Makai extended her arms out to the side and made her palms face the ground and a pillar of fire lifted her above the spears, she jumped off the pillar to avoid the wolf as he lunged. "You're too stubborn for your own good." She stated while manipulating the pillar of fire and sending it toward the wolf.

The wolf flew bacxk form the fire yelping, his fur scorched. "Just..let...rei..go.." He whimpered.

Makai scowled toward him and began to walk away again. "Why should I? You're the one who came here all of a sudden demanding over and over again the same thing." She turned her head over her shoulder and stopped for a moment. "I see no benefit for me if I just listen to you. You sound like that other boy, the one who put me here in the first place." She then faced forward and walked again.

The wolf realized something. He looked down growling.Suddenly it began to lightly snow, little flakes landing on both of htem.

Makai didn't notice it right away but it had begun to snow. She growled to herself and whipped up the winds around the area.

The wolf looked down. "Too late." Suddenly each snowflae in teh entire area exploded into ice spears expnading and im implaing both rei and the wolf as soont eh whole area was filled wiht spears.

Makai hit the ground face first after being pierced by the spears, it happened too quickly for her to react at all. Clenching her hands into fists she tried to stand after being slashed countless times. "Your actions were tricky but you can't defeat me completely by falling unto your own sword and expecting me to fall on mine." She stood with molten eyes glowing brightly over the battered and bruised appearance of the girl. Suddenly she began to laugh hysterically and extended her arm to mimic the body position outside the mind. "Switch with me!" Her arm started to dissolve into nothing, the dust being blown away by a breeze that erupted.

Makai put on a horrid smirk while her eyes turned toward the wolf. "I'm switching positions with her, once I complete the change I can do what ever I please without hesitation!" Her voice was mystic and mixed with laughter. Outside the mind, Rei had thrown Leon as she heard every word echo in her ears from inside the mind. One of her eyes remained its bright blue and the other was a molten gold, the flames flashed light blue and black repeatedly. As the manifestation known as Makai slowly dissolved a bright light descended into the mind out from the darkness. It walked forward at its own pace, gathering the particles being blown by the artificial winds. The figure fought against the barrier set around Makai with its right hand, forming the dissolved particles back into her body. 'Leon, I want you to break the connection now. I promise everything will return to normal.' The voice, all too familiar, began to push the wolf away not hard or with any force at all behind it just simply to lead him out.

Leon panicked. "I cant..." But he closed his eyes and broke the connection as he backed up. He looked at rei, worried. "rei.."

Makai strained to keep her barrier up against the force but wasn't able to hold it back any longer. With a hand coming through the barrier and began to absorb Makai into the light. Rei backed against the wall and slid to the floor, the flames fading from the room and dissipating into the air. Her eyes returning to their original color, deep blue, all the memories from the current event erased. Kaoru sat in the broken window's sill casually but completely out of breath. "You ok Leon, you look a bit shaken." He said with a bit of laughter in his tone and a small smirk. "She'll be alright but almost all of her power has been taken back with the vetala, her original is teleportation which is all she has left." He leaned his head back against the wood.

Leon panted. He had used alot of energy, alot. Using that much ice had drained him. His rose swas on the ground now. Only two petals were lef ton the wiliting ice sculpture as he panted. "I'm...fine..." He coughed as hsi body tempurature rose slightly.

Kaoru sighed and sat up from the window and walked toward him. "I'm sorry for botherin' ya before, but you do know its impossible to lie to me." He stated while placing his hand on top Leon's head and looking at him with the same emotion as before. "You should really sit and rest for now pushing yourself isn't good, for either of you."

Leon coughed. "No I'm fine. Rei try to get some sleep please..." He smiled before he quickly left her room, coughing. One more petal fell off his rose so only one was left. He ran towars his room, ice slowly freezing everything behind him uncontrollably.

Rei saw the rose break off another petal again and used the wall to balance against as she stood up. She watched him run out of the room with fear stricken in her eyes as the ice formed over the floor as he ran. She made herself move, taking off with her feet trying to stay on the ground with difficulty from the ice. "Leon!" She called after him before she slipped slightly, but involuntarily teleported back on her feet and ran once more.
