Ami knew instantly that Leon wasn't coming back. Well, he'd just have to suffer through her ignoring him. For a very long time. She growled quietly to herself. The doctor told her she could leave now, so she left the doctor's office and walked out into the parking lot. She didn't wait by Leon's car, she simply began to walk down the sidewalk towards Shayla's apartment.

Ami wasn't in a mood to make a deal, and she sure as hell was not about to let him drive her home. Or talk, for that matter. He had made a promise to her. And he had broken that promise. She didn't care if her next action would give him a heart attack or not. She stuck her hand up his shirt. She gripped the key tightly and unlocked the door, dropping it back on his stomach and exiting the vehicle.

She started walking again, prepared for anything. She would not let him carry her back again. She shook her blonde and black streaked hair out as she walked.

Ami said nothing and struggled from his arms. She landed on her feet and stood there a moment. Then she took off at a sprint. She would win this game, no matter what he did. She eventually slowed to walk when she was a good two miles from Leon and his stupid car. She looked around, and continued walking.

When Ami woke up, the first thing she saw was Leon, and she knew he had made her pass out. Her face contorted in rage.

"Leon, you mother-f***ing b*****d!." she screamed. She leaped at him, nails ready to peirce skin, but the doctor caught her mid-leap. "You have a concussion." he informed her. That didn't help her anger. She stood up. "Thanks, doc." She walked to the window and jumped out. "Touch me again, Leon, and I will f-ing kill you."

She walked away from the doctor's office once again.

Ami shoved Leon away and stormed to the bathroom. She didn't have a room yet, so this would have to do. She slammed and locked the door. Then figuring she could use it, she jumped in the shower with her clothes still on, letting herself get soaked along with her clothes. The water was very cold. She hoped Leon wouldn't come in if he thought she was naked.

Ami stood shivering, dripping yet in the shower for about ten minutes. She finally got out, but did not change her clothes. She walked out into the living room and saw Leon sleeping on the couch. She thought about revenge, but... naw. That wouldn't be enough for her. The least she could do was make him worried about her. She picked up a piece of paper and clumsily wrote with her right hand, because her left was still broken. She left the note on the table and left the apartment, headed for town. She found a coffee place and got some coffee, waiting for Leon to discover she was gone and come searching.

Dear Leon,

You stupid b*****d. I'm going to Los Angelos.

Goodbye, Ami.

Ami watched Leon's reckless behavior from her place in the Starbuck's. She sipped coffee, back to her emotionless state. She relaxed and waited for him to run by again, no clear thoughts running through her head.

Ami smiled. In the part of her mind that seemed to have snapped, she loved seeing him get hurt. When her last group had left her behind, she had worked on hurting others to help herself feel better. She thought she had been over it.

Ami stood up, paid for the coffee and headed to Shayla's apartment to pack up her stuff. She would leave, go to New York. Screw L.A, Canada, and anything that had to do with other people. She walked back to the apartment at a leisurly pace, reaching it after a few minutes. She walked in, packed up her backpack, and left the apartment behind. She walked to the South, towards where she would find New York City and live life as a loner.
