I smile and then nod. "Well, rest up. If you need me, holler." I get up, sin on my heels, and am out the door. I walk down the pathway, and then stop when I see someone. He looked oddly familiar, but otherwise, I could not place him. He starts running back the way he came and I run after him. Two, maybe three, minutes later, we get out into the air field. He spins and starts shooting at me. I dive behind a barrel and wait for him to stop. Several people are watching us, and then pull their weapons. He stops when they order him to, and I duck out. He is running again, so I get up and run after him, until he gets to an airship. I duck back to my gunship and bring her to life. Three soldiers get on and man my guns. Obviously, we were ion the middle of a security breach. Several alarms start blaring, and I am out in the open skies. A beam of light starts to erupt next to me, and I dodge barely.

He is out in the air, maybe a mile or so high. I go after him, but am cut off as several angels attack me. I bite my lip and hover. They wait for the airship to disappear into the sky. When they disappear into portals, I keep on the airship. Thats when I get it, they had stolen someone. But who? Airships were a magical item, and there were only a few of them left in the world, or the Universe for that matter. So who could possibly own one? And who worked with angels?

"Randell! They have Yuki!" I fly at full speed, and when I see the airship again, more angels appear. I blast through them, and suddenly two large dragons appear on either side. The gunners take them out while I evade their attacks. I launch two missiles, and they hit the airship. We get next to it, and I put my gunship on autopilot. I grab two of the soldiers, and we drop onto the airship. I shoulder my rifle and we find a way in. Inside, the Alliance tries to take us out, but I keep at it.

Suddenly, the whole ship rocks and I am thrown onto the deck. I get back up, but when I do, the ship is gone. Instead, we are standing on air. I look around at the amazing spectacle. "Whoa." I see the Alliance members, I see Yuki curled up sitting, and I see the pilots. I look up to see my gunship, and down to see water underneath me. Then I see it. A large white pillar straight ahead of us.

"Warriors of Man, warriors of Valor. Please, put down your arms, and listen to the Supreme." My mouth gapes as I recognize the voice. "The Universe shall become nothing shall it be only plunged in war, ever seething for blood. All the hearts of Mortal's wants is bloodshed. I have come to one conclusion, the Universe shall be as none. Draw your last breaths, and go back to tell the Rest that there is no hope." The pillar of light expands, shooting rapidly all around us. It hits us and we are suddenly back where we had been. When I look up, I see the sky as a thick black with swirling silver. The airship starts to fall apart, so I run and grab Yuki and we make it back to my gunship. I lay her down and grab the controls to pull us away as the airship starts to fall to the ground in pieces.

"Randell, the sky!" I look up at the sky to see several of the swirls striking out to the ground. I turn to see the other's faces.

Back on base, the reports stream in. It was happening in all of the realms. It was happening even to the Unholy Lands. It was happening to the netherworld, and to the other places that we thought safe. I sit down, apparently the fight was against something else. "Reports of beings that are seemingly unbeatable have come in. Magics the likes of the Gods themselves. They call themselves 'Contratorpedeiros do deus' which means God Destroyers. I think the true apocalypse has come." I turn to Yuki and watch her expression carefully. I turn to my commander, and he shakes his head.

"We do nothing. In fact, I say we give them Yuki." He says nonchalantly. I turn back to her, and then to him.

"No!" I grab Yuki and start running. Jurdean breaks out behind me and we make it to my heli. "You have my full support in this matter, Queen Yuki."

"I have no clue why anything happens anymore. I am just as confused. But.... I know a man that can help us. He is the same man that took care of Kurai." I offer my hand to her. Then I help her into the gunship. I close the door and seal it, then find my place in the cockpit. When we are in the air, I look back to her. "I have no clue his name. But I do know he helped me once before. I am sure he will again."

When we are far enough away, I let out a sigh of relief. Jurdean grabs his sword and hands it to Yuki. "I have seen this a lot in movies, maybe it is the same for real life? I want you to knight me." He kneels in front of her, and I keep an eye on them.

I chuckle a bit and then go back to flying. Hours drag by and I land in an abandoned airfield to refuel. While there, I see the eared one. "Hey!" He turns to me, holds a hand up, and then looks up to the sky.

"It is as feared. The Universe is coming to an end. You need not fear, I will do for you what I have many others." And with that he snaps his fingers. "And with that, the Universe has forgotten your existence. All electronic, magical, or other means have been erased of all of your identities. Go, go hide in the forests of Malinklay. That realm will serve your needs well." Then he looks back up to the sky, and vanishes.

I sit in my gunship, waiting for her to come aboard. I look up at the sky, and ideas float across my brain. Things like: "What was going to happen? Would I truly make it in any military as a lower rank person? Since I could never make wings work, was a mechanical beast as nimble as this my best option? It floats by for an instant, replaced by a vision of me indeed serving in a military. As a pilot, with Jurdean as my ground officer. He was taller though, and had no wings. Instead, he looked remarkably human, but still gangly like an imp. I was up in the air, while he was sitting on the ground reading from a book. I was looking off in the distance, all was perfectly peaceful. The sky was blue, the sun was yellow, children were playing off in the distance, not bothered by the wind or the sight of my gunship.

I am reeled backto reality a moment later by the sound of lightning. I turn to Yuki outside the heli. I jump out and wave her down. "I think we should be going, don't you?" I point to the sky and then get back into my seat.

I start up and we fly across the sky. I turn back to her. "Look, I was thinking..... would you mind telling me something?" I sigh and look ahead of me. "Why is it that every time I get close to being in a good spot to have a relationship of some kind with your sister, things get screwed up? I mean, who am I? Am I the one who fell in love with her, or is it someone else? I don't know anymore."

I jerk sharply on the yolk, and the whole gunship rolls slightly to the left, avoiding a bird I had not noticed in my thoughts. I stabilize it back out and turn back to look at her. "Yeah, well, Sara still found out. And she got to me. Of course, now I am thinking it may have been for the best." I sigh and turn back to see out the cockpit windows. I turn on autopilot and unbuckle myself, easily hopping onto the flat cushion against the wall separating the cockpit area and the cabin. I put my hands behind my head and look up at the ceiling. The hum of the rotors was quieter as the gunship lolled into a slower pace in the now rainy sky.

"I still don't know what I should do. I mean, things are not right for a relationship. She has to assume your role now, back in your home realm. I have to make sure you don't die. Things are not good." I kick Jurdean off the end of the cushion and turn against the wall. "If anything goes wrong, wake me. The autopilot on these things are pretty good though, so i doubt anything bad should happen, just keep the imp away from the controls." I joke and fall asleep fast.

The more that I think about it, the more I need to post a more thorough explanation of the gunship.... For movie ideas, it is alot like the Samson "Think Trudy" in Avatar. Except, there are slight alterations. Like more rockets, bedding, seating is different, and more machine gun mounts (optional for certain needs).
