The Poetic Soldier
Kali walked next to Cloud holding his hand lightly. Like she had told him, she never left the family estate as a young girl. So seeing the park she smiled. She saw a row of... what were they called swings? She smiled up at Cloud. A small purr of amusement came from her. Her ears flicked and her tailed swayed. She enjoyed these moments with Cloud. She let out yet another purr.
Cloud had smiled, purely glad that she was enjoying herself. He wanted to get some fresh air, because fresh air was great for a writer's mental block, which was what he was having about thirty minutes ago. He held her hand lightly, making sure not to grip too hard. He never was one for public displays of affection, but when with Kali, everything changed. It's like he honestly didn't care what people said about him, or her, as long as they were together, they were complete. It sounds very redundant, but it is really true.
"So, I see you are liking the views of the park. Were you really this solitary when you were younger, to a point where you don't even know what a park looks like? I mean, I was allowed to go to the park, even if my parents were too, how you say, authoritative and solitary," he admitted to her. He really wanted to learn of her past. It definitely interested him.
