Never played GG To Tell you The Truth, I've heard GG is more like melty blood than Blazblue. But The BB game has abilities that are EXTREMELY char. specific, Even the abilities that all characters do are very char. specific, each character has a diferent power/build type, V-13 is probably the fastest next to taokaka, but her health is terrible, but her heat (energy) gain is faster than all the others, she also has some of the highest attack power.
Hakumen, the other main villain on the other had, slow, most health, most defense, and most attack, he's also not balanced at all. He's way op.
My fav char. Taokaka, is made for hit and run, and heavy special moves. her health is 3rd lowest, but her defense is average.
It's got a weird online play, so I would stay offline.

Actually, BB is far different from GG in the sense that there is no serious lore, it's all thrown together as a joke at Fighting games with a story.
Take the hero, Ragna the bloodedge, He has a red coat - dante, a huge sword - Cloud, Is a dark, brooding emo - cloud again, and is a wielder of dark powers - every anti-hero ever in anime.
Also, Kekfa is cooler than sephiroth >.> lol
