I'm also a bit shaky on the idea of doing another mythology right after we finished Greek mythology. Part of the ball is getting a theme iconic and interesting to everyone, which can be hard to do >.< Normally with a great plotline, anything can work.

i agree with the wizard, it could prove very popular, especially the atlantis/egyptian/mayan themes. plus the atlantis theme would give us a great excuse for a mer-people dress code mrgreen but then a lot of poeple might see that as a bit of a repeat sweatdrop

People awaken when they sense daylight. And pull weeds in the afternoon. They rejoice and budspouting when they sense its spring. You know...i think when Sabs makes her decision about the new main host, thats the day that we should stop thinking about themes and start picking out one. And they enjoy crop growing when its summer. Celebrate the harvest when they sense fall. And await spring when its winter.

XD It would be a little bit dull to do two things so close together... That relate pretty closely, too...
@ Wizard ; That's true. But to be honest, when some of the Ancient Civilizations were listed, I only knew about like... Three of them. (x I am curious as to the others, though.

If not the ancient civilizations, we could always stick with that one mentioned earlier about literature.
Even a medievil theme?

a medieval theme would be cool, but from what i've understood so far, it can't be a fairytale one and mythology seems to be a big no too

I know that a lot of my friends are interested in at least a little bit of it. and it is a really intriguing subject in and of itself. My family adores it, my Grandma on my dads side (I call her Nana, but due to the Nana on here currently... Ill use Grandma.) Goes almost out of her way to find things on the Ancient Cultures. A lot of those who would normally hang back might be interested, because most times its those who are interested in the Metaphysical that like the ancient civies.
My dad suggested to look up the Lost Continent of Mu... >.>
I also really like having all the themes for it as well. From Atlantis to the possibility of a civie based around Stonehenge. There is a wide array that could be used, and we could even make up our own stories or genres for it as well.

i'm still liking the disney idea, or the superhero's ball. they are both very popular and not related to this years one in any way smile
yeah, there would be a lot of flexibility in the ancient cultures theme

They are!!! Annnnd, with the superhero two themes could be merged into one, with the Comics one as well. Opening up a whole separate section of fun because the array of comics that can be used.

I like the idea of Film Genres, it's simple enough to draw people in, probably works easily with a plot, and has so many room potentials.
