Echo was bitting her lip, waiting for Alec to finish his sentence when another girl walked up to the little sitting area. She hesitantly waved back at the girl, but went back to look curiously at Alec.

Alec smiled slightly, watching her. "Do you like animals...?" He asked slowly, a small smile growing on his face.

Echo beamed, "of course!" she could feel her cheeks grow hotter as Alec continued to watch her. "Who doesn't adore them?" Her mind began to flow with pictures of her in a forest, playing with the little creatures as if she was snow white, or sleeping beauty, singing along with the birds, and making friends with the wildlife. "Why do you ask?"

Alec's smile grew at her answer. "That's wonderful..." He mumbled, ignoring Mini. "No real reason, just wondering." He murmured, glancing out a window.

Just realizing what the girl had said about her, Echo looked stunned, her cheeks were burning, "S-sorry. Do I-I know you?" she stuttered, completely humilated for being accused of crushing on Alec. She had just met him . . .
Echo worried he would think her weird.
She looked back at Alec, a nervous smile on her face, "u-um okay . . ." she bit her bottom lip.

Alec blinked, not knowing why Mini was looking at him. A small smile grew on his face as he noticed Echo blushing like hell. "To tell you the truth, I might be crushing on you too..." He laughed, glancing away again.

Alec sent a small glare Mini's way, giving her a look that meant to shut up.

Echo's face was beyond hot. Her nerves were tingling, and she was chewing the hell out of her lip. She stared at Alec in shock. We just met. I don't know anything about him. I can't be crushing on him so soon. Can I? Images of all the romance books she's read, and plays she had seen were rushing through her head. Only in every story, her and Alec were the main characters. Different genre's of music played with each story, all dramatically added to the mood of the picture. She shut her eye's tightly, trying to slow her thoughts down, she was clutching Fallen close to her, which just so happened to be a romance. Opening her eyes again, she looked all around the room, "I-It's g-getting late... I-I should p-probably g-go."
Echo stood up quickly, and struggled to collect all her books, but her arms were trembling and she dropped most of the onto the floor. She bent down to pick them up, embarrassed for being so clumsy.
