Zar didn't stop writing as he looked up to eye Sammy and take note of the dragon boil's very direct assault on the apparently unarmed man.

"Oh the laws mean nothing to them but I'm certain the laws mean very specific things to the boogeymen."

He went back to his work, ignoring the chaos. "Vigilantism is such a tedious pastime."

"Not to mention death." He mumbled in agreement with the ghoul, shrugging his shoulders. "They seem to love popping in at the most..opportune moments. Though honestly you didn't miss much, i got here just when this other guy was found."

Remi then just STARED at the Cerberus after he spoke, a look of surprise and horror. Really Thackery?

Remis hand suddenly flew out of no where, and clamped itself over the other boils mouth. "No Thackery don't draw his attention!" Remi being a chicken? Probably. Though some quick thinking... "I bet he doesn't know anything about them anyways." The cloaked man seemed a bit stupid honestly. Not like they usually were, a guise maybe?

"...Im Remi, by the way." He tossed over his shoulder, not forgetting the presence of the doll-like ghoul. He was just uh, a little preoccupied trying to key a certain puppy from being stupid.

"Puny mortals, my infinite wisdom is not nearly enough for you to process, no amount of asking about butts or keys will - ARGGGGGG!"

And as Sammy and Jericho hit the figure, they dissolved.

No seriously, there was a poof, and they pretty much exploded in a shower of dust and grime.

Leaving a single glowing cell phone behind along with the cloak.

"Sweet! Souvenier." Vaith said, as he picked up the skellyphone and cloak in each hand.

Huh. Password. It was asking for a password .. Picking up the phone, Vaith decided to hand it around to anybody who had an idea of the password.

"Secret Cave .. and passwords. Anybody got an idea about this? Let's take turns with this password thing."

Alex felt much more more relieved now that Yin was moving towards them. He didn't mind fighting, if that's what needed to be done, but he'd rather do it with Yin by his side, where he felt like he had a better chance of keeping him safe. He gave Danny a thankful look, glad that she was able to explain pretty much exactly what he was feeling, before adding in. "I know you can take care of yourself and you probably feel like you don't need me holding you back Yin but..what if it was me putting myself in harms way? I don't think you'd like that either" He said it quietly, while also trying to focus on everything that was happening around the room, and what the other students were doing. If he noticed any flame lighting up on Danny's hand that was furthest from him it was only acknowledged by the smallest of cringes.

He'd dealt with much worse things then fire, and there was quite a bit more of it being directed at the hunter right now, anyways.

"He really doesn't sound all that threatening though, does he?" He cast a glance over to Yin and Danny both, frowning slightly. Was it some kind of ruse? A way to lull them all into thinking that they could be safe before he had his hunter buddies on the phone and they all found themselves up s**t creek without a paddle?

Alex was going to guess that was probably the case. He was already positioning himself, getting into a more defensive stance, ready to fight if that's what was needed. But that didn't seem to really be necessary, as...wait what just happened? Where did the hunter go?

Jericho let out a snarl as the hunter vanished.

"Tiamat's s**t. It must have been one of their false bodies," he growled. Wiping away some of the the grime that ended up showering him. Looking down at the phone and cloak, he let out a scoff.

Right now, he didn't have much of an idea for a password, so he didn't take the phone just yet.

She blinked as the figure suddenly went poof, the phone clattered to the floor caught her attention and she peered at it curiously from a distance. The ghoul had no real clue as to what the password for it might be and really didn't have any insight to add to the current situation.

The Jiang Shi had a bad feeling about it though.

The figure was gone, just like that dust and nothing else was left but a fluttering cloak. "That.... hm..." she paused for a moment. "Humans can't survive in Halloween so..." She looked to Jericho, "You're right about that... but how do they control them?"

She turned to Zar a level stare again, "No laws against destroying dummies is there?"  

[Baneful]

Zar put away the notebook with a flourish, taking the box back into his claws from where he'd been holding it in the coils of his tail. He gave Sammy a cold glare.

"No laws other than the laws of common sense. That dummy could potentially have informed you dummies about its intentions."

 

[Nothing Yet]

What! Why had they hit it!? He desperately tugged against Remi's arm, uncovering his mouth long enough to get a few words out.

"Can we please go check the cloak for keys?" There wasn't anyone left in it, and you couldn't exactly draw the attention of nothing, right?

She moved to the cloak next scooping it up. Shaking it down to look for anything inside, specificly keys for Thackery.

"You can't torture what can't feel pain. You can't reason with something that has no fear..." She gave it a few more shakes, "What kind of keys are you looking for Thackery?"

He also tried "cosmic#," "supremeoverlord#," and "supreme overlord of all cosmic beings#."
