"Well said."
The voice echoed through the temple as Evan walked in.
He was looking at Ray with a smile.
"You say no such thing as freedom exists. I concur. You know why? Because the word is not an absolute. It is a term describing a relative state one finds him or herself in."
He proceeded to take a seat next to Ray without asking, and looked up to the sacred stand at the wall at the far end.
"One who was entrapped in shackles in a cell might find indentured servitude freedom while a nobleman would consider it imprisonment. "
He smiled wickedly at the prospect.
"But then again, what isn't like that. Human nature dictates that everything has to have an identity. To be an absolute. To be on either side of a dichotomy. Which is why they see every thing in the eyes of good and evil." He then looked at Ray.
"But you see past all those, don't you?" He asked, and then leaned towards her.
"So what form is it exactly, that you seek your freedom?"

Ray paused and looked towards the male with a plain look. She had never really thought of it that way but he was right. She did see things in different light. There was no dark and light, even though she and her sister were seen as the sun and the moon at times. She slowly bit her lip and vlosed her eyes. What kind of freedome did she want? She looked up towards the ceiling and she smiled as if invisioning a bird soaring though the sky. “ I wish for the freedom of the sky, to be able to soar and reach higher than anyone else. I wish for the freedome of the ovean, the endless depths of the unknown and the ever changing tides. I long for the freedome of the shadows, to be ever changing and answer to no one.” She slowly turned her attention to tbe man beside her and offered a smile much like her sisters.
“am I too selfish?” She’d never figured she would talk to a priest or someone other than her sister that way. Most of the time she would just shrug it off and ignore the person but she felt the need to answer him almost like she needed to breath.

Sheena continued to sing her song to help Sci in his fight against his demon self. Her song was helping his blood fight the tonic that she had given him so that it didn't make him sleepy. She only hoped that he would be able to win soon, her powers were already weakening since she had used water from her blood, and it was making her really tired.
She looked at Bandi as he put water in front of her. She had no idea what he wanted her to do with it, but she couldn't ask or else her song would be disturbed and Sci would feel tired again. She then held out her hands and the water in front of her lifted up in tendrils. Her heart pulsed strongly in her chest as she launched the tendrils to reinforce Bandi's barrier while using some to also protect Sci.
When she saw the black mist appear, she was scared at what had happened to Sci. That only caused her to sing louder and as a result, the Water Orb that was also her heart began to pulse and glow brightly in her chest.

Yunari turned her attention back to Kira. She was worried for her sister but she had seen the priest go off in about the same direction so she wasn’t to worried. She didn’t know much about what to say She was happy, well as happy as she could be because Kira hardly knew her but at the same time she had accepted her as their leader so easily. It was a nice idea and she knew that she would have to repay the woman for her trust.What she did do was frown and turn her head to the side. She felt something dark happening but she could not pinpoint it’s location. She looked back to Kira and then placed her hand in front of her and began to wring them together.
But there was also a voice among the dark powers. She let the voice flow through her mind and then she bit her lip. Should she go to it? Should she help? The harder she concentrated the more she found that there was more than one person and when she went to look she could see the commotion happening quite a few yards away. ”Kira, I think we shouldn’t stand here all that long.” But the more she heard that voice, the more she felt she should help.
She began to walk without really thinking. Before she knew it she could feel the energy of barriers and dark powers. She found her eyes fallowing the sound of the voice. There she could see Sheena. Not to far from her was Bandi and then what looked like Sci. She did not know the situation. She did not want to step all over what they had already tried to do fearing she might mess it up. But things looked dangerous. Biting her lip she moved over to Sheena. The barrier she felt was strong and she glanced at Bandi figuring it was his doing.
She felt a bit of pride for having such strong friends, even if she didn’t know the male in this life so very well. Without really thinking her hand rose and rested on the singing girls shoulder. She didn’t wish to startle her so she spoke as well. “ I do not know what is going on, but I offer you my strength.” She pooled her energy inside her and forced it out her hand. This way she could replenish the woman’s power as she could see it flickering a little.

Suddenly the mist condensed to form a single being but still hung in the air to not give a full view of whoever it was. It was a stranger as far as they could tell the hair was longer than before more wild and moved in the wind like a flame flicked and blown to one side of what ever it was burning. Two wings were also seen bent like they were about to rest back against the beings shoulders once more. But with a flap of the wings the mist was blown away and sci stood there his hands laid at his sides his eyes closed his hair back to normal as if the person they had seen in the haze was nothing more than a mirage. The mask was gone as it was still by the tent. But Sci was smiling as if he had found peace. Like there was no longer a war surging through his being but tranquility. He faced Sheena and smiled." Thank you." He walked towards the barrier and looked to Bandi." Can I come out now?"

Sheena looked back at Yune and smiled softly as she continued to sing. She could feel the power flowing through her body and when she looked towards where the mist was, her eyes widened and she stopped her song and lowered her hands. She looked at Yune with tears of happiness in her eyes, "Thank you..."
She then turned around and ran over to him through the barrier wrapping her arms around him, "Sci!" her glittery silver tears fell down her cheeks as she had her arms wrapped around him. She had been so worried about him when he had lost control, "Oh Sci..." she looked up at him, she felt a little dizzy from all that had happened, "Are you alright now?"

Bandi smiled at Sci. "Glad to have you back." He said and dropped the barrier.
He was a little taken aback to find Yunari nearby. He hadn't noticed her arrival in the heat of the moment. He approached her as Sheena was attending Sci.
"Sci seemed to have an episode. Sheena had to use the water from her own body so I pulled a puddle for her to rehydrate. Seems like Sci pulled himself together at the right moment." He explained. For some reason he felt an obligation to report details to this woman. She had an effect on one to demand respect, like royalty.
"Seems like the situation is now under control, though.

Yunari bowed her head a bit to the woman. She wasn't sure how much help she had really been but she would accept the thanks any way. She turned her attention to Bandi, smiled and gave a bit of a nod “You did well, I’m sure I might have just freaked out a bit but you and Sheena got it down.” She had not expected him to explain to her but she was happy none the less to receive the recap and get the situation in her mind the way she assumed it had been. “If you don’t mind, could you keep an eye on Sci? I don’t know him all that well but he has a great darkness inside him. I’m sure he will continue to win against it, but in the event that he needs help, I want someone to be there for him.” Of course from what she was seeing, she was sure that Sheena was going to be there for Sci.
It was a pleasant idea that he had someone but she could just be drawing conclusions.

Bandi smiled and nodded.
"I'll make sure he's fine. I was heading to him to talk anyway when his... demon broke out." He explained.
"And, incidentally, I think YOU should be looking into some people as well. It seemed that Hokyo needed some attending. But knowing him, he might be too proud to admit he needs to talk. But grief can sneak up on people. And no matter how strong he is, I want him to have someone to root him on the ground firmly when he needs it." He explained.

The blond gave a little nod and glanced over her shoulder. “I promise you that I will do what I can but something inside him is broken. The man we knew before… before Ameena left us… he is gone. Left behind is a hardened man.” She folded her arms across her chest and shivered lightly before looking back to the man before her. She offered him a smile and then lowered her arms once more. She wasn’t sure what to do because she had a question but didn’t know how to ask. In the end she bit her lip and tapped her foot lightly “Bandi, I can trust you right? I mean if I tell you something, you wouldn’t tell anyone right?”

Bandi's looked around and noticed the villagers gathering to see what the commotion had been about and stepped closer to Yunari's side.
"I assure you that I have the utmost capability of secrecy. But there are too many ears here. Let's get to somewhere more discreet. My tent, perhaps?"
He offered and led the way.
Bandi's new domicile was very humble. It consisted of a cot and a desk, courtesy of the Esta people. He had books stacked here and there to show he had been doing research. On the far corner, however, lied another cot.
"The priest, Evan, and I have been doing some research together." He explained and pulled a seat for Yunari at the desk.
"Now, what is it you wished to discuss?"

Evan shook his head.
"It is in the heart to desire to pioneer one's own course. Some are more flexible enough to make compromise, but only because they make that decision on their own. And you can't claim someone to be selfish to demand what is already in our hearts centuries before they are born." Evan consoled.
"The social norm teaches us to be considerate. To yield to others. Those who do not are considered selfish. But have you considered the possibility that this notion was created out of selfishness? You demand others to help so that you may receive that help and approach a goal easier than it would have been alone. Is that wrong?" He asked and looked back at Ray. "Once again, we come back to our initial argument that there is no right or wrong. So do what is necessary to achieve that freedom. There are more than one way to do so."

Yune fallowed silently and once she was comfortable with her surroundings, which meant a lot of looking and then taking a seat when she was offered one. She sighed and rubbed her arm. “when this is over, this fight I mean. I’m going to need someone to take over for me. I’m not going to be around after this is all over and well I figured you would be the best candidate, and if you didn’t want to then maybe you could help me find someone who would. I made a promise. See when things settle, if we win, and if everyone is alive. I’m going to cease to be.” She didn’t mean die but she wasn’t sure how else to word it in order to let the man know how serious she was about this. In all her past lives she had made Ray the one to disappear, she had forced that woman to feel all of the pain and suffering but this time around, she was breaking the cycle and ending it.
If she could save Ray, even just this once, from all the pain that she was going to have to face, then she would.

Ray paused as she listened to the male. There came a moment at the end where she felt a strange tug at her heart strings. She shook her head and looked down at the floor as her hands joined in front of her and rested on her lap. “and what if the only way to obtain that freedom, it by taking it from another person?” Yunari did this all the time right? So maybe if she could figure something out the way her sister did then things would be easier right? Wrong? She found that it was getting harder to talk like this because she was not the type to open up about her thoughts She was more of the silent brooding type who kept to herself.
She sat up and turned her gaze, full force, onto Evan. She bit her lower lip and felt her fingers twitch “and if your freedom means the death of the only person who has ever been close to you?” She felt her body react and she stood her hands balling into fists. "who do you blame when you feel so angry at everyone and no one? who can you yell and kick and scream at when it comes down to what you need to do and what you want to do?"
She placed her hands on her head and took a slow breath before turning away "I'm sick of thinking."

Sci smiled at Sheena nervously though. He knew his teeth were visible now four rows of sharp fangs two on top and two on the bottom and Bandi had been right. He was in control now but, he didn't know if his control was something that was permanent. A different power seemed to be growing inside of him and it had been triggered by Sheena and the harmony she brought to him. He knew for some reason thinking of someone who cared for him and showed him concern and then her voice was calming to him. It even helped him gain the control he needed to literally bring himself together. The phrase music soothes the savage beast incorporated demons as well it seemed. Sci walked up to Sheena." Yes I'm alright. Thanks to you." Sci looked her over and moved to her side to help her stay up right." Are you alright now?"

Sheena smiled softly as she looked at his face, really seeing his face now. She didn't care that he had those rows of sharp teeth, all that mattered to her was that he was going to be okay now. When he thanked her, she blushed lightly and when he helped her stay up, she blushed a little more, "I-I..."
She knew that she was still a little weak and that she would need time to restore the water in her blood. She ended up leaning against him for support, "I...I'm still a little dizzy. Could you...help me get back to the tent...?" She looked up at him with soft eyes and she smiled weakly placing her hand on his cheek, "I am glad you're alright now...you had me worried..."
