 Haruka paled at the force of the blow headed her way. Her saving grace was her own clumsiness as she tripped, rolling under the blow in a somersault. As her shoulder blades made contact with the ground, she used her arms to propel herself into the air and kick up at Yukai's stomach.

Time is running out... ♫ Yukai Okaeshi ♫ no time to dodge!
Yukai almost looked like a rag doll, considering she has a low pain threshhold (crap) and shes quite light too (double crap).
still, that kick was enough to make her throw up her entire food content for that day. it looked like she just chucked up a rainbow...
aand didnt help that she hit the ground pretty hard too, she knocked her head, so she was a bit dizzy!
uggh...s..so d..di..dizzy. was all you would hear from the blonde as she wiped residue off her face.
she shook her head rapidly, regaining balance, before running full force at Haruka again, arms out stretched. Time to say goodbye...

Haruka narrowly avoided being vomited on as Yukai went sailing over her head. She quickly flipped over and got back on her feet in time to meet Yukai's charge.
Her block ended up being sloppy as the blood around her wrist spun like a saw against the ice armor before Haruka in her entirety was thrown to the side, momentarily losing her balance.

Time is running out... ♫ Yukai Okaeshi ♫ the saw left a dent in the armor, but it was still intact, just weakened.
s**t...
haruka lost her balance, and Yukai saw her chance. she ran up to her, so she was behind her and tried to punch the back of her head... Time to say goodbye...

Haruka flung her arms over the back of her head. It was unknown whether this was for protection from the blow, or for the sake of her balance, but the blood orbiting her wrists slashed up in the air above her. If Yukai's hit connected, one of the blades would get her arm bad. Only Haruka was willing to risk massive head trauma for a shot at an opponent.
This was her first assassination mission, wasn't it? Her first real mission? She'd been coddled, baby-sat, pushed aside--the fact that she found the target first was a fluke, even, as her team had essentially told her to get out of the way! (They didn't even expect her to realize that was what they were doing...) This would be her one shot to prove herself and she wasn't about to back down now!

Time is running out... ♫ Yukai Okaeshi ♫ too late too late too late! Yukai didnt see the blades and...and...! an AGONISING(sp) pain went through Yukai's right arm. oh god it was HORRIBLE! it felt like someone had sawn it off.... she shakily turned to her right...nothing cold have prepared her for the next thing she saw. her arm...it was HANGING by the tiniest peice of skin, the bone was exposed, and it was bleeding like CRAZY. she was so disturbed by it, she couldnt even scream, it had literally scared the scream out of her. Yukai's expression was what one would describe as pure horror.when the shock set in, she let out the most blood-curdling scream one can imagine, clutching her arm (or whats left of it) i.i..iiii.i.i
THE PAIN ITS..I..ICANT STAND IT!the pain was horrible, but she could not back down now, no matter how much pain she was in. she braced herself, and, with one hard pull, pulled her arm off the skin, letting out another shrill scream, and dropping to her knees. i..i cant back..down..now...uww..its..its so ******** painful!she shakily got back up again and, using her arm as a weapon, did a sort of painful run/jog towards Haruka again, the pain on her face evident. it was hard to almost stand, every step she took it made it worse, she was losing blood, and making more for haruka to use, and not to mention it hurt like <******** class="postcontent-align-center" style="text-align: center"> 
Time to say goodbye...

I may be blind  Seo Himine
Seo was headed for Kumogakure after his second failed attempt at the chunin exams. He was filled with rage and if anything bad happened to him he would loose it. Having failed after being that close really destroyed his ego. He was too angry to trust his abilities. Normally he would have ran back to the village with the aid of a jutsu or two but he knew if he even made a hand sign it would turn into Wind Strike and he would start clearing the forrest. Tears of anger started to form in his eyes. So far Seo's life was full of dissapointments. He was confused as to why this one hurt him this much.

Haruka's face was set hard as stone, her lips pressed in a thin line at the sight of the carnage she'd caused. Any fragment of the childish light she'd exuded when she'd first appeared in the clearing was drained from her amethyst eyes. She was merciless, but at the same time, not enjoying what she had to do in the least.
Yukai's screams caused something in Haruka to twinge. She wanted to end this suffering quickly and get the hell out of the Land of Lightning.
Her opponent was a wreck, making it easy for Haruka to swing around her and bring her bladed arm down on her back, intending to sever her spine. However, she tripped and her hit went wonky--causing her to attack haphazardly with her elbow instead.

Seo neared the village and he began to hear screams. He didn't recognize the voice but he did realize that the screams were coming from the direction of the village. Seo forgot about himself and his anger and rushed toward the direction of the struggle. He hoped he could get there before someone got seriously hurt.

Time is running out... ♫ Yukai Okaeshi ♫ Yukai staggered, so she sublimily dodged Haruka's elbow attack, dropping to her knees once again.
the pain and sadness was easy to see in her eyes as she dropped her arm-turned-weapon onto the grass.
it must not be easy, having to kill people...
she tried to stand up, but she just couldnt, her arm (or stump) was making her feel dizzy from the blood loss.... Time to say goodbye...

Haruka peeled herself off the dirt and prepared to land an execution-style blow to the downed Yukai, but to have her opponent finally speak to her caused her to stop abruptly.
"I... I... It's not... no. I don' wanna be here... b-bu' tha's selfish of me ta say! I--I can't..."
She took a hesitant step back to clear her mind. She seemed on the verge of tears.
"But it's my mission..." she said quietly. "No one's ever trusted me with a mission so important before..." Haruka carefully fingered the deep gashes across her face. There was evidence they dragged all the way down her torso.
"Even now, it's jus' blind luck that my team hasn't found ya first jus' so I wouldn't get involved. I--I can't fail now!"
She took a stumbling lunge forward, wildly aiming for Yukai's neck.

Time is running out... ♫ Yukai Okaeshi ♫ she ducked, so the swipe went over her head, lying down, as the little pool of blood from her arm started to surround her.
i know how that feels...too feel like your useless, that no one wants you around, but ya just gotta be strong. her voice was breaking up, she wasnt dying, but she was getting awfully close....
i can't fight back now, s...so....j..just...finish...your misson.... she braced her self, was this it? was Yukai just gonna be wiped from the earth? it can't be, not yet! too soon! Time to say goodbye...

Seo reached the two people in a matter of seconds. He smelled blood and a lot of it then a familiar scent. It was... Yukai, and she was in danger. Seo drew a kunai and jumped in front of the person who was aiming an attack. "Yukai it seems like your in a bit of trouble. Seeing as though I just failed the chunin exams, I guess this unlucky shinobi will get to act as a vent to my anger."
Seo motioned for Yukai to move back, that is if she could. Seo tossed the kunai towards Yukai just in case other ninja appeared. Seo formed two sets of hand seals one for Wind Palm and the other for Feather feet.

Time is running out... ♫ Yukai Okaeshi ♫ she didnt notice seo come into the fight, so when she did see him, she got quite a fright.
s..seo!? whe...where..d..d.diid you come from!?! her voice was still jittery and what not, and she was fighting the effects of her blood loss.
s..seo, don't get involved...i..i'd rather i died th..then both of us...
b..but s..till i..apreciate th..the help...
she caught the kunai, and tried to shuffle backwards, but just ended up falling on the floor with a bit of a splat as she landed in more blood. Time to say goodbye...

Haruka pulled back clumsily, appearing both surprised and put-out by the apparently new target.
She couldn't let there be any witnesses, right? That was why they'd been hiding out in the bushes for weeks, right? She'd have to fight this guy too, right!?
"But I don' wanna kill any'un else!" she cried at her own conclusion. She looked every bit the scared child she was.
However, just as quickly as Haruka's startled expression came, it faded back to her mask of calm professionalism.
In truth, she was all but strangling herself in an attempt to keep a level head. She bit her lip; her serrated Mist Village teeth drew blood almost immediately. The smell helped bring her back to Earth.
She made a new set of hand signs and charged forward again--blades at the ready. She just had to stall until Yukai died..!
