"Are you hearing voices? Ones that were. . . are whispering? I keep hearing them but I can't really make out what they are saying. . . It's either a shrill pitch that hurts my ears or a whispering that I can barely make out," he asked glancing at the boy who had just passed by.

The voices whispered things like, "He's the one... Wake up! He will be the one who does it. Hurry! Wake up already!" It was now harder to smile as Toby walked by, the shrieking voices started up again. But they weren't saying anything nice. "Well someone sent him to me... I don't know why... Anyways his name is Tex." Now she was glaring at Tex. How can he hear the voices? HOW CAN HE HEAR THEM?!

"I think it just said He's the one. . . He'll be the one who does it. . . I don't know why I can hear them but. . . They're there and it's driving me crazy already. . ." Tex sighed looking somewhat worried.

Melody snapped, she stood up quickly with her eyes blazing furiously. "Get out... GET OUT! BOTH OF YOU GO AWAY!" Melody rushed over to them and shoved Tex out of the doorway, slamming and locking the door. She pressed her back to the door and slid to the ground. Her body was shaking and she was crying. The voices grew more louder, but they weren't all shrill and shrieking. They sounded like bells now, a bell ringing quietly and steadily. "It's alright Melody. He won't harm you. Let him help! Let him wake you up! You need to wake up Melody!" Melody slammed the back of her head violently against the door, screaming loudly and frustrated, "I AM AWAKE!"

"That was awkward. . ." How am I supposed to wake her up? Isn't she already awake? Tex put his hands back over his ears. The voices were being shrill again. "Shut up!" he shouted running back down the hallway to his room and putting a pillow over his head to try and block the voices. "Please just shut up. . ." He was sitting on his bed in the room shaking at the loudness of the voices. His head was already pounding because of it screeching in his head.

Melody calmed down after Tex went back to his room. For some reason they were growing more quieter... But what she didn't realize is the voices were reaching out to Tex now, now that they knew he could hear them. "Wake her... Help her wake up Tex. Only you can do it. Help her! She needs to wake up!". They whispered in such soothing voices yet there was an eerie feeling hiding behind the soothing voices. Melody unlocked her door and headed down to the kitchen. She needed a cup of water. She was exhausted now and it seemed the voices wouldn't allow her to sleep until she "woke up". All because Tex arrived... All his fault...

"huh?" Toby watching Tex run down the hall confused and shocked at the same time "what the...?"

Danyael got up and stumbled to his door, not having any feeling in his feet. Once his door was open, He fell face first onto the floor and didn't move. He didn't feel like moving around for awhile, with his legs numb.

Toby walked back to his room and locked the door "hopefully no psychos get in" he laughed to himself and took out his Flute and started playing ignoring almost all sounds.

"Ow..." Danyael muttered, having a delayed reaction. He flipped onto his back and stared up at the ceilings, his eyes filled with anger and depression all at the same time.

Toby heard Tex and lost tune "shut up!!people are trying to have some peace!!" he yelled out to Tex.
