Hadou. The basic principle of Hadou is that it causes spiritual energy to condense at the point of casting into the user, which then spreads out on will. That will takes an image in the mind, which ultimately forms an effect, based on imagery supplemented by that spiritual energy. In order to negate Hadou, one had to meet the reishi mass with a mass greater than one's own. In order to do that, one had to either condense a greater form of reishi to emit a reiatsu pulse to disperse the kidou, which was generally how most did it. The other was slightly simpler, but more difficult to time. meet one immovable force with another, hoping that the secondary force was more immovable. Truthfully, he could release his weapon without fear of reprisal if he wasn't attacking a fellow. And that he did. As his violet eyes follow the path of the energy..he has one chance..and he grabs his sword. He just hopes he has the TIME. It's the first time he's done this in front of others..but..
"Seichou, Umeki!"
All he says..and the entire area explodes with spirit power around him..vines tearing up from the ground..leaves made of green energy spinning around him...the handguard...blade..everything about his sword exploding..changing in structure...going all from metal to wood..the handguard becoming more ornate..beautiful..and he doesn't even say a word..he's going on pure instinct..he's only practiced it once, and the need is greater than his sense..and he plants his sword in the ground...hard. The resultant flash intercepts the kidou on its way through the ground..and explodes upward as a dome of vines and leaves that wraps like a covering tightly around Haro. When the kidou impacts him, it instead would explode the barrier..wood and leaves flying everywhere..but leaving him mostly unharmed..save some splinters and reiatsu burn..and just like before..megumi's hair is that long white mane..his arm with the sword yanking up, pulling it from the ground..as the leaves flow around him in the air..

The reiatsu did not impact Haro, and this result actually displeased her. The hand holding her sword returned her zanpakatou to her belt, and she reached for the dual hilts to bring them forward.
And then suddenly, there were three teachers standing there, Hiren, with her arm wrapped around Ran's throat from behind, Korin, both hands firmly planted on the hilt of Ran's daishou, and Miyoko, the hilt of her zanpaktou coming down to impact the back of Ran's neck, knocking her unconscious.
As Ran slumped forward in Hiren's arms, the girl was laid in a spot that was now devoid of dead bodies.
It was Miyoko who stood in the midst of it, turning her gaze toward Megumi, and then toward Haro.
"Sheath your sword, Aoibara," the first, spoken to Megumi. And the next movement comes from Korin, who shunpo's forward, and taps Haro in the forehead, with just enough reiatsu built upward to force his 'other self' down, bringing the true student forward.
It was then Hiren who spoke.
"None of you are to speak of what has happened here.." she lay her hand on Ran's back, pressing against the lotus 'tattoo' there.
"We will continue to bury the deceased. This is our task. We will have no further fighting," as she lifted her hand, slender white bands bound Ran's arms, and the girl was dragged upward to sit. She was bound.
"I will be taking her to Soutaichou. I expect you will all carry out your orders without question?" her gaze was hard as it moved from person to person.

"Megumi..I'll leave it to you.."
This the white-haired megumi says as he closes his eyes and smiles..then looks fondly at the wooden blade that pulses with a green aura..and then just as quickly, the weapon returns to its former state, a katana with a fancy fencing handguard. He sheathes it..and chuckles..
"Beautiful one in my memory..I am glad that I got to hold you this time..though it is not me that you are here to serve. Do well."
The white hair recedes, leaving black short-haired Megumi once again..the violet eyes shifting to the two-color eyes he usually has before he falls to a single knee..
"I'll find out who you are..someday..."
And he just nods..
"My apologies. But I did not release my weapon to attack..I hope that is forgivable."

Hiren merely nodded at the student, before lifting the body of Ran up onto her shoulder.
"The girl may well stand trial for attacking another student. Only Soutaichou can say," and she turned, headed back toward Seireitei.
There was little else that could be said. There were punishments for attacking another student like that. Especially during wartime. But that wasn't what made the teachers stop her. It was that mark on her back. Something was wrong. And they all had that same sinking feeling that it was caused by the recent invasion.

Damian grinned as he looked at the attack one last time before a blast of green came infront of his eyes and he could feel something against his skin, leaves maybe? He was unsure, but he felt an impact and then an explosion and then a little bit of pain, but damnit...it wasn't what he had wanted! He wanted excruciating horrible pain for that Haro child to have to endure! He sighed deeply and shook head as he looked to Megumi. "You! Stop interfering! Maybe I WANT to die!" He screamed as he stood there. "May as well, I will only add to the rest of these useless people!" He spat, kicking a corpse.
Then when he looked over, the woman whom had attacked him was being detained and there was another woman infront of him, putting a finger on his head. "Get off of me you stu..." He began to say, but all of a sudden, the woman's reiatsu had ordered his symbols to reconstruct, and his mind worked on it's own, causing them to do so at the woman's command. He was himself again. He looked around and he shook his head, he had been there and heard every dispicable word....but because he allowed himself to go two stages in, couldn't return to his normal self while the self-proclaimed Damian wanted to stay out.
"I.....I...I'm.." He began to say, but his mouth closed without uttering another sylable and he looked at all the corpses and he leaned down, picking one up, and without looking anyone in the eyes, he began to do his job again. He couldn't speak....again...he had caused trouble....and he was a complete jerk. No wonder he was such an outcast as a kid, who the hell would have wanted to be his friend like that? He was too embarassed....and self-angered to talk to anyone. He just picked the corpses up and placed them in their holes.

Korin merely watched as the man returned to his duty, before her gaze returned to Hiren's retreating back, and then, she looked to Miyoko, before the two of them join the ranks of those moving bodies. Nothing could be done at this point. Nothing at all, sad to say.

"Che. It won't matter. I know what that thing is. She has no control when her emotions flare up. Old Man Yama does too, and it won't make a damn bit of difference. If he wants to stop it, he has to kill her. There's only one way to remove that thing, other than dying, and it's risky. Most likely it won't ever happen. I doubt she knows what she's doing, taking her to him like that. Was she even there when it happened? And even if she was..she isn't like me. Like them. She can't fathom it. Miyoko, you shouldn't have let her run off with that kid. But if I'd tried to stop her, it would have become a bloodbath."
Aichou shrugs..

Miyoko shook her head, her expression strained, as she stepped away from the bodies of the dead.
"It won't matter, Aichou. You know as well as I do that Hiren outranks me. She's the eldest, more than that, she's the strongest. She's also reporting directly to Soutaichou. How am I supposed to stop her?" the woman frowned, before looking off toward the inner districts.
"The only thing that's going to happen is they'll imprison her until they can make the seal stronger," she hoped, "what, you suggest I go running after her and tell her to stop?"

"Idiot. They can't reseal it while those people are running about. It's bad enough it responds to ME..but that's rare because of the suppression. But there are MORE of these people running around, and as long as they're showing up, you won't be able to hold a seal to it. If they find out about her, then we're really in trouble. What that thing does..it's why what happened happened in the first place. Don't you undersand? Ultimately..there's..no choice. You need her moving about more than locked up and resealed. Your sister's too stiff. She can't even begin to understand how it works there. She was raised here in these little ivory walls.."
She spits..making a face..crossing her arms. She reseals her sword and sheathes it..

Megumi, for his part, sighs. He turns and shakes his head at haro..
"Don't worry about it. I know the feeling. I've got..some voices of my own..and not all of them are friendly. Either way, you should be fine. Take a break..not everyone is cut out to wear a mask at will..yours is..different..we're trained as nobles to erect a mask..when we have to.."

"Baaaaaaaaaaka." drawn out purposefully, before she thunked Aichou upside the head.
"I was raised in those ivory walls. She's older than I am. Though.. you did always drag me out of those walls.. ¬.¬" a brief glare in her direction, before she cursed under her breath, and bounded up over the rooftops, headed after her sister. She just hoped she could catch her.
"You'd better be right about this, Aichou!" tossed over her shoulder before she'd headed out of Inuzuri, toward Seireitei.

Ugu ignored the idiocies of the nearby fuss. He just continued, as he had been doing for the past few minutes, to dump bodies into and onto whatever he was ordered to. The squishy bodies of drenched bodies, and their bloodied rags, moved from the ground to his shoulder and to the ground again. His body repeated the motions continuously. The shinigami's mind kept away from the fact that he was burying the deceased--he just moved them. That was all that he was thinking about, since he didn't feel like thinking about anything other than the numbness that was overpowering his senses.

Miyoko returned not too much later, holding the limp body of Ran, before leaning her up against a wall, giving that glare at Aichou once more.
"I hate it when you're right," stare "At least we've got quite a few of the bodies buried. So, are you going to claim responsibility for this girl, since you two have things in common?" a pointed glare, before she shook her head, sighing.
"You're going to get me into so much damn trouble, Aichou."

"I can't. She'll react to my energy. It'll have to be someone else. If nothing else, maybe I can get one of the other teachers to do it..or maybe get her an adopted family. But being near me would set it off..and eventually she might actually HIT me, and then it would get bad.."
She shrugs..

"You mean like she did in class, only much worse?" a raised eyebrow, before she glanced around, and then her eyes focused on Megumi, and a slow cheshire grin spread across her face.
"Oh Me~gu~mi!~" she was next to Aichou, and then beside Megumi, pressed up against his side, purring next to him. Okay, so it wasn't very fair, but no one ever said she wasn't childish, she's just very good at what she does.
