encased in his Suna no Muya or when he needs to be able to see his opponent's actions when he has no clear line of sight with his own eyes. Guild Description: Making a single handsign, the user will focus on a single point, & the eyeball will form there from sand around them. Holding one eye closed, one will be able to use the Third Eye as they would normally. A better version of the Maruton version.
Kirumi furrowed her brows, still very upset that she had lost Yasuhiro thanks to the crowd of people managing to block her vision of the male. She was finally put down by Choumei and brief about what their assignment was now that they were near the scene of the event. Hopefully this support mission would not turn into something they could not handle. She did her best to help Tsubaki scan the area for Yasu, letting out a sigh of relief as he was found. "Then we need to get him. Let's hurry!" The young Yamanaka let out before running ahead of the two squad mates. She did her best to remain out of clear sight, though her haste had made her quite forgetful of hers training. I just hope it's not too late... She thought to herself, not bothering with letting her thoughts out in the telepathic bond the three of them shared.
As the squad was reunited in one location, enemy forces moved in another location. The Squad still had not arrived to the location of the 'Pandora' but heavy winds would begin to buffet through the woods as they traveled. Beasts of various natures could be seen as the group traveled through the underbrush, or along the trees, but none seemed too concerned with the group of Shinobi. Instead, while the smaller beasts burrowed or scampered into their nests, larger beasts, such as wolves, bears, and the famous Konoha deer made a mad dash in the opposite direction of the squad.
A large cry could be heard over the forest, the calling of another animal, but from their position, they couldn't discern nor see the beast itself. They could only tell it came from the direction they needed to travel.

Chōumei Sue Akamichi || Rank :: Konohagakure | Title: Genin | Rank: D || Class :: Performer/ Bukijutsu || Chakra :: 400/400 || Stamina :: 180/180
食 As Tsu-chan sighted Yasu and his position Chōumei was silently relieved to see he wasn't in any immediate danger and her waited for the back up and wasn't pushed into a corner by the enemy. Young Kiru-chan made her move forward ahead of the pack of three kunoichi as she'd been given the news of Yasu-chin's position and made her stride quicker than even Chōumei would of assumed her capable. Yet as they approached and whatever laid deeper in the woods ahead seemed to cause a tempestuous winds build against them, not to any hindering effort but obviously of an unnatural growth of resistance in the air as if calling for the group to retreat back away from their coarse of action. Out of the underbrush emerged the animals of the forest in clear appearance to Chōumei to be in retreat from her familiarity with the animals given her religions connection to the natural state of balance of the human world and animals concerning a mutual respect. Whatever was ahead was clearly in violation of this and causing even the more actively dangerous and defensive animals to flee in fear. Something unnatural and clearly powerful, but Chōumei had to move forward. Partially because her body seemed not to have the motive to double back, but to only bend and swerve in a pursuit to reach her goal. Which often she'd ignore the option of for the transparency of simply breaking through to the answers and real threat at hand, Chōumei was brave, in the most honest and ditzy definition of lacking the fear on a primeval level.
Coming to Yasu'chin's side finally Chōumei would come in low to the ground using the retreating animals as some form of cover but not straying far from Kiru-chan's approach. Watching out for her by looking ahead and around as they weren't certain they weren't dipping a toe into a pool of danger already just given that continued retreat of the animals, there didn't seem to be a safe space established anywhere near where they were. using the mental connection Chōumei would remind Kiru-chan to use her small er stature to her advantage if she found herself over zealous about their reunion, "Kiru-chan keep to the thicker tree cover and brush so mask you movement, even slower reflexes can spot flashes of color and motion and your bright hair is easily picked up on. As is mine. We've got to keep our aces hidden. Chōumei's school of ninja-ing 101! Osu!" Coming in with something of a somersault into a roll over to Yasu Chōumei would pop up on one knee between Yasu-chin and who'd she'd assume was the other teams member. Looking intensely at Yasu-chin Chōumei would say one thing audibly as she was sure she was just behind Kiru-chan and not shortly followed by Tsu-chan. "Don't worry shuagah bee's, Cavalry's here. Osu. LINK UP." Chōumei wasn't sure if Tsu-chan or Kiru-chan was already on it but they needed to establish a connection between Yasu-chin again and the other squads remaining member. From there all interaction would be in thought.
"Alright if everyone linked up, sound off with your name and we can get the report on the scenario from Yasu, and establish a formation, but just so you know. I'm's the Vanguard Shugah, OSU!"
((OOC:: I ant this to go in rounds until e meet the enemies directly and their involvement forces need for post order. Yet until then a free understanding that we all post once before going again should be fair, order revolving around relevance and ability to post. Also sorry about the late post, but i wasn't sure until like Saturday that I was up first. Anyway I'd say Yasu or Kiru makes the most sense to go next since Kiru was ahead of Chōumei in approach, and Yasu's the first man on scene with the planning capabilities Chōumei lacks in character. )

First thing was the explosion, and man was it a cracker. While he had written that area off as to protected it was clear that he was wrong. No, he was not wrong, the anbu had failed. Did they really though? or was he simply wrong. Either way it wasnt acceptable to him. Shaking his head he put his back to the trees center as herds upon herds of animals poured away from whatever it was that was pursuing them. That in and of itself was something that he had to figure out, and fast. He was a Nara, and his family looked after this forest and its animals with exacting precision. The deer were not like normal deer, they were tough, brave, and territorial. Which all begged the question as to what the living hell that was. No matter how he tried, no matter how hard he thought, he couldn't come up with an answer. No predator, no beast, no man, nothing. There was nothing and no one in this forest that could make this many creatures flee and certainly not with that wide of a scope. No this was something primal, primal...
Whatever it was it spoke to a fear that was ingrained into each and every one of these animals on an instinctual level. Just like how humans fear the dark and fear the unknown. Despite the small amount of progress he had actually managed to make in this brain buster it still did not bring him any closer to figuring out what the actual hell that creature, that predator, was. The problem was how would this predator impact the mission. They still had a mission to do, they had to recover that box, that pandora arm.
It was then that his trains of thought was broken by, much to his relief, Choumei. Giving a smile and a nod at her comment,"Damn good timing too." Closing his eyes he awaited the mental linkage he knew would happen and once it had he took a deep breath and began,"So heres the skinny ladies, gentlemen and others. Were looking at a object recovery mission, against an unknown number of enemies with skill levels somewhere between your average academy student and a B ranked criminal. So unknown size and unknown strength, fun right? We are looking after a small black box and frankly speaking,"
He tried to hide the small pangs of fear he felt tingling in his back,"I have no idea what to do, or what the hell that thing thats coming this way is. But I will say this, our objective is not to fight every enemy here, its not to kill whatever that thing is. All we have to do is find that box and get out of here. There is no point in fighting that thing or these forces if we dont have to. I cant speak for the rest of you but I have no desire to risk my own life or more importantly any of yours, just to say we managed to kill a few criminals or take down some beast. Its just not worth it."
While in truth he did have a bit of a more detailed plan and one that he could pull off himself without risking anyone else he wanted to hold that in reserve and hold it back for now. Taking a knee he curled his hand into one half of a ram seal and began to pour his chakra into the exceptionally large pool of shadows he had to draw upon right now to create a circle around the opening. If anything, or anyone, stepped into, onto, over, or near, said shadow he would be more than able to ensnare them if only for a few seconds. Which for him, was more than enough as it gave him the time he would need to see, think, and plan.
Moving along the route towards Yasu, Kirumi looked towards Choumei as she reminded her of the both of their bright colored hair being a prime target to be picked off one by one. The plan to keep to the treetops was a pretty good one, considering that Kirumi had forgone her instinct in order to save her partner from whatever danger lied ahead. Those animistic cries didn't sound to be any kind of beast she was aware of. As commanded, Kirumi hopped upwards, concealing her hair by quickly moving among the cover of the treetops. Upon arrival at Yasu's side with Choumei beating her by a few seconds, Kirumi couldn't help but hug the dark skinned man for a moment, using her mental link with the group to say "I'm sorry for losing you in the village! The crowd confused me until Choumei got me. It's my fault, I'm sorry..." Furrowing her brows and pouting at whatever their rebuttal was, she listed in on Yasu's explanation of what the situation was.
It was just like one of those retrieval missions that was talked about at the academy, though something told her this was a tad more dangerous than what they meant. The objective in general was a black box that seemed to hold something important inside to cause whatever kind of beasts to be unleashed on Yasu and his companion. Kirumi felt anxious as she listened in, glancing at Choumei and fidgeting a bit. WHy did she have to be the weakest link on the group? She frowned before forcing some confidence out of her while she watched Yasu perform a jutsu using a hand seal while hoping that they could create some kind of plan for this mission. "So we don't know where the box or anything is, right?" Kirumi said through the telepathic link. "I wish I could be more useful I don't think..." The young Yamanaka thought to the group before he mind started to wonder how this retrieval could be done. Drawing upon nothing, she gave a frustrated sigh. "Osu...This is harder than we thought..."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXChoumei was just in front of Tsubaki during their adventure in the forest, so the medic stopped just short of the leader and let her command a link between them and Yasu. Obeying, she then listened to the Nara brief them on the situation at hand. Unknown combatants between academy and jounin, huh? Fun. She furrowed her brow at the objective being a small box, but she didn't speak (or think).
She agreed with his assessment of their goal, but it led to a question. "Is someone going to play stealth and sneak to the box when we find it, while the rest of us distract any surrounding beasts?" It was the first idea that popped into her head after he said they didn't need to fight anything. That plan was worrying, though, and she prayed that Yasu and Choumei had a secret up their sleeve. They obviously couldn't take a whole army. "Are we sure this thing ain't human or an illusion?" She'd picked up on the beast mention, and she wasn't sure if it was worse to fight man or monster. She walked past her group and kept scanning the area. They sure as hell weren't going to find the box while standing around just talking about it. Planning could be multi-tasked with scouring the forest, as she was modeling.

Chōumei Sue Akamichi || Rank :: Konohagakure | Title: Genin | Rank: D || Class :: Performer/ Bukijutsu || Chakra :: 400/400 || Stamina :: 180/180
食 noticing the aura of stress coming from Yasu-chin, Chōumei kept it in her subconscious to be weary even if it wasn't her default level of attention to the presence of danger. Yasu-chin was strong, there was something about his persona that just read like that at face value, but his strong mind also made him aware of his weaknesses and when facing a vacuous void of possibilities a mind such as his couldn't help but drift into the darker regions of the mind and predict the terrors that laid ahead. Fear was rational, but Chōumei made little time for it, it seemed to only stand in her way, but if it was her dictating her actions in heed of Yasuhiro's fears or caution she'd be fine with slowing her pace and thinking more than a few minutes at a time. Remaining silent and letting Yasu-chi's thoughts fill her head along with the others Chōumei would begin to move to a position so she could get a better look on the direction the animals had been retreating from, no longer looking at Yasu but still acknowledging his words. Noticing the expanding Shadow Chōumei figured it was Yasu-chin creating a "safe space" in case the were to be ambushed. Tsu-chan followed up Yasu's mind for tactic's with her own speculation to the mix, but Speculation wasn't going to get them far. They need to make a formation and get moving before whatever was between them and this box took it or it came and took them out before having even the chance to put eyes on the thing.
Tensions running a bit high and feeling the stress building Chōumei would announce the next move, " Nihongo and supporter (if Toxic's still in this thing), We're gonna have Yasu and Tsu-chan be team B in a two part retrieval operation, one for e stealth as Tsubaki pointed out as a tactic and Team A as decoy and main opposition. Both teams retain the same task and so we're afforded few elements of surprise. So Team B cannot support A before confirming the position of the Box. Primary focus is on that until then Team A will have to hold out and reach deep enough to both face and develop tactics and an understanding of the enemy. Team A will be me, Kiru-chan and the supporter, but Kiru-chan you're to stay in our shadow and trail our actions not directly fighting. this way we'll have you for medical and mental support by Kai'ing us out of any advanced illusions. My Genjutsu training makes me pretty good at working around that kind of stuff but we don't know the tactics of the enemy and someone's gotta face the brunt of the storm to know which way the winds blowing. So Kiru-chan remember what I said about stealth and work on methods to give support with out being seen. If you're noticed stick close to me. Yasu-chin and Tsu-chan I'm trusting you guys in working out the best way to pin down exactly where the box is. I'll keep in mind i don't have to fight all the enemies and drawing them out or riling them up isn't necessary, but i need yo guys to be ready for possible traps on your end too since your mission is to be first on sight with the objective.OSU! Nihongo., if you've got the picture lets move~ on out! And may the Kami-sama's guide and protect you."
Chōumei was mustering as much tactical mojo she could build as she'd had the time to work with given Yasu's cover. though she wasn't letting up on the time sensitive situation. The details were worked out by her team, but Chōumei worked out the positions based on what she saw in her friends and squadmates. Tsu-chan had more progressed sensing skills than Kiru-chan and she was fairly better suited for stealth, but she need a foil and support for more dangerous situations and greater numbers, Yasu-chin and her made the best team. Kiru-chan had a ember of a flame that needed a bit of fanning to start the wild fire of potential she held. So her position to play support to the highlighted "team A" was something that allowed her to get a feel for what it meant to hold a persons life in your hands in various ways as well as build confidence in seeing the value of her position. Chōumei's own placement was playing on her strength, draining attention, muscling through with endurance and a bit of mystique on her side. She wasn't good at math but she figured Yasu-chin would figure out the percentage of how well this build could work. Stepping out from the cover she'd been in and calling out to Yasu-chin who should of been already moving Chōumei would begin to move forward at a walking pace and then start picking up speed, drawing her Nodachi at the ready.
"Yasu-chin shugah you've probably plugged the numbers on this, but what you thin our chances are in numbers. All's I got is this gut feeling, but It's a good one. Like when you're about to have your first kiss. I like trusting that feeling but your words just as good too.

As Nihongo approached the clearing at a breakneck pace, what would confront them would be something far different than they would initially expect. A Grand Condor had nested down in the clearing, its wings outstretched as it lay overtop of the stump that the item would be resting upon. The bird threw its head back and screeched at the shinobi as they approached.
The creature itself seemed extremely territorial, using its wings to guard over something before it, while its head poked out from above them to watch the forest around it. A thick bone-like carapace could be seen upon the creature's head and neck, as well as the edges of it's wings.
Calling again, it maintained its position and awaited to see if the humans that had wandered into its presumed nesting ground would dare to move further.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXThe orders were out and Tsubaki had a job to do. She put her hands together as she kept her eyes on the new arrival (a giant-a** bird?) and covered her left eye so a dirt one appeared. The third eye floated high, high above the clearing. She was very careful in bringing it down without catching the bird's attention. "Could you distract it?" She whispered to no one in particular as she focused on the task at hand. The eye fluttered around for another minute and looked nearly frantic in all of it's turning. "I can't get a clear visual," she observed. They would need to force the bird to move or flap its wings so she could check undernearth.
So, Kirumi thought it was her fault they got separated, when in fact it was his fault for rushing ahead. With a sigh he made a mental note to deal with it later. For now he listened to Chou-chans mental plan. In all respects it was a decent plan and he gave his full support of it. Nodding quickly when she explained his part he smiled and turned on heel,"Sounds good sis, watch your rear out there." He mentally passed along the link with a smirk.
Tapping Tsubaki on the shoulder as he passed her he continued jumping from tree to tree to around the clearing until he was on the opposite side of Tsubaki with the bird directly between the two of them. Then once he was upon a suitably large enough branch he knelt down on said branch and closed his eyes and slowed his breathing.
For a time the only thing that his team would feel through the mental link was a rush of numbers and chess movements, a blur of racing thought as is brain raced, each move plotted, each mistake mitigated, contingencies, plans, all mixed in a blur of emotion and for just the briefest moments, if they wanted, they would get to see what it was like to think like a Nara, at nearly double the normal rate of cognitive processing.
Then, as if a light was flipped, nothingness. No thoughts no emotions, nothing. Taking a deep breath he turned in place and put his back to the tree. His fingers came to chest level as he formed a seal slowly and began. For now nothing was happening within the circle but if either Kirumi or Tsubaki looked down the ring of black around the clearing was fading quickly to its normal tone of shade.
However on his side of things deep within the forest Yasu's shadow was racing connecting every ounce of shadow he possibly could. When they were ready, when they found the box, nothing would stop him from taking it. Not the condor, not the bandits, nothing.

Walking to the other man, he handed him the Ryo back, returning all of it. Pulling out a Kunai, Kyo kept his eyes open, watching and waiting for their backup. Three people emerged into their clearing, Kyo raising his kunai, but lowering it quickly upon seeing the headbands bearing the Konoha mark. Winds began to whip and billow around them, wolves, bears and even the bravest deer in the world all scurried away, fleeing from.... something. Kyo turned to Yasu, about to ask if he knew what that was, when above the canopy of the forest, a loud cry of some other creature called out. The cry wa from the direction they needed to go.
The arrival of two women he had seen in the Hokage's office, and one he saw in the Dojo was first made by the fair skinned blonde, then shortly after the dark skinned one. The purple haired female was the last to arrive as the leader told them the cavalry was there and told them to link up. The purple haired female connected their minds together as Kyo's thoughts began to broadcast to everyone. "Link up? I don't understand, I don't have a radio or communication device." He visibly jumped when voices began to broadcast directly into his mind. He looked at the others defensively, "Can they hear my thoughts? Probably... Oh, uh, Kyo Satetsu!" He said, still not understanding how the whole mind communication worked. His confusion was clearly broadcast to the linked minds while Yasu went on to explain their mission to the others. Managing to hide away his confusion as questions began to be asked, he knew it'd be able to be saved for later, if there was time.
He listened to all of them without a reply, learning the names of all of them while Chōumei came up with a plan of action. The retrieval team would be the purple haired one, Tsu, and Yasuhiro, while decoy and opposition team would consist of himself and the two blondes, Chōumei and Kiru. They were to distract the enemy while Yasu and Tsu searched for the black box. They all moved out, advancing through the forest while weapons were drawn. They made it to another clearing, and in the center was a strange bird creature, wings outstretched over a stump it was roosting upon. Putting the kunai back, Kyo drew the Wakizashi from it's sheath on his waist, the bird screeching at them. It began to guard whatever it was hiding, and it seemed to have a bone-like almost exoskeleton on its wing edges, neck and head. Yet again, it screeched as they all drew near.
Tsu asked for a distraction, unable to get a clear view of what was under it's wing. He was thinking, extremely slow, compared to Yasu, about how he wanted to attack or go about distracting the bird. The processing and speed of how Yasu thought bore against Kyo's mind, almost unbearable. Blocking him out, he thought aloud to the group, "Chōumei, what do you think?" As Choumei gave the group a rundown on the plan to retrieve the box, the tiny Yamanaka couldn't help but feel slightly envious of her squad leader's ability to command. It was a talent very few possessed in her eyes, and she wished she could be of more use to the team rather than "scouting and supportive". Although one would question why she chose to study medical techniques rather than something more straight forward if she did not want to be support. Besides that, the plan did seem quite strong, though mostly due to Kirumi believing that the weakest link would remain, hopefully, hidden among the trees as the rest of the forces fought on the ground. "I got it. I'll try my best not to drag the team down. Oh-OSUUU..." Kirumi said using the telepathic link, copying Choumei's tone, though sounding a tad anxious about the outcome of the mission.
As if on que, the group encountered what looked like a gigantic bird roosting in the clearing of the forest, emitting a loud screech as its wings covered over something within its grasp. Could it be that box that Yasu-chan and co had spoken about? Perhaps, but they would first have to see what was under the bird's wings. Was that really a bird or anything? Tsubaki whispered something about distracting the bird, though she doubted that anything would get the bird to focus all of its attention on it. The child focused on Yasu as he began to work his magic doing something with the shadows of the forest that his clan was well known for. She had no idea what that was, but there was a ring around the forest that was a darker shade of color than normal that was quickly reverting back to what many people would consider normal. She remained quiet, glancing towards every person of the group with a pout on her face, frustrated about her lack of abilities.
