 Dewburst
[Dewburst's tail tip twitched.
His eye groggily fluttered open.]
"Find.. the cure." he growled.
"I.. I can't die.. not yet.." he grabbed Galespirit, eyes blazing with fury.
[Exhaustion crept over him, containing the madness was a lot of work.
He forced the temptation of letting it control him until it barely fought but he knew it'd be back.
He fell once more into a fitful sleep.]

Wavepelt saw the cat awaken again and fall back asleep in the same way as before. "We need the poppy seeds now!" ran over to the scent of the herbs that was the medicine cat's den. How do I know that's the medicine cat's den, this just gets wierder and wierder everytime this happens.

SweetMoon padded over to the crowd of cats. "try stinging nettle. it should help get the poison out of him" She said without thinking. she wanted to help DewBurst. he was a good friend to her... at least thats what she thought of him as.

 D u s k p a w“Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about.”___________________________ Duskpaw saw how desperate Dewburst was. He could still control the Madness, which was a good sign of its slow progression. She dipped her head to them all and padded into the medicine cat's den. Brushing past Wavepelt, she found a few poppy seeds, along with the flowers Berryblaze collects them from. She took a leaf and placed a pawful of seeds and one large flower, with its seeds already taken out, inside, neatly wrapped it up, and carried it back to Galespirit.
“Just make him lap up the seeds. I'll get the poppy plant...”
Duskpaw bit the flower off, causing a gluely white liquid to begin to drip out. She tried to place it into Dewburst's slightly parted jaws. Once she got it, she replied to Sweetmoon without turning towards her. Her attention was on the sick tom.
“Sweetmoon, stinging nettle expels poison in the stomach. The Madness is in his blood...Drink this, Dewburst. It'll help control your impulses until Emberpaw finds the cure.”
She spoke softly to the tom, hoping that even in his sleep he could hear her.
[[XD If only the Madness will allow them to train! D:

SweetMoon felt her muscles tense as she heard Duskpaw's words. Her claws became unsheathed, and her jaws slightly parted. Her tail slashed from side to side. *DewBurst... you better not die you hear me...* She thought to herself.

Wavepelt managed to sneak out of camp during the commotion with Dewburst. He walked around a few tail lengths away from the entrance and found a patch of soft grass where he decided to lay down. He was almost asleep when he heard a screech coming from above. He looked above to see a squirrel with the madness launch itself at him, aiming for his neck.

D u s k p a w“Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about.”___________________________ Duskpaw sighed and stood up. At least she got the tom to drink the poppy milk. The amount she gave him should help subdue him until Emberpaw could come back. She stood up and looked at Sweetmoon.
“Could you please make sure he eats the poppy seeds the next time he wakes up?” She gave Dewburst's ear a lick and began padding for the apprentices' den. “I'm a bit tired...I'll try to sleep...”
She mewed over her shoulder before disapprearing into the den. Owltalon dipped his head to the crowd of cats before padding into the warriors den. Both cats curled up into balls and fell asleep.
[[Someone save Wavepelt! Don't you guys think we should limit the animal attacks a liiiiittle bit? >__<;;;
I gotta log off now. D:

ooc: Who's playing the leader of this clan? I haven't seen them in... ever, actually, and they REALLY need to make an announcement about the madness, telling the clan cats to aviod rabbits.
There are also quite a few apprentices and kits ready to move up soon, but no one to preform the ceremony! (this guild DOES do ceremonies, right? It's not just random and uncontrolled?)
I leave Oakkit and Softkit in the nursery. Softkit's in shock, but sleeping now. Oakkit is also sleeping, tuckered out by all of the excitement.

Wavepelt managed to dodge the attack from the tree but befor he could turn around the squirrel attacked again. Wavepelt pounced on the squirrel put pulled away when it tried to bite his paw. He hit a rock and it hit a tree which distacted the squirrel and he threw the squirrel to a rock. Wavepelt victory was short-lived when he felt blood trickling down his side. He limped back into camp "I need some help, a squirrel attacked me with the madness, I didn't get bit so don't worry".

She paused, remembering spadekit's comment about the unusual smelling prey. She felt a sharp Pang inside her, like a thorn stabbing her pad. She let out a pain-filled hiss, turning away. Dicekit looked at Dewburst, her eyes welling with tears. "D-Doveflight....will he live?" she asked. Doveflight paused. "I don't know, Dicekit." She sat down next to the terrified she-kit. "but if we pray to starclan, there might be some hope." Doveflight saw her kit tense, the small fur rippling up as she looked up at Doveflight. "I don't want to keep depending on starclan!" she screeched, rushing over to Dewburst, small tears flying from her eyes. "Dewburst! Dewburst, Please don't die!" she howled. Doveflight rushed forward and snatched Dicekit, dragging her back towards the nursery. "Dicekit, Enough." "No! No! I don't want him to die!" the kit cried. Doveflight dropped Dicekit down. "He won't die! Calm down, Dicekit!" the queen hissed.

SweetMoon nodded as she heard Duskpaw's words. "Dont worry ill amke sure he lives." She said. She didnt want DewBurst to die. then she remembered Emberpaw. *I msut thank him.* "Um.. Emberpaw? Could i speak with you?" she asked the apprentice.

 Spadekit "Perfection is impossible. Loyalty is not." ___________________________Spadekit looked around. She could hear the loud, slightly annoying mew of Dicekit. This was about the Madness. Something was definitely wrong. She ran over to Wavepelt, seeing him painfully making his way to the camp. "You need to go to the medicine cat. You're hurt." she insisted. She pressed close to his side, steadying him.

Wavepelt say the kit running towrds him "thanks Spadekit, I missed a clan announcement didn't I". Wavepelt already knew what the leader had talked about, the Madness. He saw the medecine cat's den was close now so he told the young cat he can make it the rest of the way.

Spadekit "Perfection is impossible. Loyalty is not." ___________________________ Spadekit nodded. "About the announcement, I can tell you everything that was said. I could learn it off of another cat later. If it makes you feel better." She said. Nodding, she told him goodbye, and dashed off. Spadekit needed to know what Willowstar said. It could be important. Spadekit was always a bit of a perfectionist, even though she knew she was flawed, like every other living cat. But when she missed something, she had to make it up. No matter what. Something about unfinished work bothered her like nothing else.
