(OOC: In case you're confused, don't mind what the thread title says about it being destroyed. It was just rebuilt not too long ago.)
Enter from Clouds Lake
Sora skidded into the newly repaired ramen shop. It had been destroyed not too long ago, but looked good as new now. Actually, it didn't have a single trace of being destroyed. Being around lunch time, the restaurant was bustling with customers and workers. Waitresses/waiters buzzed from one table to the next to take/deliver orders. Ordinary civilians and ninjas alike talked animatedly at their tables, taking a break from work while enjoying the good food. "Is this place alright?" Sora inquired as she smiled back at Misaki, hoping that she wasn't shocked by how many people there were. The room wasn't crowded but there was a chance that it might disturb someone who had been isolated on a mountain.

When Sora stopped, it took Misaki a minute before she ran right into the girl. "Is this alright?" she had asked her and Misaki didn't know what to think. The building itself was large and pretty, and there were lots of people running about and chatting. But there were wonderful smells wafting from it, and those smells spoke more to her stomach than her head. "Yea, I'm sure it's fine" she mumbled as she rested her hand on her growling stomach. The starlit on her shoulder pecked on her head softly, and Misaki couldn't help but giggle and relax a bit. "So that's three votes for the good-smelling ramen."

Sora took from Misaki's mumbling that she wasn't completely comfortable with the crowded shop. "Don't worry," the girl assured, "It'll be fine. Everyone in the village is at least friendly enough to not attack for no reason." Then Sora's stomach grumbled as well. "Better make that four votes," the girl giggled as she led the way deeper into the restaurant, weaving in and out between chairs and tables as she strode over to an empty spot. When she reached a table of her choosing, one besides a window, the girl sat down in one seat and waved a waiter over in her cheery voice, "Excuse me? Here please!". As the worker bustled over, she turned over to Misaki and asked, "Do you want to order for yourself or should I order for you?".

"Order for me" Misaki said as she glanced around the shop. Everyone kept bumping into each other and shouting, but everyone seemed to be having a good time despite all that. The bird on her shoulder began preening itself, obviously confortable in its location. "Is it always like this here?" she whispered.

"Nah, just during lunch and stuff," Sora quickly explained just as the waiter reached them.
"Will you two like to order something?" the waiter asked politely with a small bow to show respect to his customers. He seemed to be nearing his thirties and had a slight smile framed by black hair and equally dark eyes.
Sora nodded eagerly and, as if she had memorized her order (which she had considering how many times she's been to the restaurant), recited automatically, "One bowl of beef miso ramen and a serving of dumplings!". Then, she remembered that Misaki was with her and quickly corrected her order with the comment, "Actually, double that please!". She shot an apologetic and embarrassed look at her friend, hoping that her blunder wouldn't be judged too harshly. She was excited and when she got excited she tended to make accidents.
The waiter nodded as he quickly jotted down the items, "And I assume you'd want two glasses of water to drink?".
Sora responded with a nod and a, "Yes please!".
The order done, the worker bustled away with ease through the crowd. Apparently, he was used to the store being crowded.
After the waiter had gone away, Sora turned towards Misaki with the same apologetic look that she had glanced at her with a moment ago and muttered, "Sorry...." She really did feel bad for almost leaving out Misaki, even if it was an accident.

Misaki shook her head, hoping Sora understood to not be sorry. "That was pretty cool, how you ordered like that. Like you were a professional orderer of food." She smiled, and turned a little pinkish. She knew she sounded kinda dorkish, with the way she had said that. She pulled on one of her pigtails as she asked "So what you ordered, is it good? I mean, I've had ramen plenty of times to know it tastes better with a few herbs and soy sause. But dumplings? What's that like?"

A single kikaichuu beetle dropped of Sora and scurried out of the building. It made sure to stay out of any visible areas, and stayed under tables to avoid getting noticed. It doubted any more useful information was going to be revealed soon enough and it needed to get the information back to Nagisa.

Sora laughed good-naturedly, she didn't think Misaki dorkish at all, it was just the first time she had heard a comment like that, and that's exactly what she said, "Eheh, that's the first time I've heard that." She then continued to the question about dumplings, but not without thinking for a bit first. Dumplings, while she didn't eat them everyday, were one of those things that were so normal that they were hard to explain, kind of like trying to explain what a tree was. "Well," the girl started, "dumplings are ground meat, chopped vegetables, smashed tofu, and sometimes chopped up noodles wrapped up in a wrapper made out of some kind of dough.... Sorry, but I can't remember what the dough is made out of.... But don't worry! You'll see what they are once they come!".

Misaki stuck out her tongue and shook her head. "Uh uh, they sound odd. You can have mine if you... Give me half your ramen?" She smiled and shook her head some more. "I'm sorry, all I really know how to eat is ramen. I don't eat a lot of the animals up there, so that rules out meat. I can't grow foods, so there's another big chunck. All I really eat are fruits, animals who are on the verge of dying, and ramen!"

Sora thought for a bit then nodded and said, "Deal! But only if you agree to eat at least one dumpling! You wanted to come down to Kumo to experience new things, right? Well, what better way to start than to eat something you've never eaten before?" just as the waiter appeared once more, balancing a try with Sora's and Misaki's food. She backed away slightly from the table to give the waiter more room to put down the bowls, glasses, dishes, and other such objects. After everything was placed on the table and the waiter had bustled away, Sora picked up her wooden chopsticks and broke them with a cheerful "Itadakimasu!". She then looked over to Misaki, having remembered that she had posed a question before the waiter had delivered the food. "So?" the girl asked in case Misaki might have forgotten, "is it a deal?". (OOC: Just in case you don't know what dumplings are, here's an image.)

Tisaki picked up her chopsticks. "Itadakimasu" she mumbled as she broke her sticks apart. She picked up one of the dumplings and pushed the others towards Sora. she smiled, then took a bite of the dumplings. Her bite was small, but she knew it was enough to determined what the rest tasted like. As Sora had said, the little pastry was full of chopped meat, satueed vegetables, and minced herbs. It wasn't particularly bad like Misaki had predicted it to be, but it wasn't something she would enjoy eating regularly. She held it up for the bird to try, then finished the rest in three bites. "Ok, it wasn't bad" she mumbled as she grabbed her ramen bowl "But that doesn't mean I liked having to swallow the rest." She smiled a little as she started eating again.

Sora watched expectantly as Misaki ate the dumpling, as if her actions were the most fascinating thing in the world, which was exactly how she watched anything that managed to attract her attention enough. She smiled at Misaki's response, "Well, you tried it and that's what matters," while waving over a wandering waitress. After asking the worker for another bowl so that she could pour in her friend's share from her own bowl, Sora proceeded to eat the dumpling first. While they weren't her favorite food, that didn't mean that she didn't enjoy eating them, which she did. She savored the taste of the first dumpling while waiting for the dish that she had asked the waitress for.

Haruka continued to run after the cat, and almost managed to catch it. She almost reached the cat's tail, but it made a sudden movement and turned around. With its sudden movement, Haruka almost tripped and was forced to stop running for a few moments, but she quickly regained her balance and went after the cat.
The cat was about to run in the ramen shop, but it seems that the amount of people there, scared the cat with the probability of being caught by one of them. As the cat hesitated, the kunoichi was able to grab it. It seemed that the mission was complete. She had just to take the cat to its owner now. But what Haruka didn't know, was that the cat would attempt to escape. It attempted to scratch her face, and as a quick reaction, she let go of the cat in order to keep herself unharmed. The cat started running again, fortunately this time it was headed to the Raikage's building. [Catch the Cat 4/5]

The starlit's head swivled to the door as Misaki paused in her eating. "Wow, I thought I felt a distressed animal" she whispered, mainly to herself but loud enough for Sora to hear. "But there's not a lot of animals here, right? Too many people, too little trees. Animals are afraid of alot of noise and open space." She shrugged as she slurped down some more of her noodles. She smiled as she held up two limp noodles to the bird. To her surprise, the bird didn't bite, and instead took off to fly out of a nearby open window. Misaki stared after him, shrugged, then busied herself with eating her almost finished bowl.
